Homeschool Buy - Auction Site For Homeschoolers!

Have you been to homechool buy?! I just heard
about it a few days ago and have signed up. It turns out it's pretty
nifty. I've listed several of my ebay items, as the products I sell are
always the same, and I was able to copy and paste most of it with ease.
Go take a look at HomeschoolBuy.com
and sign up. My username is princessfyara, and some of my listings
include; Zapper, Kombucha Kit, Recipes, and Essential Oil. I must warn
you, the text box is a little bit faulty if you are running javascript,
so be careful to type up your listings in your own editor or you risk
starting over. It's new and they are working out the kinks. :)

I already have a bid!

Miracle Math: How to Develop a Calculator in Your Head

This book not only would be a great addition to your library, but it's a great tool to help your homeschooling kids to develope a "calculator brain". (An essential for doing well in Mathamatics). It's an inexpensive book and very practical. I highly recommend it for children and adults. The system is easy, and it's usable.

Click here to look at this book by Harry Lorayne, on Amazon

The Wonders of God's Creations/Moody Science Videos

I was reading the Idaho Statesman this
morning and came across an article about a man named Bill Erickson,
from Flagstaff, Arizona, who is going to kyak 900 miles to raise
awareness for Salmon. Read his blog here. It reminded me of Moody Science, the Wonders of God's Creation, in Animal Kingdom
which has a really neat story about some Salmon raised in a fish
hatchery which went through great pains to come home again, following
some water that drained through a pipe. Any way, it's really neat and I
wanted to be sure and recommend the series to you. Add it to your
Homeschool science! I learned so much from those videos as a kid. Click here to see the Wonders of God's Creation series

Free Online Science Helper!

In
my own Homeschooling, Dad was the Science teacher. Basically, if I had
any question at all, he knew the answer. He knows everything about
Science! Physics, Chemistry, -You name it. It’s all foreign to Mom,
though. Something like the Science Helper might be a good tool for you
if you are like my Mom.
Here is a link to a great Yahoo! Group called “Science Helper”. Enjoy it!
GLS, Accelerated Learning?

“Accelerated
Distance Learning: The New Way To Earn Your College Degree In The 21st
Century” is a must read for Homeschool Parents and those considering
the traditional College education.

“Brad Voeller earned his four-year, fully accredited college degree
in less than six months, for less than $5,000, by applying the
revolutionary techniques of accelerated distance learning. Now, he
shares with you this amazing new approach to learning that will allow
you to earn the credential you need in less than half the time - for a
fraction of the cost.”

Global Learning Strategies has some of the very best resources for
the advanced Homeschooling family. I have absolutely loved having
“College in a box” and have gained so much from the practical and
extensive techniques in the book, and other resources. I had the
privilege to attend a seminar in my area about 6 months ago and meet
several young people pursuing degrees using ADL, and was first
introduced to it about 3 years ago by a fellow who’s 4 year old
grandson was Homeschooling and in the 4th grade.
