Some people blog so wonderfully, then there is me.    though I do have a good excuse this time!  My 8 year old has had this awful staff infection and we have been dealing with alot the last week.  3 dr appts and an ER visit.  sigh.  Oh! And studying for my last night of class, which was last Thursday.  I took the final and got an A! I was so excited.  I got an A in the class.  Next semester will be harder. it will be the first time that I am taking 2 classes and I know that 1 of them will take alot of studying AND writing a research paper.  eew!  Ok, I do admit that with the first class I took, I really did enjoy the research paper and did pretty well too.  We are done with our Christmas shopping!  that is a load off.  I am really looking forward to the kids opening their presents.  I got my 8 year old 2 stuffed penguins AND penguin pajamas (he loves penquins)  One I bought was at the grocery store.  Later after I bought it, we were at that grocery store and he saw the same stuffed animal that i got him and his eyes just lit up!  OH I cant wait till he opens it!!!   http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DebisFamily/441341/ Sat, 8 Dec 2007 22:09:00 -0600 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DebisFamily/441341/     Dh is a Boy Scout leader.  So this weekend he went on a campout with the scouts.  I stayed home with the boys. So on Saturday we went to the city (we live in the mountains) and went shopping.  We had such a good time! So this bumps my grade from a B to an A!!  Now we have 2 more classes and then  a final.  So that will be 2 weeks full of studying!  sigh.       http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DebisFamily/428290/ Fri, 16 Nov 2007 12:23:00 -0600 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DebisFamily/428290/      On Thursdays I go down to the local (1 hour and 12 minutes from my front door) Community College.  This semester I am taking a math class.  And out of the next four class sessions (which are the last 4 class sessions) I have 2 tests.  One of them is tonight and the other is the final, which will be on the last night.  SOOOOO.... I have been studying.  I'm stressing a little bit.  not too bad though.  I think I will do pretty well. I know I have a high B in that class, but I am hoping to raise that grade to an A.       Today I had to take N (8) to get his yearly flu shot. He is such  a brave boy.  He worries all year about this one day. (literally all year)  It has been something we have been praying about for a long time.  But he still worries.  Anyway.  He did well.  This is the first year though that he did not ask to sit on my lap while it was being done.  That made me a little bit sad!  But then it would be kind of odd if he was still asking at, say... 15, yes?  hee hee.  Its funny, he will only go to this one nurse that has been giving him the shots since he was 3 I think.  And today he was quite concerned about her being there when he becomes an old man. i asked him how old will he be when he is old.  his answer was "30" OH my!  I was old 4 years ago.  Well, i probably best be getting off the computer and doing my homework or cleaning.  sigh.  neither of them sound quite as much fun as sititng here reading homeschoolers' blogs.  http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DebisFamily/427784/ Thu, 15 Nov 2007 15:53:00 -0600 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DebisFamily/427784/      I believe this is my 4th attempt at starting a blog.   I get these great ideas for blogs but I either, never start or I do start and give up after a month or two. SOO here I sit again starting a blog.  This time will be different, but haven't I said that at least three times before? HA HA      My name is Debi. I am a Christian (for about 15 years now)  I have been married to my Mr perfect for 16 years.  And we have 3 beautiful boys.  Ages: 9, 8 and 2.  Hopefuly another one, but that is in God's hands right now. Oh and we have 3 cats.  but I am SURE one of them is expecting which makes N (8) VERY happy, as it is his cat.  We homeschool.  We have been homeschooling since T (9) started school.  We at first went through a charter school but since have stopped.  I am wondering if we should be going back. I have been praying about that for awhile now.  Cant think of any thing else to write in my indroction.  My hobbies are playing with my kids, reading, knitting(something I just learned) crocheting, Bible study. (I am doing a great Bible study with Beth Moore)  Wow it is great!!
