It was creepy but awesome. So on a scale from 1 to 10.. (ten being the best) I give it 10 lol. It was a great movie!! We had a great Thanksgiving, my Grandparents came over to our house this year!! We were stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey!! I am more excited for Christmas. I am wishing for a camera and a metal detecter!! And my b-day is on Dec 31, I am so excited for that too I will be 13 this year !! Well today is kinda a lazy day for me at least!! I don't feel up to bat at all today!! Well anyway I am writing a book called Lynda Jones!! I will give you the first chapter on my blog but I have 8!! So here you go!!    Once there was a young girl who lived in a very peculiar house on a very short street in a very small town. Her name was Lynda Jones and she was just celebrating her 13th birthday. Her long wavy goldenrod hair hung down around her waistline. And her eyes were as blue as the summer sky. Lynda loved to explore the world and all that lived in it.           On one particular day she wanted to go to a wonderful rain forest, with trees, monkeys, bananas and all different kinds of creatures. And outside of the rain forest she wanted to see castles, dragons and swords. Lynda spent many moment through her day thinking about how much she’d love to visit such a place.           While exploring the woods in her backyard Lynda found something strange that she had never noticed before. In a giant, towering oak tree there was a large hole in the base of the trunk. She peered into the hole and could tell right away that it was not an ordinary tree for upon looking down she did not see the bottom of the tree or ground. She saw a light which appeared to be off in a great distance and it seemed to beckon to her.           She once again looked at the outside of the tree. The hole had wonderfully beautiful designs etched into the wood all around it. Lynda saw words written at the top of the hole, saying “Etti arag utum”. Lynda gasped as she held up the heart-shaped gold locket around her neck and turned it over to read those very words inscribed on the back.           The locket had been around her neck for as long as she remembered. Her parents said that she must have been born with it because she was wearing it the day she was placed in a bundled basket on their front porch. But oddly enough neither her parents nor Lynda could ever open the locket even when using all their strength.           Lynda ran inside and packed her backpack because she knew she was going on a fantastic adventure. She packed a first aid kit, bread and other foods, gloves, a jacket, a notepad, a rain jacket and hat and also three rags. She left a note for her parents saying that they needn’t worry and she set off to investigate the hole in the large oak tree.           Lynda peered down into the hole and once again saw the bright light. She decided to climb through the hole which was just large enough for her thin framed body. Lynda was afraid of falling, but soon found herself sliding gently down a golden winding slide, edged with white and red roses. Soon she found herself sitting on soft, mossy ground. She stood up quickly and walked towards an archway where a light was coming from. As she stepped through the archway the smell of water and trees filled the air. Lynda was in awe. The trees were towering taller than her house, through the clouds. There were thick vines hanging down from the trees so that they looked like swings. She soon realized that this was the very rainforest she imagined in her dreams to visit that day.           As Lynda walked on the soft, mossy path she noticed stones on the side of the path. The stones each had different inscriptions which were in the same type of strange language on her locket. As Lynda walked further she noticed three larger stones, each of them with names on them. The largest read “Salron Xavier”. The next largest said “Ellen Xavier”. And the third largest, which was right in the middle, read “Zella Xavier”. For some reason reading the name Zella made Lynda feel strange, as if the name was her own.           She started walking again, when something sharp cut her arm. She turned around to see what had cut her. It was an old sword stuck in a tree. She pulled the sword out with a long, hard tug. The sword had roses etched on the blade. She said “This could come in handy.” She walked over to an old log and sat down on it. She reached into her backpack and grabbed the first aid kit and one of the rags. She walked over to a nearby stream and washed her cut with the water. Then she wrapped her arm with the rag and pinned it with a safety pin.           