paper route

I did my brothers paper route for him this morning (don't know why). Stupid move. Up here in North Dakota we got 6 inches of snow yesterday. So basically I'm trudging through snow up to my calves.

The White Sox traded Orlando Hernandez to the D-Backs for Javier Vasquez.

gibberish 101

Breaking news!!! The Yanks offered a contract to Nomar Garciaparra at first base. That would be funny three all-star shortstops in the same infield.

Yankees offered Johnny Damon a contract.

Milton Bradley went to the A's.

Baseball moves

Edgar Renteria has been traded to the Braves( I knew the Red Sox would make a mistake this year). The Sox got the worst of this deal. Luis Castillo of the Marlins is now a Cub( I think). So is his buddy Jaun Pierre.

The Yanks are still quiet. "sigh"

Chess

I play my dad in chess about two times every day. I mean every day. When we first started doing this there was no chance that I would beat him. I now actually have beat him once this year and he doesn't let me take back moves any more. That's a good thing.

Now sports. The Yankees haven't made any big moves at the winter meeting so I'm very dissapointed. The New York Mets on the other hand have signed a truckload of big name players( Carlos Delgado, Billy Wagner, Paul Lo Duca) so I'm very dissapointed. But I'm sure glad that I'm not a Marlins fan right now. They are shipping off all of their players( Delgado, Lo Duca, A.J. Burnett, Josh Beckett, and Mike Lowell). Rafeal Furcal has gone to the Dodgers and thats basically the only other big signing. I will be keeping this blog up to date with the latest baseball moves whether you want me to or not.

Sorry about that

Sorry about that no-blogging period. I was, shall we say, caught up in the holidays. We had relatives come up for the holidays and one of my friends just moved to Japan so I've been distracted. But my mom told me I need to post something so I'm just gonna type about nothing in particular.

On the day after Thanksgiving me, my dad, and my step-grandpa went shopping at 4:30 in the morning. It was early. We went to our BX, Best Buy, and Sears. We spent 40 minutes in a line at Best Buy. That place was packed. Me and my dad both bought 512mb MP3 players for $40. It holds 120 songs and right now I've only got 70 somethin'. I also got a wireless PS2 controller. I'ts pretty cool.

So now I will blog more than once every 3 weeks. See Ya.

Fantasy sports

I am a big fan of fantasy sport games. First the site to play these games is www.Sportingnews.com. Theres basically a sport all year round so I always have teams. I currently have 6 basketball teams, 3 Nascar teams, 2 football teams, and 1 hockey team. My best Nascar team is in first place in it's division and my best basketball team is 4th in its division. I really have fun because I love sports. If you live in North Dakota, Quebec and a few other places you can't get a prize. That's a real bummer for me because I would have made $50 for free last year.

And most of these people are grown ups. Most of it is free(it will say free beside it ); so if you wanna check it out awesome. My user name there is NYRadar.

Babe Ruth baseball

As you know(if you looked at my profile) I love sports. I played baseball in the Babe Ruth league for the first time last year. I made the Grand Forks All-Star team. We had to win a little tournament to get to State. Well, we won.(and we took third in state; dissapointing because we won state last year). Well I got something in the mail today that said I've been inducted into the Babe Ruth hall of fame in Baltimore. Also my profile and picture will be put into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.(I'm not the only won, it's the best players so there's like 100 other people maybe, I don't know) At first I thought it was a joke because it sounded to good to be true. Then I saw that I have to send them a picture of me. I'm still in shock.

Napoleon

I love Napoleon Dynamite!!!(and his sweet dance moves) I just finished watching it( for the 1000th time), but this time I had the commentary on.It's pretty flippin' funny. They say how they made it and Jon Heder(Napoleon) keeps saying the lines. My favorite part is where he throws the oranges at Uncle Rico's van. Anyway, it's an off day tomorrow. I can actually sleep past 7. Tomorrow is Veterans day and all the "school" kids here are off.( I put school in parentheses because I'm not one of them). But now I must depart from this computer and go do something else.

Science experiments

You know how your science experiments never turn out right. I have about 2-3 experiments a week; around 1 works out a week. For example, yesterday I was supposed to "magically" transform salt water into fresh water by using heat and evaporation and all that technical stuff. Well, I "magically" turned salt water into salt water. But I had to taste it to see if it worked. I didn't know it hadn't worked You get the idea. Experiments never work out for me. GOSH.
