Click's getting older

I'm excited, Click is 10 months old today!!! He's getting so old. We played quite a bit today. Oh and he didn't try to bite me, very exciting. I forgot to take a picture of him with the bunny ears on. But I did get a photo of him, it's just not on the computer yet. I was flipping through pics of him from when I first saw him, and it was so sad to see how much he had grown. When he's full grown, he'll be around 16.2 hands (66") at the withers (right infront of where the saddle goes).

The winter Olympics have arrived. I watched the figure skatting and all that this evening.

You know, it's really neat when God is 100% in control and you know it. That has got to be like the coolest feeling ever. These last few days, I've really felt like there was nothing to be afraid of and God was incontrol. Which makes me think of that song Let Go by Barlow Girl. Really neat song for those who don't already know that. =)

Psalm 50:11

Psalm 50:11
I know every bird in the mountains,
and the creatures of the field are Mine.

That verse has been rather comforting to me the last few days. It reminds me that God knows what is going on with Harley, and He is in control.
Other news:
umm.... Click and Roxie (my dog) and fence buddies, meaning they run along the fence and jump around together. It's really cute. Dancer gained 20 lbs!!! *does the happy dance*. I played Pit tonight. For those who have no clue what that is, you do a lot of screaming and dinging of a bell.
I drove our avalon around today!!! That was way to cool. I got to back it up, and turn it around, drive up the driveway, back it back down the driveway and park it!!! It was the first time I've ever driven a car without sitting on someones lap. It was really super cool. I think I'm getting the hang of it (yah right). I wish they wouldn't make the seats so far down. When I was looking behind me to back up, I could hardly see behind me. I'll have to work on that one.
It's impossible to find a decent formal dress at discount stores in size small. Which really stinks. I guess I'll have to keep looking.
Click broke my watch and I'm feeling really crippled without it. Must get a new one soon. Actually, I'm kinda glad he broke it. When it would beep everytime it was a new hour, it sounded like a car had run over it. lol My wrist feels rather bare without it.
Thank You those who are praying for Harley. Ya'll don't know how much that means to me.

News

Big news! I got a new mattress. lol It's really nice and firm. Drew said my mattress was girly. Whatever , it's a mattress. Monroe, my cat (known as pretty kitty), killed a squirrel. It was rather a shock to me, 'cause my cat never does anything that requires to much effort. He had to have help to catch his last mouse. And my cat is not that fat! I'm going to be having the vet and farrier out sometime nexted week. Harley has some swelling on the side of his face, and the bone feels like something is wrong compared to the other side of his face, plus he hasn't healed from the strangles he had. It's not pretty. I can't wait till Click is 2 years old.

It's Monday again. The begining of another school week. Thursday I was told I was going to spend the night at my aunt's house then get picked up by friends. I love spending the night at my aunt's house. It's so much fun. Queen sized beds rock lol. Friday morning I got up, played with my cousin, ate breakfast and went to the docters office with my cousin. My cousin (3 years old) had to have her yearly check-up. That lasted till, I don't know, it was forever. Did you know that some docter's offices have teen waiting rooms? That was strange to me. My poor cousin had to get 4 shots. She was such a brave little girl.

Then we went back to my aunt's house and I got picked up by a really awsome family and taken to a barn where my best friend boards her horse. We hung out there playing with the horseys for about 3 hours. We got picked up from there and taken to my friend's house. We got ready for the Bible study and ate dinner.

We studied Numbers 10:1-10 which was about the silver trumpets and how they were used. And I there was something that was said that which really made sense, but my mind just went blank. I'll have to ask my friend about that if I don't remember. I forgot to bring a notebook, so I didn't have anythign to write on.

That night, my friend and I had a complete makeover. It was so much fun. We watched The Sword and the Rose and My Fair Lady. I fell asleep before it ended. Later that morning when we woke up, we got ready to go to my house. And after a very long drive, we made it to my house.

I ment to play twister while they where here! That would have been fun. Oh well. I couldn't have really played, I would have been taking pictures of everyone and spinning the thingy. But anyway, We played Apples to Apples, and if you've never played it, you are missing out on something fun. I really can't wait till we get a whole deck of blank cards so we can fill in whatever we want too.

I think that's all. Oh yah, Click was being really cute today. That's it.

Georgia Hold'em (another game that my siblings have created)

I had a riding lesson today. I love flat work. There's nothing like the feeling your incontrol of your mount. I rode Dancer bareback yesterday and he rocked. I can't believe I have to sell him. It's really sad.

