Sonny's Wish Chapter 1: The Wish

Chapter 1

The Wish

When Sonny was just five years old, he had a burning passion for the Lord Jesus Christ; he loved him with all his heart, soul and mind. One day in Sunday school, Sonny learned that God gives everyone a unique talent that should be used for God’s glory, so Sonny prayed that he would someday be given the talent to sing, he would sing for the glory of God, to lead the unsaved to Christ. That night when he was at home he stepped on to the balcony and said “I wish that someday I could be a singer for God’s glory.”

Just then, a shooting star shot across the sky, Sonny knew in his heart that star was in fact a sign from God; he knew his wish was going to be fulfilled.

When his mom came into his room to tuck him in Sonny said to her; “Mommy I prayed to God that someday I would become a singer.”

“Why a singer?” His mom replied. “Because music is very powerful, the wrong kind of music can make us have a bad attitude but the right music can lead us to God and help us serve him better, that and why not praise God? He deserves our praise.” Sonny Replied.

“What was his answer Sonny?” His mother asked.

“I really feel that he said yes to me, as soon as I finished the prayer a shooting star went by, I feel that it was without a doubt a sign from God!” Sonny happily replied.

“Well OK if you say so, we’ll just have to wait and see about that, besides most people can’t sing. I’ll see you in the morning.” Said his mom as she kissed Sonny good night. “I just know it was a sign from God.” Sonny whispered to himself as he fell asleep.

Ten years later

“Time to go Sonny!” His mom hollered from across the hall.

Sonny was so excited to be trying out for the church choir.

Sonny never actually tested his voice so he was a little scared that he would not make it but something inside him told that tonight his wish was going to be fulfilled.

When they were in the car Sonny said to his mom “I just know I’ll make it tonight.”

“Oh, what makes you say that Sonny?” His mom asked.

“Because of the shooting star that God sent ten years ago as of today.” Sonny said with a smile.

“Something tells me that you’ll do just fine Sonny.”

“I just know I will.” Ended Sonny.

Finished early, get ready for chapter 1!

Well it turned out that I finished Sonny’s Wish Early.

The story has 22 chapters and has a strong Christian message that supports multiple Christian beliefs.

I am not a celebrity nor do I ever think that I will ever be offered the road to Hollywood, but I wrote Sonny’s Wish Based off of a wish I made years ago, I am currently in the church choir, but Sonny’s road to fame was far fetched.

This story takes place in the past and ends in the present day, Dean Rivers is known is the President of the Walt-Disney in this story, but the real company president is Robert Iger.

Also, this story never mentions any celebrity’s names but implies some current big name stars.

I am currently writting a story about a fifteen year old boy named Sonny Thompson the story will be titled Sonny's Wish. When Sonny was five he made a wish upon a star that he would someday have a tallent to use for God's glory, ten years later he discovers that he has outstanding singing and acting skills. When Sonny tried out for a Christmas preformance at his church and while he auditioned, he was beaing video taped by the drama director, when the church secretary sent the tapes out, she sent Sonny's to Walt Disney Studios in Hollywood by accident.

So, then Sonny is faced with a decision whether to accept or decline the offer to become a Hollywood celebrity, then he realizes that his long anticipated wish has been fuffilled and decides to take a stand and rise above Hollywood's couruption.

The story is planned to be at least 25 chapters long, I expect to finish it about September of 2009 and have it on this blog no later than Janurary of 2010, I am hoping that this will be the best story that I ever wrote.

Please leave your comments about this story and tell me if you have a cool idea for it, after all I am not even finished with my first revision much less my final revision!

Hope you will like the story check for it about October or November of this year.

Chapter 3

Abby

I noticed that I have described most of the main characters in this story, except for Abby.

Abby is seventeen (almost eighteen) years old, she has long blonde hair and is a healthy weight.

I thought that I also might add this fact about Abby for comedy, her annual salary is a little over $350,000 because she owns the child training center. She has very cheap help because The Wolf is her only worker. For a wolf he is a very hard worker. When she really needs the help, her sister, Chloe, will volunteer sometimes.

