Time to feel like the old man....

Sorry I've been off in la la land again, but its a bit hard to keep track of everything I have going on.

Congrats to Madeline :) I do know the fedore's a bit although I though he was the quite one (unless I totally remember wrong which is usually true in my old age). Best of luck to your future though :)

With 21 years old only 2 weeks and 2 days away I get the feeling I'm way to career oriented.

Oh well good to know you young'ns are having a ball ;)

Alive! Yes really I am <_<

My apologies for not saying anything sooner, but I've been marginally sleep deprived lately (getting an average of 3-5 hours of sleep a night oh joy education!)

I'm swamped in homework, but somehow manage to keep A's in all four of my classes so far :P Almost time for midterms though so cross your fingers :D

Apparently I owe both Madeline and Alexandra a detailed email (yes, I'm capable, just not good at making time for it during the day x.x). It will come though....soon hopefully lol

So yeah I finally remembered this blog thingy....<_<

My apologies for the extend disappearing acts I seem to perform so well.

First off in relation to the long time of not posting I'd like to inform you, that as of last Saturday finals are over and school is done for 2 weeks! Finals are always the worst and most time consuming of the 11 weeks on our quarter.

Secondly that means I actually have a little bit of a summer "break" for a change. I plan to enjoy it with lots of bowling outings :D

So how fairs all of you ladies (and gentlemen if anyone's dad wants to say hi :P) ....btw sided tracking, but Hannah tell little ben hello for me :P Although by now he's probably not little anymore.

Alexandra, I may be good with some computer things but even that puzzled me. I'm a visual person, so I'd usually have to see what is being affected before offering advice :P

Life is slowly going back on track...

So it seems every time I get on here I'm saying sorry for not talking in a while. Well this time I had some pretty good reasons. First off I've been sick on and off for the last few weeks. Secondly its half a week (if you can call today and friday that) till finals week and the y end of school for this quarter. On a more personal note I had been dating a girl from a church in our area (bear with me I know it might sound weird hearing a sap story lol), but after about 3 months she felt too overwhelmed with school and family issues (her aunt and cousin both died within a week of each other) that sadly we reverted to being "just friends". Ah I tell you young'ns love is a tricky emotion (and now I sound old lol), but it isn't for the faint of heart as I've found out.

So there you have it! Love and loss, school and work, coupled with a giant God smack to tell me where my focus should have been all along. I'd appreciate it if you'd keep me n your prayers. It would me a lot to me.
The creature immerges

So there it is my pride and joy :D Just got this car last night actually. My parents drove to Michigan to pick it up and drove it back here to Ohio. Although it is a tad small (clearance on height is maybe 5'8-5'11) when sitting it still makes a really nice car. By the way its 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. We think its a V4 engine, but we haven't really looked in detail yet. it has the ability to seat four by sliding the front seats forward, but I doubt it would be comfortable lol.

As to the rest of things school plugs on with quarter number 3. I'm taking a programing class this quarter which is turning up all sorts of surprise and annoying logic thinking problems.

Seems my dad has to fly around alot more this month, but we're adjusting. Still working my same job, but when the license tags clear on this car I'm thinking of looking for a job a little farther out that might pay more.

Other then these meager updates not much has been going down here. The weather finally climbed past 30 degrees and we got to wear T-shirts today! Funny thing was someone in class told me that it's supposed to get cold all over again next week <_<

Hope you all are having a fine spring season!

Car wreck and a crazy Friday night...

Well I'm pasting this from my facebook so bear with it. This happened to me on Friday the 22nd and the part missing is that it has been evaluated now and is around $5000+ for repairs. In other words it's totaled and I'm looking for an new used car. Also the part about my dad and me waiting for 3 and a half hours for a tow truck has been left out because I forgot in the original. enjoy reading the story :)

Ok just as a FYI around 4:56pm today I was heading to work. Nothing abnormal there right? WRONG! I (being super smart and cautious (yeah right) )tried to zip by on my merry way to work. Little did I know that my van (yes insert silent chuckles here) has almost no traction whatsoever. That being said I found out that God must be trying to get something into my thick skull because I took a corner at the top of a hill and kept on sliding. My dad (having found me laying on the side of the car looking freaked out) said it looked like I slid a couple hundred (yes thats "100+") feet and gone at least 25 feet straight back. Talk about a sliding record for minivans! Thankfully my personal self was alright (except mentally shaken even now), but the car is another story. When I slid I hit a metal barrier (like those dividing highways) and while it stopped my car (thank God) I was thrown around a bit (no airbag collision though) and the car was pretty banged up. I have dents in both passenger side doors and my front bumper (whats left of that slag heap lol) is crunched like an eggshell. My dad thinks its pretty much going to get evaluated and scraped (well I get back some money then it gets scraped). The possibility of a fixed van is slim (and even so insurance now goes up woohoo! :/), so I'm pretty much car-less and relying on parents for transportation. At least on the up and up (if you see one I still don't) I get to go actual CAR shopping soon.

Just goes to show you if your not doing something God's way he'll show you who's boss ;) I know I'm kneeling in prayer more then ever now and I hope you guys will keep me in your thoughts as well.

Time goes on

Well with school clipping along (just getting ready for mid terms of quarter number 2), the job going smooth 4 days a week, and the occasional free moment of time I thought I'd update a little.

My dad is about a year away from retiring (go him!)

My mom is still being the excellent cook/mother/teacher/mentor for us 3 kids still at home

My oldest brother is moving back here from Hawaii (not sure if thats bad or good since we always beat each other up (not always in fun either :( ) ,but he's coming)

My second oldest brother is at another college in the area work on his 3rd year (i.e. junior) and is working toward a MIS (Management Information Systems) degree.

Myself is pretty much list above minus the details that I'm going for a MIS/CIS degree at college.

And my lil' sister. Not much to say there except she's plugging along in homeschool and piano lessons.

Now that you got my news for the next year...lol Maybe I'll update it if anything exciting happens

Happy birthday to all whose I missed (I never was good at memorizing dates (not sure if I knew the b-days personally anyhow), especially in History >_<) Have a good weekend!
Prayer Needs

Just an update to those outside of our local area. There were some pretty serious needs that arose in our church over the last two Sundays.

First was a girl named Sarah Linhardt. I'm not sure if any of you met her, but her sister anna went to summer camp and a few YR's. She has a disease called brittle bone disease and is also confined to a wheel chair. She just recently moved out of her house to go to college at Taylor Uni. Seems she had a really bad fall at school (out of the wheel chair is the speculation till we hear from the parents) and broke both of her legs. Her parents found this out Sunday afternoon and rushed to meet her at the hospital. As far as we know they only had to operate on one leg to reset it for casting. With her brittle bone disease though its really easy for her to break any major bone on her body.

Please keep both her and her family in prayer as they go through this especially hard time.

P.S. Also pray for her older brother Daniel as he has chosen to publicly abandon the faith and go his own way. Pray for his return to salvation and for God to help comfort his parents as they cope.

Lastly our first pastor (Mike Frangipane(sp?) ) came down with a pretty bad cold and has been seeming to get more health issues after he retired as our pastor. Please keep him in prayer as he struggles to get better (He's over the major cold, but still recovering to full strength).

Thanks alot!
