<title>7th September 2006</title>
<description>
I know I always say “Sorry that I haven’t blogged in awhile.” But I have four things on the go. They are: my cross-stitch (that I’m half finished), my book “Clan of the Cave Bear” By Jean M. Auel (it is really good so far), Mum’s website (I’ve only done four pages that are live) and of course my BLOG.
&amp;nbsp;
On Sunday mum and I went to have a look at this open home (just to be nosey and to have fun) it was fun. Then we started driving to the shops. This car in front of us was slowly drifting into this other car on the opposite lane. Mum and I could see it happening. Nether of them were going fast. The car that got hit was totally MUNTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the damage was on the driver’s door the driver would of most likely of been killed! Luckily no one was hurt! The man in the car in front of us must have fallen asleep or something. Since we were the only person that witnessed the accident so we had to wait until the police came. Mum told the police what happened and everything was sweet. So we went shopping, went home, and did chores.
&amp;nbsp;
On Monday I went to piano and had the average day. That was the same as Tuesday but James helped mum make tea (he always helps on a Tuesday). I made tea on Wednesday (last night). It was meat loaf with fried bacon and cabbage and boiled spuds (potatoes). James also went to guitar, which he is really picking up fast!!!!!
&amp;nbsp;
Today we did chores, school and went to see if we could find me a cross-stitch bag. There weren’t any of the styles that mum has and that is the only style I like. Yes, fussy. But I brought a cross-stitch thread holder with the money that Dale gave me for my birthday.
&amp;nbsp;
I made tea tonight, Tacos. We had T.C. (dad’s friend) and Josh (T.C.’s son which is sort of friendly with). So we ate tea, I did the dishes because Dr. Who is on (which mum and I both don’t like but mum is doing her cross-stitch), made cups of tea, cocoa and hot chocolate. So I’ve just sat down to do this. I’m not going to write a big, long entry tonight (not that I do any way) because I’m going to work on mum’s website and want to read some things on the internet about Cave Bears and Woolly Rhinos.
&amp;nbsp;
They actually found a whole Woolly Rhino (besides its fur and hooves) in a tar pit in Starunia, Poland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the stuff about the Cave Bear’s cave in Romania is well WOW!!!!!!!!!!! &amp;nbsp;Here is the link http://www.showcaves.com/english/ro/showcaves/Ursilor.html &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
So going to go

<title>31th August 2006</title>
<description>I know I haven’t blogged in a while! I’ve have got side tracked!!
&amp;nbsp;
Fiona died on Sunday morning. She left four kids and her husband. It has been a great loss to many though I didn’t know her very well. I’d only met her a few times. &amp;nbsp;Her funeral is today so mum is going.
&amp;nbsp;
Since it was Granddad’s birthday on the 25th and Nan’s is tomorrow. &amp;nbsp;We are taking up lunch (homemade bread, quiche, and cinnamon ginger cake with caramel icing) and James and I are going to stay at their place while mum is at the funeral.
&amp;nbsp;
The reason why I haven’t blogged in a while is because I’ve started a new cross-stitch. It’s another sampler. It going to have the alphabet (I’ve already done), a flower ring with my name in the middle, a bee hive up the top with bees around it, flowers as the second border and then squares a the main border.
&amp;nbsp;
Do any of you like to do cross-stitch????
&amp;nbsp;

<title>26th August 2006</title>
<description>
Today I tidied up my room and moved everything around in different places.
&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;I started reading a book called “Hope Chest Legacy” By Rebecca Wilson. It is really interesting!!!! My mum did a Glory Box (Hope Chest) when she was a teen and had pasted the Chest onto me. I only have a tablecloth that my Great Nana made, as another tablecloth that my Nan made, two tablecloths that my Great Grandma made, my Ganny’s (Grandma’s) cook book, a china tea set, a silver tea set (it was my Ganny’s) and a few jar things for the kitchen. Do any of you guys do a Glory Box??? &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
Home school families in NZ have been having a bit of a ruff time! A little boy called Shaun who is only six years old and is in hospital with leukaemia but is recovering. Another lady went into hospital and died this Morning.
&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;So enough of the sad stuff! I have some very important news! My kittens Rosemary and Jasmine have caught their very first mouse tonight all by themselves! Aren’t they clever! It is their second mouse that they have had. The first one was when their mum Briar-Rose caught it for them when they were little!
&amp;nbsp;
Got to go for tea.