Suddenly, off in the distance she heard the loud snap of a twig in the forest. I can't wait to start reading it lol!! Well, yesterday we didn't do much at all. We just kinda hung around the house.  Today I have to babysit for someone at 3:00! And then we have to go to co-op tomorrow. Well there isn't much to say today!! Some are of some photos I drew of Harry Potter characters. And some are from a co-op family harvest celebration!! I have a bunch of photos that I drew in a little book!!   LOL We had SOOO much fun at the harvest festival we did!! They had a corn maze there, and we split up into groups. My group included Coleman, Charlie, Hayley, and me!! And we had to run and hide in the pitch black from the other group. We just kinda stayed behind them and they had no idea! They were screaming our names! And then me, Coleman and Hayley ran around the whole entire huge corn maze 3 times!! We were so tired after that lol! But the other group still didn't find us ha ha ha!!!   OH and I am almost done with the first book of Harry Potter LOL Yeah Yeah There's only one and a half chapters left.  Then I get to start the 2nd book (The Chamber of Secrets) Whoohoo!! What I have chose is the Snowy Owl. Because I just got to watch some of the Harry Potter movies, and Harry has an owl named Hedwig, and he is a Snowy Owl!! So here is something teaching you about them!!   The Snowy Owl is found in the northern circumpolar regions (Canada and Northern United States during the winter), where it makes its summer home. However, it is a nomadic (traveling) bird, it has been known to be found at even more northerly latitudes when it is finding a mate (summer). Their habitat is grasslands. They are a large, beautiful bird with a wingspan of up to 4 1/2 feet! They are mostly white but have some brown bans in them. Their food source is small mammals like mice and such. The Snowy Owl nests on the ground. Snowy Owl pairs fiercely defend their nests against predators, even wolves. They lay 5 to 14 eggs, which are laid one at a time, about every other day over the course of several days. Hatching takes place about five weeks after laying, and the pure white young are cared for by both parents.  Here are some photos of them! This is a baby snowy owl (Aww it's so cute!) Just staying home, doing school and trying to get some stuff done. Two days ago we changed my room up a bit. I have a bunkbed now and a new dresser. lol  I will have photos of my room at the bottom. On the 7th we have something for our co-op called Farm Frenzy!! And on the 9th we are going to Evans Orchard with our co-op. And on the 10th we are going to do something with the co-op again called Harvest Celebration!! Wow, we have a lot on the list for this week LOL!!!! Well, I guess I will give you some photos now. So I will today!! The other day me and Gabby went over to our neighbor's house. And Gabby and Camryn played dress up, I helped them! And Camryn's mom Renee let them hold Avery, but only if they sat on the couch!! I have a bunch of photos!! This morning Gabby was watching Imagination Movers and a song came on and Gabby was dancing. I got a video of that!!! My sissy loves to sing and dance!! It sometimes can be quite funny!! The other day Gabby was singing about her friend Fred!! I am like, "Gabby we don't know a Fred!!" That was starting to get a little bit old so I made a new one that says Lord of the Rings on it!!! Well as you know our friends came down on the 4th and I never did a post on it, so today is the day. We had so much fun together. We have known them well forever. our parents were friends before we were born. They have 8 children. The oldest is Tasha she is 15 and then there is Juliette she is 13, and there is Allyson she is 12 and then there is Jacob he is 9 and then there is more little ones I can't remember how old they are but I know their names Olivia, Charlotte, Elijah, and Emmaline I will have some photos at the bottom!!!! We always have so much fun we have a thing called the NLT that is where we jump off a chair and take photos of us in mid air!!!! It is so fun!!! I have a birthday party tommorow to go to!! I mean it can't be all quiet when you have a brother and a sister LOL!!!! What have we been doing? Oh we went to the Freedom Center on the 4th, that was so fun.  We got to see a bunch of stuff. It was amazing to see all about the slavery but sad all at the same time. We got to see some movies about it, I think we watched 2 movies. I will have photos at the bottom!! My brother is going camping with my dad and a few friends, it will be peace and quiet around the house!!! Co-op started this Friday!! I love to see all my friends there!! And next friday I have a B-day party to go to!!!