Me and my siblings where playing this game this evening that Kay and Drew made-up. I ran up to the barn when I was being chased, and I turned on the hose and soaked Garrett. Then he grab the hose from me and I took off. I only got a little wet, but Garrett was soaked. It was so funny. I'm so mean. During that game, I hidout in the hay ring. Click loves to bite anything that is below him. So I was fighting him off the whole time I was there. Then I ended up becoming the Cop so I had to go back down to the house and hide the 2 flags and wait for the others to hide. I really don't like wondering around in the dark looking for people. Because I just know somebody is going to jump out at me and scare me half to death.

Happy New Year!!!

You know, despite the fact that this year hasn't gone the way I want it to already, I'm am very blessed. I am breathing, I have a Heavenly Father who loves me enough that He knows how many hairs are on my head, and I've have been blessed with an awsome family and awsome friends. Oh and I have a 2006 look, my hair is now about the length of my brother's hair, I did want it a little longer, but this will have to work I guess. Before, when I'd would put my hair in a ponytail, it would hurt my head, so I decide it was time to cut some of it. I wanted it about an inch below my shoulders, but it's just a little shorter then that. Other then the fact it's kinda embarressing to have hair the same length as your brother, I'm going to be okay with it. Harley is 30 years old as close as I can figure. I made him a birthday cake today and gave him a good grooming. I hope he had a good birthday.

I got to see them!!!

I got to go see The Chronicles on Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe today!!! It was great. I really liked it. Drew, Garrett, and I are going to go see it again tomorrow some time. We have these passes that expire by Dec 31, 2005, which would be in 3 days. Drew is reading The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe tonight and I'm listening to the audio tapes. We are going to be picking that movie to shreads tomorrow. I hope Garrett doesn't mind, but he was asking where the book was today, so I guess it will be okay. Mom, Kaylin, and I all got to see P&P yesterday. It was okay I guess. I like the A&E version a 100 times better though. Even that doesn't compare to the book. One of the movie trailers that they showed before the movie started today was for PotC 2. I can't wait to see that!
I had a pretty good Christmas this year. I got this really pretty trunk. I think Dad and Mom want me to use it in the barn for things. Oh and I got Another Journal Entry! Barlow Girl's new CD! I really didn't expect my parents to buy me a CD. Kaylin got a pogostick. It really wears her out. Oh Drew gave me a bag of M&Ms. He wrap this really big box that had several chains and a my old broken CD player to weigh it down. So the box weighed a lot. Inside was sitting 2 bags of M&Ms, one for Kay and the other for me. Drew did love his captain crunch. Next year I'll have to get him Chocolate milk....

It's a beautiful evening!

Wow tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Time goes by way to quickly. I'm sick and my voice sounds like the female version of Darth Vadar right now. There was a memorial service for my aunt yesterday aswell. It was really nice. Drew and Garrett played a song for it. There was one song that we sang all together, and I could not make the words come out right. I sounded so bad. After that, we went over to my other aunt's house for a few minutes to drop off some things. I picked up my horse medicines that I had left there. Then we went over to a friends house and I had a blast. That was so much fun. The only down part of it all, was that my voice sounded so bad.

Today was the first day that we didn't have extra people in the house. I did not feel like getting out of bed this morning. My throat was killing me. I haven't felt like doing much today.
Harley is being way tomuch of a brat these days. I love that horse.

Oh yah, I went to the Georgia Aquarium Wednesday. It was awsome! I stuck with Dad most of the time. He liked looking then leaving. That's the way I like it. Everyone else was either going to fast or far to slow.

I read this thing on the Purity Forums that somebody posted. It really made me stop and rethink some stuff. It was this story of how everyone celebrated Jesus's birthday, but nobody wanted Jesus to be there in their celebrations. It was like they had shut the door on Him. It made me think of how I've done that many years. I get so wrapped up in the "Christmas spirit" that I forget why we are celebrating Christmas. I refuse to let that happen this year.

Vets, horses, and Christmas presents, OH NO! lol

The vet came out today! Happy about that. Harley does have strangles for sure. But the vet said that if you have to have it, what Harley has is the kind you want. Harley can now be turned into the upper pasture by himself. This is a very good thing, 'cause he HATES his stall. He has been really good about it though.
Other news:
I'm sick right now. Or rather I'm getting over whatever I have. I still sick though. Aurora, my cousin, is throwing up sick and Grandma ain't doing to good either.
I'm going to see some of my cousins that I never get to see tomorrow! We are all going to the aquarium. Loads of fishies.
Drew got me something for Christmas! When was the last time he ever did something like that? It's a big box whatever it is. The present is really for me and Kaylin. That's okay though. HE STILL GOT ME SOMETHING!!! I'm just under a little shock right now.
I think that's all for now... Oh yah I'm going to go see my best friend in like 2 days! I can't wait. Hold on there was something else too... Can't think of what it is. Oh well I guess I do more typing later.

