OK, like I don't know what the problem is,but it's not letting me down load any pictures.It's showing up not enough space.So hopefully Sunday after church a friend will show me some stuff.I'm a gal that needs hands on training.LOL

Our Pastor wrote this for our Women's Ministry cook book.
1.God is number one...and das' All
2.Don't pray to nuttin or nobody...jus' God.
3.Don't cuss nobody... specially da Good Lord.
4.When it be Sunday... pass yo'self by God's House.
5.Yo mama an' dun did it all... lissen to dem.
6.Killin' an' fish, das' ok...people - No!
7.God done give you a wife... sleep wit' jus' her.
8.Don't take nobody's boat...or nuttin, else.
9.Don't go wantin somebody's stuff.
10.Stop lyin,..yo tongue gonna fall out yo mouth.

Monday Meanderings

I hope everyone had a blessed weekend.I'm taking the day off Monday,so computer time gets done tonight.

Here's what my week looks like.....

Bible study/devotions:Doing a word study on the Fruit of the Spirit and reading Created to be his Helpmeet.

   To Do's:
Monday~ going shopping/pay bills (whoa fun-fun)

Tuesday~ help hubby with the cabinet business.(sand cabinets and get them ready for staining

Wed.~continue on cabinets,and make sure all is in order before church.(twins are in Royal Rangers and I help out in youth.

Thursday~Help hubby change the brakes and put new seat belts on the twin's jr dragsters to be    ready for this weekend.

Friday~get the car trailer packed for the races.I hope to get pictures up soon

Zone's:
Monday~Laundry room / ironing

Tuesday~Bathrooms / Bedding

Wed.~master bedroom /dusting

Thurs.~Kitchen (everyday) clean outside of cabinets / base boards

Friday~living room /dining room

      Train them up:Teach the boys how to clean their bathroom./ We are working on fractions and writing reports in school / help daddy work on the race cars.

Menu:

Monday~Taco's / left over crawfish

Tuesday~Okra and shrimp gumbo

Wed.~Grilled chicken salad

Thurs.~Red beans/rice and pork chops

Friday~Jambalaya-bacon,pork,chicken,andoullie sausage and all the other goodies

Sat.~eggs/bacon/grits/ yes,sometime we like breakfast for supper.

Sunday~Fried oysters

The boys decided last night to complete today's school work so they can have today off.Don't you just love how home teaching allows you to do that.Today is my 16 year olds last day of school (public) they get a week off for Mardi Gras. We home schoolers will not. Well, if you haven't guessed yet,we live not to far from the Mardi Gras capital of the US yes, thats right New Orleans, La.
When I came to know the Lord about 4 years ago,we decided as a family not to do the Mardi Gras scene anymore.So, we have replaced it with doing something else.Mardi Gras day is Fat Tuesday.So we will get together with friends from church and boil some crawfish.We Cajuns just loves us some crawfish.Well off to the library to return overdo books.Everyone have a very blessed weekend.

Busy Day

Today the twins have five lessons each.(switched on school house)

    Math- we are working on fractions.

    Lang.- How to write a report.

    Science-The different climates.

     Bible-The life of Joseph.

     History-The Fishing Community.

Today we also have friends from church coming over to eat. I am doing all the cooking,which I love to do.
I am preparing 2 roast stuffed with garlic and a mushroom gravy,mashed potatoes,rice,peas.and for desert I am fixing apple turn overs.yummy...And I still have to get the house guest ready.All in the midst of taking care of the grand baby.I couldn't be more blessed.

OK six non-important things about myself.......

1. I smoke. ( I know its bad for me.trying to quit)

2.I have to suck the heads when I eat crawfish.

3.I twiddle my hair in between my fingers.

4.I have a big gap between my front teeth.(and so do all my boys)

5.I floss 6 or 7 times a day.

6.I love to listen to music real loud when I'm by myself.

We took school off yesterday.This is what we are working on today.

   Lang.-Writing a business letter.

Math-Test on long division

Science-Lesson on farming.

       That will be it for today.I have to baby sit two grand kids. I need to learn how to apply the word no.

As of today,hubby and I have been married 12 years.What a blessing.I think a lot about if we would have stayed together the first time we were together it would have been 26 years. Wow! (Its a long story)Well we decided to go to one of our favorite places (outback steak house)then we went see I Am Legend with Will Smith.We had a very good time.Today,hubby wants to take the family to the car show in New Orleans.Hopefully the rain lets up.Well have to go fix breakfast.Have a blessed day!