Abby decided to place the call and call her sister about El Diablo. Steve and Chloe said that they would let their son go through training and Abby said since she helped out a lot that she would not charge her for her services [If you remember in book one, The Wolf simply replied to El Diablo, “It's really top-secret” when he asked how his parents could afford the courses. The Wolf said this because El Diablo was being nosy and because I could not think of a reason until now so I figured that this would be the official reason until the final revision of the story. [This revision is necessary for the story to be easier for the readers to understand.]

Anyway, Abby sent out the wolf to pick up El Diablo and while she waited she played in the video game room for a little while until the wolf showed up with El Diablo.

Abby also had a secretary who helped her out. She is a 47 year old woman who is a little heavy and she was a very kind and compassionate woman to the children who walked through the door, including El Diablo.

When El Diablo arrived at the child training course center, Abby was confident that he would take no more than two weeks to train, but she had no idea who she was dealing with.

Hi! I am so sorry that I have not logged on in such a long time!

A lot has happened in the past year.

I’ll start with the city of Monkey Town.

You see, we have this city (more like country) that we made up called Monkey Town. (We would have a better name now, but we were monkey "addicts" in 2006.) I was the very first president to ever be elected into office in Monkey Town, but on November 4, 2008 Ian Brown ("Leopard Party") was elected into office.

I lost the “Primary Election”, however, I still had three “Write-In” votes for president, but still lost. I now fill several other political positions including vice president.

This has been deemed legal because “The Constitution of the City of Monkey Town” had no law prohibiting one individual filling more than one position.

Now, on to the REAL stuff! Our beloved pastor, Dennis Smith, resigned from pastoral duty October 23, 2008 (I think it was the 23rd). It has been hard for me to accept our transition of getting a new pastor. He served for 22 long, faithful years. I even now miss him dearly, but am also confident that God has a new plan for our church.

I also very recently joined the church choir and sing as a Tenor. I prayed before making this decision and decided that God was calling me to make this step. I have been in the choir for a few weeks now.

                             You Can Talk?
Beep, beep, beep, went The Wolf's tracking device.
"Target acquired" The Wolf said in his wakie talkie to Abby.
"Perfect." Replied Abby.
"Now just find a way to get him out of his house!" Said Abby.
The Wolf threw a rock at the window, and El Diablo pops out of out of nowhere and shoots after he askes him to be a good kid!
(Not a really good start!)
Then he goes inside and like five minutes later darts outside, raises his voice, and says "MAKE ME A GOOD KID!"
(OK, let me stop the story for a second, you may not beleve me but the wolf took speech recognision classes THAT is the reason he can talk just in case you were wondering.)
Anyway, The Wolf replies, "tell me, what is your name kid?"
(Abby already told him but the bullett wipped half of his short-term memory, including the taste of steak!)
"El Diablo". He replied
The spellbound wolf said, "we have a lot of work to do."

“Whatever he broke we’re really sorry and that Cretin boy will be too.”interrupted Steve.

“Well, your son did not break anything. Anyway, my name’s Abby and I was wondering if you would like to enroll your son in child training courses for two months?”

“Will it make him behave?”

“It has a 100% success rate. We overheard El Diablo saying he wants to be good!”

“Well, how much will it cost?” asked Chloe.

“I will cover it. Don’t worry! If you accept you will also get a free vacation to Hawaii!”

“Sounds good!” said Chloe.

So they enrolled El Diablo. Then, got a call from Mitch’s mother saying that El Diablo stole Mitch’s toy truck. She better not say "good bye" thought Steve.

Chapter 1 Steve and Chloe Diablo

If you read my last book you probably noticed that I never got around to naming El Diablo’s parents! Well (as you may have guessed from the title of this chapter what their names are.) Their names are Steve and Chloe Diablo aka Mr. and Mrs. Diablo. So, Steve and Chloe were talking when the phone rang. It was the school saying “Your son has been suspended from shooting spitballs in class again! Good bye!”

*CLICK* “More like BAD bye.” said Steve. Right when Steve was about to call in El Diablo he heard a loud BOOM! And saw the “dead” wolf and called in El Diablo. “What do you want?” smirked El Diablo.

