THE ROOSTER FAMILY
Nov. 15, 2008 - THE GOOD NEWS
The good news is that I am expecting my second child. This will actually be our third, my oldet being a step-daughter though she is my own in my heart. I am very excited...reading names and seeing baby supplies all over the place. Those TINY clothes and toys, shoes, furniture, and blankets.
Next is my friend Trisha's turn she wants a third child but her spouse does not. What a neat blessing and surprize. |

Oct. 10, 2008 - i am still here praise God!!
Oh where to start this week was sooooooooo long. the emotions were out the window. or at least i wished they were. you see my honeybunch and i both have anxiety . this week was very hard for both of us. You see I am trying a knew concept ha ha called consistency. you all know how important it is well tell that to someone with anxiety.yes it is best for us but when first learning how to cope with it properly learning new tecniques learning to stay calm when anxiety arrives. how to also teach the honeybunch not to yell and whine at sugarpie because that will make her do it more.you see i read an article called the will to dominate. by the pearls it gave me a whole new perspective on how to deal with my free spirited sugarpie so as i am trying to regain the power i gave to sugarpie i am also trying to reteach honeybunch how to communicate without the drama it is just another change inher life although good it still is causing her to feel unsafe and not sure how to cope.schooling as been going fine. honeybunch can count to 100 and many other things. i was writting a report for dss and it ended being 3 pages long some of the stuff we are still working on but never the less she still has the concept. i am so proud of her that even though we have all these stressors in our lives that she is still holding tight to the love of being taught home. |

Sep. 28, 2008 - GETTING TO KNOW THE ROOSTERS
I have two children one 21 months and the other 5 yrs. My 5 yr old is my step-daughter I have been raising her for 3yrs. My husband and I recieved placement when she was 2yrs old. 3 days before her 3rd bday I found out that I was preganat . After being told for many years I could not bare children. It was a huge shock. then shortly after I had the little one We recieved sole custody so not only did I become a new biomom I also became full time mommy to the oldest. so we have spent the last 17 months getting our lives in order. It still also invalves still dealing with 2 hours a week supervised visits with biomom, plus there is also her biomoms mother and stepfaters family functions, her biomoms father and stepmother whom have helped me grow so much in such a loving way so much so that I call her mom . then there is the dinamics of my parents and my husbands parents which thankfully they are both still together. then you also add the big girls half sister on her mothers side thankfully she lives with th one set of grandparents on her side of the family. To make it even more confusingwe all live within 10 minutes of each other with the exception of my parent. sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo as you can see life in my house without homeschooling is craaaaaaaaaaaazy. I am just so thankful for the opportunity to not have to deal with the stress of not knowing what kind of mood my children my come home in. I pray and thank GOD everyday that I have the chance to be able to spend every moment with my children. although .................. yeh you all know out there what that means. lets name the children sugarpie and honeybunch.til the next time. |