<title>23rd of August 2006</title>
<description>&amp;nbsp;
Sorry I haven’t blogged for a while!
&amp;nbsp;
I’ve been rather busy!
&amp;nbsp;
As you probably know it was my birthday two days ago! I got a food processor with a blender and a gas torch from mum and dad, a cook book from James, $10 from Dale, $20 from Nan and Grandad and $50 from Ned (I was extremely spoil this year!!!!).
&amp;nbsp;
I made my birthday cake on the Sunday (the day before) but iced it on my birthday. It was a delicious, chocolate cake that is only made twice a year (my birthday and dad’s). It was a four layer cake with chocolate cream filling, cream all around the outside and top, then around the sides sliced almonds, on the top it was decorated with chocolate cream icing (frosting for you Americans) and a chocolate cream centre piece that had been rolled in flaked chocolate. YUM!!!!&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
I made smoothies (in the blender) for breakfast (they were absolutely scrumptious)!!!
&amp;nbsp;
Some of you might have seen that mum played a birthday prank on me. She changed my blog and I was furious because she didn’t save my blog template properly.
&amp;nbsp;
To top it off dad had planned a surprise (which is one of my pet hates for I like to know what I’m doing). So I was made to hop in the car and mum took me down to dad’s work (along with James). So by this time I was SO annoyed (well that word doesn’t really say it but I better not say the word!). So they promised that they would never do another prank on me. Or a surprise (which I thought and still think is how it should be)!!!
&amp;nbsp;
In the end I found out that the surprise was that I was allowed pick out something at this really good catering shop that was up to $50. I choose nothing for I already had it all. So they took me to the Telecom (Cellphone brand) and I got some headphone thingies for my Cellphone so I can listen to the radio on it.
&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;So we drove home and I made Tacos for tea and then the cake for dessert. I used my food processor to grate the carrot, cheese, and the onions for the mince. But I used the slicing tool for the lettuce.
&amp;nbsp;
Then we played two rounds of Cluedo and then I went to bed.
&amp;nbsp;
The next morning Mum and Dad had found a car, a Volkswagen beetle. After dad had gone to work mum got on the phone. And organised a flight for James and dad, work out the sale with the car owners, if the people who were taking one of the kittens wanted the kitten to go on the same flight that afternoon with dad and James, if those people could take dad and James to the car owners house after they the flight, the insurance, packed dad’s bag, and get one of her friends to be able to take us to the train station. While she was doing this I made muffins and sausages for James to take, their toiletries, and help James pack his bag.
&amp;nbsp;
Then we got picked and taken to the train station from mum’s friend. We got on the train but we found out that cats weren’t allowed on. We were VERY lucky because the train guard liked cats so she bended the rules for us and let us go. When we were half way there another guard came on as well so we thought we were going to be in BIG trouble but that guard also like cats so we got through. Few!!!
&amp;nbsp;
We got off outside dad’s work and went into the airport. Dad and James got on the plane and were off. Mum and I went to Cobb&amp;amp;Co. for tea. I had a chicken and bacon burger with spicy wedges and mum had chicken with salad and chips. Then we went home did the chores and mum talked on the phone to Dale (she is seriously sick with cancer) while I was playing on The Sims 2.
&amp;nbsp;
Then we went to bed.
&amp;nbsp;
Not much more to tell.
&amp;nbsp;