“If you continue to be bad you will never see your X Box 360 again!” So El Diablo sprinted outside. Steve and Chloe sat on the couch and about 10 minutes later the phone rang. “Is this Mr. and Mrs. Diablo?”

“Yes, it is.”

"Well, your son…."

The Last Battle

“That’s right, I’m Mitch and I’m going to get my revenge on you!”

“But Mitch, breaking your toy truck was an accident”- “You broke ALL my stuff!”

“But Mitch I’ve changed now.”

“I DON’T CARE!” he screamed.

Just then, Mitch held a gun to El Diablo’s parents.

“NOOOO!” shouted El Diablo.

El Diablo used his sword to cut the ropes off.

"Go! I’ll take care of Mitch," said El Diablo.

“You're dead runt!” said Mitch.

He tied up El Diablo and pointed a gun at him.

"You can kill me, but you can’t kill my soul," said El Diablo calmly.

“Whatever!”

CLICK

BOOM!

El Diablo was dead.

“Yes, yes, he’s gone FOREVER!”

Just then, Abby walked in and saw El Diablo dead.

She told his parents. His parents told the police. The police put Mitch in Juvenile Hall.

“At least he is with God now,” said El Diablo’s mom.

Surprisingly everyone from his school came to his memorial service!

From that day on El Diablo would be known as “Nathanial the Great”.

Although he died, he died with honor because he saved several lives.

Abby now works at a school. She teaches Kindergarteners, and every year when she gets a new class she tells Nathanial’s story.

And as for the wolf…. well, he is still improving childrens' behavior.

And telling Nathanial’s story of course!....

Ok, ok! I’ll tell you! Nathanial is still alive!

But his location is unknown.

If he is ever found I’ll let you know!

The Gift

William handed a small book to El Diablo “Here’s a pocket Bible to carry around where ever you go.” Said Will.

“Are you getting something to eat?” asked Will.

“Why do you want something?” asked El Diablo.

“No, I was just wondering why you want to go to that burger place.” said Will.

“Oh I am going to challenge the owner, Bubba.” said El Diablo.

“He is one tough kid. I will help you fight Bubba even though he is a kid he is pretty powerful.” said Will.

So they arrived at the ferry dock and Will asked for a two-way ticket for himself because he did not have a ticket. Then they arrived at The Burger Factory in Seattle, Washington.

“We need a plan.” said Will.

“Let’s outsmart him!” said El Diablo excitedly.

“I brought my pocket samurai sword.” said Will.

“Me too!” said El Diablo.

“I have the perfect plan!” said Will.

“I will go in disguise as an employee and then give you the word by text messaging you on my phone the message will say “NOW” and then you will untie Abby, Nathanial and your parents got it?”

“Got it!” replied El Diablo.

Will ran in, and five minutes later Bubba called El Diablo and said, “I have Will. Now give me the ransom!" *CLICK* NRRRRRRRRR

“Darn it.” said El Diablo “I’ll have to get Abby, Nathanial, Will, and my parents back myself.” said El Diablo.

He ran in, held up his knife - excuse me- sword and said: “HAND THEM OVER NOW!”

“That’s cute kid but guess who I really am...” He pulled off his mask.

"But your--your. --"

"That’s right kid it’s me…."

The Taxi Ride

El Diablo needed some stuff to defend himself from Bubba. So he grabbed his pocket samurai sword, custom-built to fit in his pocket! And he also grabbed his cell phone and $100 for a taxi ride and his jacket. The burger joint was quite a distance away. He remembered his rifle and grabbed it. And then he left. And then 30 seconds later he came back inside and locked the door and then left the building. And then yelled, "TAXI!"

And a taxi pulled up. "Where to?" The driver asked.

"To the local ferry". Said El Diablo.

"I’ll pay in advance." He handed him the 100 dollar bill.

"Would you like change?"

"Keep it."

He started driving then he said "I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name’s William."

"Mine’s El Diablo."

"That’s an odd name." said William.

"You can call me Will for short. aAnyway have you ever heard of Jesus?"

"Yeah some baby born in a manger. Nothing special."

