<title>Two Days Away From 2008</title>
<description>Christmas is over. Same ageless feeling...terrible sadness. No more santa, no more reindeer, no more pretty wrapping paper, no more eating until you can't eat anymore,&amp;nbsp;no more. : (&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; And the worst-- no more activating Christmas gift cards at Chick-fil-a! That is sad.
But let's think about how happy the new year will be! 2008! Wow! I remember it was 1999 not too long ago. And then 2000 when we all expected the computers to get all out of whack. It's amazing how fast a century can pass. Not that I was around in 1900. I am just saying... uh forget it.
So new years resolutions anyone?

<title>My Precious Little Hawiian Calender *grits her teeth in an attempt to subdue anger*</title>
<description>I think it's time to talk about&amp;nbsp;my hawaiian calender... it must be allergic to doors or something&amp;nbsp;because it keeps falling down and I KEEP HAVING TO TAPE IT BACK UP AGAIN!!!!!!!!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I don't know though, it needs a phyciatrist and it needs to get one before I have to&amp;nbsp;need one because if I have to tape it back on the door one more time, I will need some therapy.&amp;nbsp; lol Sorry, hard day. : )&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I really do love my calender, it was given to me by an awesome friend! <title>Just One Reason Why Life is So Wonderful!</title>
<description>How many of you have a best friend/best friends that are like the exact opposite of you?&amp;nbsp; lol&amp;nbsp; I was just wondering because me and my best friends are so not alike, it's even a tad bit scary.&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;My friend Hannah loves the outdoors and enjoys having &quot;adventures&quot;.&amp;nbsp; I remember when we (me, Hannah, and my other best friend... who I will mention later) went canoeing and we came to a big fallen -down tree in the water. I guess you couldn't call it a big problem, because we did eventually&amp;nbsp;manage to slide through to the other side, but it was still&amp;nbsp;in the way!&amp;nbsp; * thinks to herself...&quot;dumb tree!&quot; *&amp;nbsp; The biggest issue with this tree was a&amp;nbsp;sharp branch sticking out. Yeah...&amp;nbsp;So anyways, me and one of my friends' moms were in one canoe and Hannah and my other best friend were in a different canoe. We come up to this stupid tree right?&amp;nbsp;And there's that evil branch.&amp;nbsp;I watched my friends try to figure a way to get through&amp;nbsp;to the other side without getting poked by the branch. Ha, I should have&amp;nbsp;known it would be no problem for Hannah... she and my other friend got themselves through alright while me and Mrs. Annette try to figure a good excuse for returning back to the car and&amp;nbsp;abruptly ending this &quot;adventure&quot;.&amp;nbsp; Then, Hannah yells out&amp;nbsp;and suggests that they pull our boat&amp;nbsp;to the other side.&amp;nbsp;She was intending to tug us! Well, of course that wasn't going to happen!&amp;nbsp; So me and Mrs. Annette had to become suddenly courageous! Haha... we got through ok.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Ha,&amp;nbsp;that's just a memory I'll always keep. The best thing I love about Hannah though&amp;nbsp;is her steadfast love for God and her undying passion to always do His will no matter the costs. Her obedience to Jesus Christ is unwavering. Also, Hannah doesn't conform to the styles and ways of popularity. She's&amp;nbsp;extremely confident in herself and doesn't care what people think about her. The best way to describe her is some one you can talk to all night about problems or spiritual things and she'll never fall asleep on you, she'll never stop listening. One night we stayed up for hours until 5:00 or so finishing off the birthday cake and talking about our lives and how God is working in us.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; ( We were so scared that her sister was going to get mad at us for eating her cake )&amp;nbsp; One time at camp Hannah woke me up really early and we went for a walk. We just talked and spent time and I'll never forget that day.
Now, my other best&amp;nbsp;friend I was talking about... her name is Tabatha. She&amp;nbsp;loves the outdoors&amp;nbsp;too, but she's mostly&amp;nbsp;an artsy person. She likes knitting and croechetting (sp?)&amp;nbsp; and sewing and cooking and drawing and playing piano&amp;nbsp;more than anything.&amp;nbsp; She&amp;nbsp;has a cool old-fashioned personality to her and she loves watching English movies and having tea parties. (I like to say she has mastered the&amp;nbsp;best way to have a&amp;nbsp;tea party.)&amp;nbsp;We have so much fun putting on plays and and baking apple pies! Or sometimes we just sit and talk while I watch her knitt a scarf or a stuffed animal.&amp;nbsp; Ha, she is always making something!&amp;nbsp; Oh, and our tradition! We have the funniest little rule that whenever I go to her house, we have to dance to oldies music!!&amp;nbsp; She turns on the disco ball and the record player and we dance!&amp;nbsp; So fun!&amp;nbsp; I'll never forget the time we stayed up and wrote down a list of all the places in the world&amp;nbsp;we wanted to go... including France!&amp;nbsp; Or the time we came out last in the corn maze... *remembers with a smile*&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; But the cool thing about Tabatha is her spiritual strength and her devotion to her #1 best friend Jesus. She reads the Bible and lives it out faithfully! The loyalty she has to her friends is amazing. She is some one who will stick by your side through it all. Oh, and the trials that she has taken on!&amp;nbsp; The way she handles them with strength that is&amp;nbsp;given out to her by God! I would be crying and confused if I had gone through what she is going through now! Her stability and dependence on Jesus is incredible. Her willingness to forgive is completely amazing.
So here we are... Hannah the adventurer, Tabatha the artist, and me... the musical wild thing from squirrelville. How did we become friends? God. He was the One who put us together and keeps our friendship going. I just hope you all have friends like mine, because if you do, life must be a wonderful thing for you!

<title>If you give a seven year old a ginger bread house...</title>
<description>So we finally decorated the Christmas tree. It looks good...my lil sis helped me with the ornaments and she did a great job! I also have a tree in my room, but it's fake. I like it though because it's just the right size to fit in between my amp and my mushroom chair. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; So this weekend I went on the vacation. We did some stuff, but mostly we just spent time with family. That was good because, like I said, I haven't seen them in awhile. I guess the funniest thing that happened while we were there was when we made the ginger bread house and my little cousin bit right into it like a dog...&amp;nbsp;lol he didn't even pick it up!&amp;nbsp; The rest of the kids made ginger bread cookies. Then that night we had microwaved smores. They were&amp;nbsp;pretty good! &amp;nbsp;Yeah we had a lot of sugar on this family get- together...&amp;nbsp; Ha and just when I thought my cousin was gonna eat the whole ginger bread house, he gets up to throw it in the lake. Talk about some sugar-shocked fish!&amp;nbsp; They are going to need a diet.
So what is truth? Here is the answer in the Bible...
John 14:6&amp;nbsp; NIV
&amp;nbsp;&quot; Jesus answered, &quot; I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.&quot; &quot;
I like this verse because it shows those that want to know what&amp;nbsp;the truth is...&amp;nbsp;that Jesus is the truth! Just thought ya'll would like to know.