Egg nog or hot chocolate? Hot Chocolate

Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa (Daddy), I don't think does very much of the wrapping, but Mrs. Clause (Mom) and her assistent (me) do.

Colored lights on tree/house or white lights? We always use colored lights for our tree.

Do you hang mistletoe? No, but I almost asked Mom to pick up some while she was in France, because you walk out the door and it's like hanging from every tree.

When do you put your decorations up for Christmas? Sadly, we don't a set day, week, or even month that we set up our tree which is when we do all the other Christmas stuff.
What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Pumpkin Pie
Favorite holiday memory as a child? I thought to most people I still was a child. I think so far my favorite memory was when we (my family) all have to sit through Drew taking forever to open a gift.

When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I think I figured it out when I was 4. I saw Mom and Dad walking past my room with gifts.

Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No, not normally.

What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? None. Sorry Santa!
Snow! Love it or dread it? Depends on my mood

Can you ice skate? Yes it's so much fun!

Do you remember your favorite gift? I think my favorite gift will be given to me this Christmas. It's from my brother Drew, who has never bought me a gift for Christmas. (he said I was easy to buy for)

What's the most important thing about the holidays for you? Being with family and watching them open their gifts.
What is your favorite holiday dessert? Pumpkin Pie

What is your favorite holiday tradition? Getting up early in the morning and waking up the boys (that's right it's the boys not Dad and Mom).
What tops your tree? Up until this year, it's been an angel, but now it's a star.

Which do you prefer: giving or receiving? Giving. It's somuch fun to slave over what in the world you are going to get somebody.
What is your favorite Christmas carol? White Christmas or Silent Night.

Candy canes! Yuck or yum? Yum onf course! My horses would agree with me too.

MOM IS BACK!!!! (just a little thrilled about that)

Mom's back. She brought my cousin and uncle with her. My grandparents are also staying with us. So our house is packed. Harley has strangles and has to stay in his stall all the time for the nexted 3 days, then the vet is coming out and going to find out if Harley has a bone infection. It's all not pretty. I went to the game club today, and it was great to be around people who you don't really have to worry about saying something dumb. It was nice to get out and have a fun time. Not like I don't enjoy my home. I love my family, but sometimes it's nice to be around other girls who are there to have fun and laugh, and that's just what I needed. I feel ready for anything now. Or maybe that was the chai latte. I got Dad's present like Tuesday. I decided to get him a picture frame and put a really nice picture of the two of us in it. I bought Drew's gift today, Captain Crunch. And if it doesn't bring back fun memories, I don't know what will. I baby sat my cousin Wednesday evening. She is so easy. She likes does everything herself. She got this "electric guitar" (barbie) and she was holding it just like any rockstar would. It was so cute. Drew got an electric guitar! It rocks! I really need to do some scrapbooking. Mom bought me atleast two gifts today while we where out and about. One of them was something she wasn't planing on getting me. She wasn't going to get it, but it was the last one they had. And I have no clue what it is. She handed me the keys and said to go sit in the car. All my horses have a stall now! I finally cleaned out one of the other back stalls in my barn. It really wasn't that bad. Dancer likes it. Well dinner is smelling good, yet it's not done yet, I don't think. I better check on that.....

Why is there so much pain and suffering in this world?

I thought this was pretty good way of answering this question:

This is a pretty good explanation, by analogy, why God allows pain and suffering. A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and is beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, The barber: I don't believe that God exists. The customer: Why do you say that? The barber: Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things. The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw aman in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber's shop again. The customer: You know what? Barbers do not exist. The barber: How can you say that? I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you! The customer: "No! Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside. The barber: Ah!, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me. The customer: Exactly! That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.

My aunt, who lives in France, has been fighting cancer for the last 4 years. Yesterday, her body gave-up the fight. I can only imagine what my uncle is going through. My Mom hopped a plane to France yesterday evening with her brother. My 6 year old cousin figured out that her mother had died and she had a fit and I think she cried herself to sleep. My grandparents have been visiting us and are leaving to France tomorrow. So it's been really crazy at my house lately. Other news, I had my first dressage lesson today. It was awsome. Umm... Drew is getting and electic guitar. He's really excited. Garrett is currently making a violin. It's coming along nicely. Kaylin has an Irish Dance thingy going on tomorrow. Dad needs the Christmas brake that is coming up. That's going to be sweet. Click is getting a little big for his britches. Harley is so funny. And I'm hoping to have Dancer sold by Christmas. We are getting our Christmas tree Saturday. It's very exciting! I've got to go feed my boys (horses).