"Jesus is VERY special."

"How?"

"Well, He died for your sins. That means anything you have ever done wrong. If you ask Him to forgive you, He will, no matter what you have done! And if you just ask Him you will go to Heaven!"

"Well, I’m never going to enter Heaven because I used to be really bad! At least I’m perfect now!"

"Nobody is perfect. Only God is. ANYONE can enter heaven no matter what we have done!"

"Pray with me."

So they both prayed this prayer:

"Dear Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner. Please come into my life right now and be my Lord and Savior. I’m sorry for all the sins I have committed. Please forgive me. I want to be a servant for You. Amen."

"Now, I will give you this Bible to read every day. Now when you die you will go to Heaven and be with God forever!”

The Crook

When he woke up that next morning, there was no one in the whole building.

There were several items missing also.

El Diablo noticed a note it said: Dear El Diablo, if you value your X Box, Nathaniel, Abby, your parents, and your life, you will take a ferry to Seattle. I have left a ticket for you to go to Seattle. Do not call 911 I have cut your phone line. I want $12,000 ransom by 5:00 PM OR ELSE you will NEVER see the items and people I just listed (including your money) again. Sincerely, Bubba.

“$12,000! That’s my entire life savings!”(He had an allowance of $200 a month!)

“Oh man this is a pretty big threat...

…Wait a minute! There is a little burger joint and the owner’s name is Bubba!

Let me inventory what he stole….

…. EVERYTHING is gone!”

He had to buy a small breakfast from a café across the street.

Then it hit him he had a cell phone!

He dialed 911 and a recording said: “If you are calling because you were robbed by Bubba, we were bribed—I mean-- we cannot hunt him down.

If this is a different emergency, please stay on the line. Someone will answer your call in 10 seconds.” “Oh great.” Said El Diablo.

Then he hung up his phone.

The Party

El Diablo woke up and the building was completely empty (as far as he knew.)

He thought he heard movement in the conference room.

So he came to the conclusion that someone ate the wolf and was coming to kidnap everyone else and hold them for ransom (like that would ever happen.) He said to himself, when you get to the robber just improvise! (That kid's not too bright.) So he went downstairs with a baseball bat and he walked into the conference room and suddenly he heard.... “ SURPRISE!”

“You guys remembered? I thought there was a robber you scared me half to death!”

“Of course not. Don't be silly! Now eat your cake!” Said Abby.

“ OK! Yum! CAKE!”

Course 9 was Being Grateful. They gave him some not so cool or fun gifts. He was grateful so Abby told him that he passed course 9!

Chapter 6

So El Diablo was about to approach Course 7!

This course was the ‘Honesty’ course.

When he entered the X-Box Room, they asked if he had the game that he was playing. (Wanting to seem cool) he said yes! I do have that game! And out of NOWHERE, there was a huge buzz and flashing red light. What was that?!?!

We implanted a truth chip under your skin so we know when you are lying!

Yeah right! Why are you even asking me if I have this game I don’t even have a X-box!

The system said he was lying. So the wolf being the cheater he is said are you bad no--- ok yes a ‘DING’ played and a green light went on.

Ok so I bought a Nintendo DS Lite with some of my birthday money! The waranty coverage does not apply to accidents (like most warantys coverage dosen't) it covers 'Defects in workmen ship' AKA hardware flaws so my DS had a dead pixel (which spreads over time)

and sent it in.... I got it back and the touch screen flickered to much (which made fuzzy images) so i sent it in AGAIN.... and got a new waranty and new system.They changed the serial number from UG--------0 to UG--------5!

Nintendo is a very friendly company!

(Oh and when you buy the system they scan the serial number and the waranty is active) Just In Case You Were Wondering!

A Bible Verse To Remember.

About a year ago someone in my curch who fought in Iraq (His name was Joseph(Joey) M. Kane) and died. And had his funral. And just today I thought of a verse from the book of John that suits him: "Greater Love Has No One Than This Than To Lay Down His Life For A Friend. John 15:13 Not only did Joey lay down his life down for friends but for the country! Thank You Joey M. Kane!

(By the way Joey was a christan so he is now with God)!
