4 Girls 4 God - Homeschool Blogger

I am the mother of 4 wonderful daughters and the wife of an awesome man. I have been homeschooling my girls since 2003. This blog is about our life and our journey through the homeschooling years as we strive to raise our 4 girls 4 God.

We Are Having a Baby!

Okay, I know some of you that know me personally are shocked. After all, it has been 8 years. Actually, I am quite surprised myself. Pleasantly, I might add. I have had my moments of "What am I doing?", but then I realize that this is just another blessing. We normally don't tell until I am 12 weeks, but with teenagers in the house, nothing is a secret. LOL. They found out and they are beside themselves with happiness. I am only about 7 weeks along, so anything could happen still. I have seen the doctor and he seems to think everything will be alright. Anyway, I decided to share this bit of news before my girls told everybody!

I Am Blessed!

I came across this picture that someone had taken with my camera of Andrea and Shae (my neice). It made me start thinking about how blessed I am to have 4 precious daughters. Andrea is growing up so fast. Just two more years until she graduates. It doesn't seem possible. She is a girl with a heart for God. In a day of eroding values in our society, I appreciate that about her. She is growing up to be a lovely young lady. I thank God for her!

Valentine's Day Ice Cream Sundae

We made a new craft this week. I thought some of you might enjoy doing this with your kiddos. The girls and their friend Tara thought they were really neat. You will need Valentine jelly beans (or M&M's), artificial carnations, straws and sundae cups. Have fun!
