Rose in the Wilderness

Dec. 21, 2008

I don't know how to link on the sidebar yet...

I need to post the link to where I got my profile pic from, but I don't know how yet, so I'm gonna put it right here for now. It is:

FreeFoto.com

And that'll have to do for now.

Ta ta,

:) You should be able to go to Settings and then to Links to add it to your sidebar.

Yes, but I haven't been able to find the links section of my settings. I may have to alter my template settings, and I'm not really ready to do that. Thanks, though! I'm happy to see you on my blog. :-)

Hannah,

I did say that I disagree with the author on some things. And one of those things is how he writes from God's perspective. I do agree with you. I don't think it is a book I would pay money for.

Originally, I had thought to paraphrase it for my blog, but I soon realized that it would be difficult to do it in a polite way. Instead, I chose to directly quote the book.

I did actually notice your second point as well. God does indeed wield His punishment upon the nations. But the Bible tells us to be loving and gentle, not witch-hunters intent upon justice. I think the author intentionally mentioned those parts of God we should be imitating.

I know what you're saying, and I do agree with you. All the same, I wanted to share this snippet with others as I really like the way he said a few things.

But personally, I wouldn't be able to get past the first page.

I hate it when somebody has good ideas, but expresses them in a bad way! It makes things frustrating.

God bless,
The Rose
P.S. How are you?
