Feb. 22, 2009 - Archeology
My birthday is coming up, and I'm very excited since I'm turning 15! Differences are about to happen, although I'm a little nervous about what they are.
This morning at church my dad announced his calling to the ministry. My mother and I knew all along, and we were waiting for him to announce it. He wants to become a pastor, but he also thought about going over sea's to minister. I still want to write very much, but a dream ever since I was a child was that I wanted to be an Archaeologist. It's been nagging at me for these last couple of months, and I've been looking into it. I seriously think that I will go into archeology. My parents have been thinking about taking a trip into Egypt (They're still thinking) and they thought it was a sign when I told them what I wanted to do.
We've been praying and asking our church to be with us. My dad's struggling with his calling, and I'm struggling with the change of my thoughts. I just wanted to get this off of my chest and ask everyone to be praying for me and my family.
I'm also getting envolved with my first true relationship and it doesn't help my thoughts, but I really like him. It's always sad when you grow up another year, and I'm deffinately stepping. Although I need these stepping stones, it still saddens me.