School started back up today. I discovered I was behind. Not good. So I'm working on getting caught up. I've got a horrid headache. And I need sleep. I got to eat dinner tonight. That was exciting. Usually I'm to much in a rush to bother. The play I'm in takes up a lot of my time. Our first performance is Thursday. We have 5 performances all together. 2 of them are on Saturday, one at 2:00 and the other at 7:30. Christmas is coming, and I still have no clue as to what to get my Dad. I had to think of something new to get my Mom after she went out and bought slippers, which was what I was going to get her. My sister, Kaylin, is taken care of, so is Garrett. I still have to buy Drew's present. At least I know what I'm getting him (chocolate). I bought him a CD in like September, and I couldn't wait till Christmas to give it to him, so he got it early. I have to say, I really bought the CD for me, but I could buy 2 CDs for myself in 2 months. So I gave it to Drew. It was the TobyMac CD Diverse City. I love it. I'm listing to Third Day right now. It's their newest CD, Wherever You Are. The first song is really cool. It's called Tunnel. When I was up at my barn, I played Wherever You Are, and I knocked the repeat button, so I listen to Tunnel like 5 times before I finally figured out that the song should have finished a long time ago. It was funny. Anyway, I need to get going.

School seems to take up a lot of time these days, that and horses. Click is 6 months and a half old now. Dancer is still not sold. Harley is, well, being Harley. When I fed tonight, Click bit my arm. Eww I got mad. He was in trouble, and he knew it. So I hope he doesn't try that again. I think I'll get another foal nexts year. I'm a little behind in math. Just a little.

My little sister's birthday is coming up. Oh no! That means yesterday was my aunt's birthday! And I didn't send her a card. That means I get to send a card tonight! If I have someone's e-mail address and know their birthday, then they get a card. It's just one of my things.

I watched a movie Saturday night. It was called Home Beyond the Sun, I think. Really awsome movie. It was about a 19 year old American girl named Jenna, who doesn't know who her real parents are and was adopted at the age of 2. And at the age of 17, her adopted parents died in a car accident. She is in China teaching at a boy's school. She sees this lady walking holding the hand of a little girl who is holding a ribbon and about 6 other girls are holding the ribbon. Anyway, later she sees them again and the last little girl takes her hand and Jenna walks with them to the orphanage. That's where she finds out they are orphans. The lady tries to tell the Jenna that she can't be around them. Jenna ends up making friends with this lady. The lady tells Jenna that she is a Christian and they talk about God. Jenna is a Christian too. This is in a part of China where worshipping God is illegal. Jenna becomes good friends with the little girl that held her hand. The little girl is 8 years old, so nobody wants to adopt her. And theres this scene where a couple comes to adopt a baby, and the little girl brings the baby to the couple. They couple don't say anything or even look at the little girl. It's really a sad bit of the movie, because after the couple leave. Jenna sees the little girl crying. Jenna takes the little girl in her arms and asks why she is crying, and the little girl says, "Nobody wants me. They only want the babies." I was in tears. It was an awsome movie. The little girl ended up getting adopted by a family from Jenna's church, and Jenna finds out that she is the daughter of the little girls new parents. So Jenna and the little girl are sisters. It was a neat movie.

Mom's been making a lot of yogurt lately. The other day it turned out like a yogurt drink lol. It tasted good though. Today it turned out like yogurt and still tastes good.

I recently auditioned for a play called, The Last Christmas Carol. It's a twist on The Last Christmas Carol. I got a part as a Various Child . Oh well. At least they director's will get to know me and maybe next time I'll get a bigger role. So far I'm not doing anything.

I've been reading Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot. Really awsome book. I've also been reading The Hope Chest: A Legacy of Love by Rebekah Wilson. Another cool book. I've started on my own hope chest, just don't have a chest. I have a set of 4 blue and white dishes. I decided I want blue and white dishes for my future house. So mom and I are picking them up different sets as we see them at garage sales. Another book I'm reading for my online class is The Golden Goblet by Eloise Jaarvis Mcgraw. I read it back in like 6th grade. It's a neat book too.

I think that's all for now.