<title>19th of August 2006 AKA: two days until my BIRTHDAY!!!!!</title>
<description>&amp;nbsp;
Oh I can’t wait! ONLY two days until my birthday (yeah I know, I’m a big kid!)!!!!
&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
Last night dad brought home my birthday present (all wrapped and no were I can peek L) to make it even more unbearable! I started shaking it (it made a sound J but have idea what it is L!!)! James had got my present and it is a flattish thing like a book but it is long (maybe it is one o the GIANT chocolate bars that I seen!
&amp;nbsp;
Do you guys have any idea what it could be???????
&amp;nbsp;
If so TELL me!!!
&amp;nbsp;
Also to top it off dad put my present in a box so I can’t feel it properlyL L!!!!
&amp;nbsp;
Mum is going to have to take me shopping to get the stuff for my cake and maybe this other really srummy looking French thing that I want to make which is made out of sweet pastry (yummy it’s even nice when it is uncooked!J), cream and sugared candy-things that are shape like flowers for decoration.
&amp;nbsp;
I am sitting her in my P.J.s and dressing gown (it is winter over here at the moment) on the computer. I woke up at around 3 am read my extremely amazing, can’t put down book, do you want to know what it is?? Of course you do!! It is “The crossroads” By Beverly Lewis (one of my favourite authors!) the sequel to “The Postcard” By Beverly Lewis! It is really good. Well actually all of Beverly Lewis’s book are really incredible, exciting, amazing and cannot put down books!!!!!!!!!!
&amp;nbsp;
You should read them!!!!!
&amp;nbsp;
So I’ll get back to telling you what I’ve done this morning. Then I got up at 6.30 because my stomach was complaining that it was desperately hungry, made scrambled eggs on toast (the first batch started popping in the microwave (opps it wasn’t meant to be popegg (I’ve just invented somethingJ!!! But too bad it tasted absolutely DISGUSTING!) But the next batch tasted better!!!, so I ate that and I’m on the computer because nobody else is up! (I won’t get told off for being on it without doing my chores this wayJ!).
&amp;nbsp;
So that is what I have done so far this morning!
&amp;nbsp;

<title>Whats the date? Oh yes 14th August 2006</title>
<description>Today I went to the library, Kingdom Warehouse to get James’s guitar and for his free placement lesson, went to the Doctors (not for me luckily, don’t like going), I know this is very boring!
&amp;nbsp;
I’m going to make this more EXCITING now! On Saturday James was racing the pee wee round and round the section and boom, crash! He smacked into the house. So there is a big dent!!
&amp;nbsp;
Not much else to say so I am going to stop before I make you absolutely bord!

<title>11th August 2006</title>
<description>10 days until my birthday!!!!

&amp;nbsp;
Today I got up at 8 am (I know naught!) because I was reading “Little Women” and it got really exciting!!!
&amp;nbsp;
Then I got up had breakfast (fruit toast with butter, YUM!), did my chores and started school.
&amp;nbsp;
I did my science test today. It was about the circulation system. I got an A. YES!!!!
&amp;nbsp;
Oh yea, how could I of forgotten! Mum brought me a Latin study! Oh yea oh yea!! You see I’ve wanted to do Latin for a while because it will help me with my science words. Though mum wasn’t convinced that I needed it but when she was looking for English curriculum and spelling curriculum they all recommend learning Latin.&amp;nbsp; So in the end she decided that it would be good for me.
&amp;nbsp;
I’m so glad that the terrorists didn’t get to go through with their plan about bombing Europe and the USA! So many people would have been killed! We don’t need another World War III!!!
&amp;nbsp;
We took the kittens to the vets to get vaccinated today. Naughty Wallace, cheeky and Dolly really now I mean REALLY didn’t like their jab! The other four were prefect as!
&amp;nbsp;
For tea tonight we had a fry up. It was steak, onions, hot chips, and eggs (dad cooked and that is what he felt like). &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
Signing out (I thought I should put something at the end)
&amp;nbsp;
Abs
&amp;nbsp;
P.S. What do you think about my sign out????????????
