So long, fair well, Auf weidersehn good-bye!

As you have probably guessed from the title of this post, I'm leaving HSB.

For almost a year, I've struggled to keep my blog updated, I've just lost interest in it, and what is the point of having something if I'm not interested in it or it's upkeep?

Those I'm closest to here on HSB I have other means of keeping in touch with, and shall try my very best to do.

So, I bid you all a very fond fair well.

Rest Assured I have not fallen off the face of the earth my friends!

No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, just the face of the blogshpere!

UPDATE TIME!

It's been two months since Christmas and I have just now had my Christmas tree removed from my blog, (Thank you Becca !)

We are still in the process of looking( sort of) for some place closer to our family to move to. Not much luck. There are people who I will really miss and others whom I won't (maybe that's the wrong attitude but it's true and admitting it's the first step.) and I won't have to leave any of my blog friends behind because the computer's coming with us! YAY!

Mom put her back out a couple weeks ago, but is doing much better, thanks to the chiropractor!

On to the more trivial.

I dyed my hair the sometime the middle part of January, and it didn't quite come out the way I'd hoped. I had a friend do it who hasn't dyed hair in years, and thus as a result most of the dye ended up on the top of my head instead of evenly spread (and the color wasn't exactly what I'd wanted). Fortunately, I don't think it took well because it's almost back to it's normal color, and the next time I have the money I'm going to get something just a tad darker and try it again!

My aunt sent me video with the most stupid song I've ever heard with a slide show of her cats (also known around here as her kids) Cheyanne and Jasmine! Some of the pics are kinda cute like the one of Jazzy curled up in the bathroom sink, some of them are just pictures, but cute none the less.

Umm......

Oh did I mention I'm only posting because Momma suggested I should? Otherwise nobody may of heard from me for a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very long time!

Hope all is going well for everyone!

Blessings,
Thank yous!

Virtual thank you's for the presents left under my tree.

Momma- the pretty red sports car. It's as close to actually owning one as she'll let me get. She says it's the safest car I'll ever own.

Becca- POTC 3. Thank you very much. I'm hoping to buy it in real life sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Danielle- Though she did not leave her name she made the mistake of telling me she left me a present, thanks for the Chia Pet. Mom says that's the sorta thing you'd leave.

Deanna- the Frappichino, must make sure I have that have my daily caffiene intake.

I can't really send myself a thank you note although, in today's world, I probably could but I'm not going to. Yes I left myself presents. I do crazy things like that from time to time.

Thank you all for the presents, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Blessings!
Our new favorite quote around here

The new favorite quote around here is this.

"Mouse trap. I wanted to play Moustrap.
You role your dice you move your mice. Nobody gets hurt."

~Bob the tomato~

For some strange reason we have been quoting this over and over for the past couple of days.

Who knows???
Do not put phone in the microwave oven as it may cause the battery to explode and holiday kickoffs.

For my sweet sixteen this week, I recieved a cell phone from my father.

Now this was perfect, there can no longer be any miscommunications between my mother and myself when I'm not at home any more.

Well while reading through the user's manual, rule number 2: Never place phone in microwave oven as it may cause the battery to explode.

Strange huh???

Now, holiday kickoffs.

When and how do you all begin the holidays???

The official holiday season around here begins with my birthday on Nov. 14. closely followed by Thanksgiving, then Christmas, and New Year's and then finally my mother's birthday.

When and how do you start the holidays????

Blessings,

~Liz~

Who puts their cell phone in the microwave any way???????

And the answer is...drum roll please!....

First off, thank you so much to all of those who prayed with us and for us during this time!

And second of all, the reason we are not moving is we (mom was very not pleased with the landlord but that wasn't the deciding factor) found out some very scary, disgusting, horrifying and all around creepy things about the man my grandfather's age who live 0.51 miles from the house. And mom decided that it would not be wise on her part to knowingly mover herself and her children into a situation like that.

Thanks so much once again for your prayers!

Blessings,

If you would all please pray with us!

If you would all please pray with us. My mom went and looked at a house while we were away this weekend visiting family that's 2.2 miles from my aunt and a half hour away from my grandfather (which is far closer than the two hours away we are now).

We've been praying for a long time that God would show us where He wants us and we think this house might be it.

It's within our price range, it's close to family, it has three bedrooms, etc....

If you would all pray with us as we go through the process of trying to figure out if this is really where God wants us that would be wonderful!

Thanks so much in advanced. And I will keep you posted as I know more!

Blessings,
Holler!

Now, hopefully the title intrigued you.

My little bro. is learning to read this year. The other day he was reading to mom from one of his books and he couldn't figure out what the word was (yell) , so I told him he said. No big deal right???

Well a few minutes later he came across the word again, paused a moment and the said "Holler!" and kept going.

Well needless to say he got the what the word ment if nothing else!

Do your kids/siblings ever come up with stuff like that???

Blessings,

I think..We homeschool!

I think we homeschool.

Yesterday afternoon we were watching a DVD when mom noticed that MattMann had it set so that the actors were talking in Spanish. Well mom can't speak Spanish so she had him change it to French (which she understands a little).

Well all of a sudden the woman doing the singing in the back ground comes on singing in English, the people are speaking in French and the subtitles we have just realized are set to be in some Asian language (take your pick of Korean, Chinese, or Thai, they all look the same to me!)

Well mom and I had a good little laugh over that one and I though it would make good blog fodder.

So there you go. That's what's been going on in my neck of the woods. What's going on around yours?

Blessings!
