I really like this song (and many others!) because it's a prayer to God, praising Him for who He is--asking Him to fill your life--to keep your feet on the path and your eyes on the goal ahead.

Obama has been president for over a week now... I haven't noticed any change here in Texas, but I know that it will come.

Obama has chosen to make abortion and gay-marriage legal in all of the USA--already 1.3 million babies die each year. I wonder what the unborn children would say if they could tell us something... 'wait, don't! You're missing out on a huge blessing!', "Sure, you might consider us a burden now--but just wait a few more months! You'll have a wonderful gift if you'll just wait that long!"

Gay marriage is wrong, too. It's disgusting--just plain disgusting. Since the beginning of the world, marriage has been between man and woman--Adam and Eve...

Genesis 2:24 -- For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

An Explanation of My Title

The first time I ever saw the term was on the assistant minister of youth's T-shirt. He was wearing it at a Block Party that our church hosted, as a way to reach the 'less-fortunate' in a certain neighborhood where we had just built a house for a very nice woman.

Her old house was not a house at all, at least I wouldn't call it one. It was a mobile home, with holes in the floor and ceiling--no electricity, so on and so forth.

Our church prayed about wether or not we should build her a house--a real house--and came to the conclusion that we should.

Many people helped tear the old house down, and still more helped to build the new house up.

It turned out beautifully, and the woman (a mother of two teenaged boys) loved it.

But that's not the main reason I chose this title--it's just a neat story I thought I'd share. =)

As you can see, the subtitle is John 3:30-31.

He must increase, but I must decrease. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

Jesus > Me

Jesus greater than me.

This is horrible, wretched, un-cool, terrible, stinky, bad, not-good...

Actually, I have been pondering whether I should stick to HSB or switch to Blogger. Lots of people have, but I never really though that I would ever want to!
Why? Why? Why? WHY?

I don't know.

Seriously, though -- help me out here, people! I'm in a serious pickle; a ginormous dilemma; a -- maybe I should stop and actually think this over, and -- and -- well, let's analyze HSB for starters:

HSB vs. Blogger:

HSB is... in a way... "safer" than Blogger.
HSB is for homeschoolers (that of which I am =), while Blogger is for everyone, not just homeschoolers.
Blogger is really easy to use -- you can add gadgets on your sidebar easily, and you can add buttons and lists, and all sorts of things to your sidebar really easily. With HSB, you have to know HTML. Which isn't really a problem for me -- just a hassle.
They're both free -- that's always important. =)
Blogger has more fonts that HSB does -- HSB has 6, while Blogger has 8, including webdings.
If you have ten bucks a year, you can have a "custom domain" name powered by Blogger, while on HSB, you have to always have the "homeschoolblogger.com" part before.

I'd like your opinions. =)

I'd like your opinions so much in fact, that I made a poll so that it's easy for me to see the percent of people who don't care, people who want me to go, people who want me to do what I think is best, and people who love me so much, that they want me to stay. =)

For Christmas I got one of the best books of all time from my Aunt D. and Uncle F.

It's called The Mysterious Benedict Society, and it's 485 pages full of adventure and suspense!

I decided to wish y'all a merry Christmas today (Christmas Eve) because I will be traveling and spending time with family tomorrow, so I prob'ly won't have a chance to post. Anyhoo... Enough explaining. =)

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.
This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.
