When we first got them we had to show them lots of love by hugging them and patting them. We built a snake proof cage for the guinea pigs home. Rhino and me. And they said, “Yes tomorrow we will go to the tunnel’’. But this was a year ago. But the Rocks monsters keep getting the crystals But the captain of the tunnels know what side where they are. And the Rocks monsters want to get out.   But the Rocks monsters can’t find the tunnel door way. The captain is very clever with Rocks he knows what is Rocks or Rocks monsters.  The captain’s name is Rex the second captain’s name is Jonathan the captain of the machine’s name is Matthew the captain of the dynamite’s name is John the captain of the crystals’ name is Andrew and the captain of the making thing’s name is Samuel. Them like to dig them are dig north and them meet a lots of Rocks monsters and crystals.        Monday the 2 May 2009 They got a warning light came on that means Rocks monsters is near here!! . Everyone all take their weapons and they ran out of their base with their weapons John fall in a hole with three Rocks monsters and one of the Rocks monsters is a second captain!! They tied up John when he  woke found he stand at the sharp hole!!  They camped there.                                                                                        Tuesday the 3 May 2009                                                                            Now I’m going to jump in the sharp hole. Suddenly Boom!! a wall broke some drive with light no then John know who that was is machine five and the Rocks monsters ran away and the machine five stop and John ran to the machine five and their Matthew sitting in machine five John hop in the machine five Matthew told John  a story of a man he did can in the tunnel and Matthew said he is back!!. They went to their camp to have a sleep.     Wednesday the 4 May 2009  Everyone went to a building. Rock monsters in a circle around the build the captain have a idea he told his idea to everyone he idea is Samuel will run out and say help!! Help!! hoping  the Rocks monsters will follow Jonathan will be waiting in machine four and John will throw a dynamite at the building and hoping the crystals and they will get the crystals with machine four with his scoop said captain and they put the idea in action everything working But one thing before they touch one crystals suddenly Boom!!!! A wall broke and something come out everyone said Andrew!!. Yes and you can see  I bring my gun and my friend Rocks monsters!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Said Andrew Very funny mr. Andrew said Jonathan come here  Rocks monsters and tied them up said Andrew.                                                  Thursday the 5 may 2009 Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep        .the mayor of Australia went to the office and they said we tried to stop him said them him !!!!!!! said the mayor The mayor ran out of the office and went to the dynamite house. Everyone walk to sharp hole when they got to sharp hole suddenly Boom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The roof broke and the Rocks monsters and Andrew didn’t run because all the Rocks fell no each other and who no top the mayor Rocks monsters gun and the polices. And the mayor was a surprise the him were Andrew and the polices arrest him. and the mayor made them the power miners men. Dad and I coming home. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/724881/ Mon, 7 Sep 2009 21:54:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/724881/ Powerful Miner is lego.  Powerful Miner is very cool because it has small and big machines and has small things it can do.  One of the machines is called a drilling machine.  You can move the drill, which is really cool.  In the middle you can lift off the lid and there is a compartment.  On the back is the driving part – it doesn’t have a driving wheel, but driving sticks, or a joy stick.  This toy is very cool.                                                                                             The next machine is a digger.  On it is two sticks with two claws on the end to hit the rocks with to loosen it up.  There is wheels attatched to the ends for you to move the sticks.  At the front there’s a scoop for you to collect crystals and rocks.    There is also a person-machine.  You can move the legs up and down.  There is a small drill on one of the arms to dig.  There are also a couple of dynamite sticks.  On the other arm there is a claw to pick up crystals and rocks.    There are some baddies; they’re called the three rock brothers.  Those rock monsters are kinda cool because on the face you can open up the mouth and there is a big hole in the stomach and then you can put the crystals in the stomach.  The rock monsters can cook the crystals in their hand to put them in their mouth.   The crystals are kinda small.  They look like little pipes sticking out, but they are shiney and seethrough and kinda sharp.  The rock monsters want to keep them away from the people, but the people are trying   to keep the crystals away from the rock mosters.  It’s a little  confusing sometimes!   How I got them: I got one of them for my tenth birthday and that was the person-machine.  Then I used my own money to get the rest of them.  And they are cool! Mum is teaching me how to play on a normal guitar, not an electric one. I’m learning to hold the string at the neck with my fingers and then use my other thumb to play at the sound-hole.  I can move my fingers up the strings at the neck to practice stretching my fingers to reach the top string. Once I am used to playing all 6 strings, then I can play notes. It’s kinda tricky, but not too hard. It’s exciting to be learning how to play the guitar.   This picture is about all the different bits of a guitar. Maybe you could learn to play a guitar too. It’s very fun.       This is me: playing the guitar http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/656514/ Tue, 10 Feb 2009 01:58:00 -0600 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/656514/ dictated by Daniel - typed by Mum A wicked pirate is Blackbeard, he really lived.   Pirates are kinda like robbers, they steal things.  But pirates sail and dig for treasure, robbers just take things from banks and houses.  Pirates burn down houses and camps just because they are pirates!   Sometimes pirates have parrots.    They have long guns and short guns.  Pirates wear boots, sometimes they don’t have boots.  They have canons to sink other ships down.  Do you  know, that the Chinese people had pirates too.   Pirates always need a map for treasure.  Some pirates had armour.  They have daggers to fight people for their own treasure.   There are some different kind of flags.  They all mean death, which isn’t very nice.   Flags were important cause they gave messages to other boats.   There was a lot of treasure everywhere.   But pirates don’t think of other people.  Pirates only think of themselves, sometimes they even killing other pirates on the deck.  God does not want us to kill.  God wants us to love our enemies.  We need to care for them, tell them what is right and do nice things for them. I do like pirates, but I don't like what they did then.  I made all the treasure in the treasure chest and the flag.   I bought the costume and knife from the toy shop. I've been looking at lots of books about pirates and playing pirates with my friends, and myself. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/651792/ Mon, 22 Sep 2008 20:59:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/651792/   The first day, we went to Echidna Chasm.  It’s fun in there; in one place, the light hit the rock and bounced off as a different colour.  There were some rocks stuck in between the sides of the chasm.  The colour of the rocks were a dark browny-orange when the sun hit the rocks.  It took about ½ hour to get there and ½ hour to get back.   On the second day, we went the domes, which are the beehive-shaped rocks.  We saw lots of conglomerate rock; conglomerate rocks look like shells stuck together.  They were stuck together from the wet season.  There was lots of lines on the domes.   Day three:  We went to the Mini Palms Gorge walk; there was lots of rock climbing (I like climbing) to get there.  There was stairs to get up steep rocks.  At the end, the was a fence, like a balcony; there was lots of palm trees down below and around us.  The fence was there to stop people from going down there to kill the plants, and it wasn’t safe.  Then we went back to the car, and went back to the camp.  And we went out again to see the sunset going down on a rock.  We were actually seeing the light and shadows when the sun set.  And we found out that colour was the same to the one at Andy’s Chasm, but darker.   Day Four: We packed up the tents, and we went back home, but it was far away.  It took six hours to get home. It made me sick, in the car, but when I hopped out, I wasn’t sick.  We all ate a pie in the car.  We listened to Odyssey and Mr Henry.   I liked the Bungle Bungles.  It was really cold at nighttime, but thanks to Mum, she gave us some hot chocolates to make us warm, and Mum got us some hot water bottles to sleep with.  Mum let us have more hot chocolates in the morning!  I woke up very early every morning, while everybody was still asleep, except for Mum and Dad.  And I saw the sun every day coming up, it was really nice. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/651789/ Thu, 14 Aug 2008 20:50:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DanielLetchford/651789/
