I finished reading Tomorrow! It was very very good and definitely makes you think twice before PROCRASTINATING. It's funny but I have been getting a lot more things done in a timely manner since finishing the book. The book is about Basil Lowe and his not-so-bad-at-first habit of procrastinating. He is given some amazing opportunities, seems like one of the luckiest people in the world and is born with some incredible talents! You would think he has all the factors to become very successful for his time, but he just can't seem to break "his habit." At times I wanted to scream into the book and say "No! You can't wait until tomorrow!" when really I should be telling that to myself because I am guily of some of the same things. He is given one more chance to redeem himself; even after all of this he can still have a happy ending! The evil monster of procrastination starts to ataack him once again, but whether or not he slays it this time, you will have to find out. I will tell you though that the last paragraph was the most surprising part of the whole book.

Well, I believe 'tis time for a new entry. It has been very busy around here. We finally got my wheel set up yesterday! After Providence on Friday we went shopping for some clay and a secret item for a surprise for a certain someone and Mrs.G came along with us so it was lots of fun.

My classes are all going well. My Psychology professor is really cool even though his worldveiw is quite skewed. He is right about many things on so many levels but psychology just can't put all the pieces together without acknowledging a Supreme Being. More on that in another entry though. Nutrition is going well but some things about the class are very frustrating. I like the subject material very much though so that makes up for the frustration. Then there is Entomology which is probably the most fun of all of them. The professors are hilarious and really love the subject. Our first test is later this month so we'll see how well I'm actually retaining the information then. One thing is for sure, I will never look at a bug the same way again!

In other news we have a conference to work at for Lamlighter! All four of us are going and it's going to be just us in charge of the Lamplighter table. I can't wait! It is going to be very exciting! I have a lot of reading to do before hand though!

I must depart now. There is homework waiting for me.

I had a wonderful time at the homeschool conference this past weekend! I ended up working almost the whole time with the Lamplighter Publishing table. It was so much fun. Being surrounded by some of the most beautifully bound and written books, working with amazing people, and getting to (here's what I liked the most) talk to people about these books for hours on end! It's like you're introducing them to a new friend and you pray that every person that meets one of these knew friends will be impacted in a way that will bring them closer to God... And most of the time they do.

I just made a really neat discovery. I can post Japanese characters in entries and comments! So, let's see what I can remember... こんにちわ！That means good afternoon. Anyway, I got my hair cut on Thursday. I took off a whole five inches! I know that's not a lot, but it does make a difference. Other than that I haven't been up to much. Apparently quite a few people from the WCT have been a little bit under the weather since the activity. A lot of people from the activity, me being one of them, have caught a bug that's been going around. Or, it could be the large amounts of pollen that have been circulating through the air.

In my skimming around wikipedia, I found this, a spoonerism generator. I like to morph words, and spooerizing words is my favorite method of doing so. Go a head and try the spoonerism generator! Before you know it you'll find yourself woonerising spords like an expert poonerizing sperson!

Well, I suppose I should update sometime. I made blog on this site a really really long time ago and forgot the passwprd. Unfortunately the e-mail address that I used to register for that blog is no longer. So a few weeks ago I made this one and I just haven't gotten around to updating it yet. Now I am...

Last weekend we had the Wing Cadet Training (WCT) at Wing HQ. It went very well. If I remember correctly, there were 58 Cadets, 14 Senior members and 66 o-rides. The cadet executive staff (Weeks, Zac and I) all worked well together wich made things a lot easier. It was amazing, and with the exception of a medical emergency that is now on its way to recovery, it went off without a hitch.

One cadet even conquered his fear of heights at the WCT. He went on his first o-flight on Saturday and, while still in the air, realized that he was extreamly afraid of heights. After landing, he was very shaken and definitely glad to be on the ground. After he calmed down a little and we all talked to him for a while, he returned to his flight (The AE flight). The next day though, he informed us that he wanted to try it again! So he went up again and actually enjoyed it! Not only did he go up one more time, but he went up twice after his first not-so-good flight. It was one of the coolest things when after he landed, he found me, gave me a hight five and said "I did it!" That whole experience helped remind me why I'm still in CAP. I was once just as scared as him when I had to jump out of the jump tower and go through the obstical course at Ft. Bragg. But there were some awsome SMs and cadet staff that were right there helping me though it all and eventually I faced my fear. Because of that whole ordeal I can help cadets in the same position, and that is truly one of the most rewarding things ever. I can't wait until the next WCT!

Believe it or not, I did not have the camera with me, but I do have a few pictures that Zac sent to me. Here is a picture of me, one of the flight commanders and Weeks in the background later on Sunday afternoon. By this time we were all rather faitgued (and you know what a symptom of fatigue is... Slap happiness!) and ready to go home.

I just had English/Grammar and Creative Writing classes today (not my favorite subject in the world) so I'm a bit paranoid as far as punctuation, split infinitives and other random grammar rules. Please don't critique too harshly... ;)
