How to add a "Share & $ave" logo to a Homeschoolblogger site

This is a special entry for homeschoolbloggers ("HSB") who use Tapestry of Grace ("TOG") and want to get credit for helping to share it with others. Here's what you need to know to add a TOG logo and link to your blog.

Go to your HSB control panel.

    Click "Template"

Search for scroll through the HTML code that defines how your page is laid out until you get to text that reads "My Links".

On the line BEFORE that, insert the following text, with ONE important change.

Share & $ave

The CHANGE you need to make is to replace the "KDAD" affiliate code at the end of the long line above with your own affiliate code. This is usually an 8 character string beginning with "TOG".

Click the "preview changes" button at the bottom of the screen to make sure you got what you wanted. Click on your new button and make sure it takes you to the Lampstand Bookshelf.

    Save it if it's right.

Congratulations! You're up and running!

If you aren't sharing and saving yet, click Share & $ave Logon to get started!

A Wise Son Makes His Father Glad--How About a Wise Daugher-In-Law?

My new daughter Jessica has posted thoughts on her role as a wife. She's looking into Proverbs. Here's where she starts:The first verse I studied today is Proverbs 12:4 "An excellent wife is
the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness
in his bones."She looks at how the fear of the Lord affects her life as a wife. I taught my son Mike that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Now Jessica is teaching me that it is the beginning of a wife's wisdom, too!
