<title>Happy Memorial Weekend!</title>
<description>Well my trip from Virginia to Alabama went great.&amp;nbsp; And thank the Lord&amp;nbsp; that it did not rain.&amp;nbsp; I do believe that we all know that tomorrow is Memorial Day.&amp;nbsp; The best thing that we as Christians and Americans can do is thank the ones who have served and are currently serving.&amp;nbsp; These men fought for the country they love and nothing makes them feel happier than a warm thank you.&amp;nbsp;

I pray that we all have a great time with our loved ones this holiday.

<title>The Past Month</title>
<description>

Hello there my fellow bloggers.&amp;nbsp; I am truly sorry about the epic gap since I last posted.&amp;nbsp; I do have a fair explanation for it.&amp;nbsp; Soon after Easter God blessed me with an incredible job opportunity which has kept me busy till now.&amp;nbsp; Right now I'm getting ready for a massive trip to the south!&amp;nbsp; Packing and preparations will consume time like you won't believe.&amp;nbsp; Thursday is when we all head out.&amp;nbsp; Kentucky will be our first stop because we all enjoy seeing my great grandmother who is 93, God bless her.&amp;nbsp; Then late Friday night we will start for Alabama where I lived in my early childhood.&amp;nbsp; On May 27th I will be heading to the TeenPact National Convention in Dayton, TN.&amp;nbsp; It is my first time and I will run for Representative.&amp;nbsp; Please keep me in prayer that I will be a blessing and challenge to others and for a time of sweet renewal in my life as well as all campers and my family.&amp;nbsp;
And that&amp;rsquo;s about it. Drama classes are over for the year. I'm done with Math and still have a few more subjects to finish up.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;My pastor gave me the leading role in our VBS skits as a penguin.&amp;nbsp; YES I have always wanted to be one.&amp;nbsp; I know I&amp;rsquo;m all about Star Wars but I have to admit that 2009&amp;rsquo;s Star Trek was sweet.&amp;nbsp; Wolverine was the best X-men movie yet and Terminator is right around the corner. I tell you what; God has been such a tremendous blessing to my family and me.&amp;nbsp; My father couldn&amp;rsquo;t be any happier with being back with the State Police, my mother and sisters are doing wonderful and I have lost track of how many things God has done with my life lately.&amp;nbsp; God in heaven is my saviour, protector, shepherd, teacher and best friend.&amp;nbsp;
I'll see you all in two weeks!

<title>My King is Risen!!</title>
<description>

Happy Easter everyone!&amp;nbsp; I hope that all of you have a great day.&amp;nbsp; And just to let you know, I am having an awesome Easter so far.&amp;nbsp; I have a great church to go to, a wonderful family and best of all, a King who died and rose again for me.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;rsquo;m not sure what the rest of the day holds but I guess I am going to find out.&amp;nbsp;
Here&amp;rsquo;s a picture of my family and I.
&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
Quote of the Day
1st Corinthians 15: 17-19 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

<title>Walking the Streets of Romania</title>
<description> ROMANIA!!!!&amp;nbsp; Being a missionary was the best thing to ever did. &amp;nbsp;I loved it with all my heart. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I lived there for so long that my friends there almost seemed to be blood related.&amp;nbsp; I inhaled every moment of joy and adventure in Romania.&amp;nbsp; God was always there in the bad and good times.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I can remember to this day walking on the streets of Romania. First I would grip the hard and cold metal knob that was on the door that led outside.&amp;nbsp; I then shut the door behind me breathing in the summer air and then started down the following steps.&amp;nbsp; I trotted towards the gate which had another door and on the other side of the gate was our street.&amp;nbsp; After I exited the courtyard, I turned to lock the gate&amp;rsquo;s door.&amp;nbsp; My eye then shifted to the right seeing that a few neighborhood buddies of mine were dying to play basketball with me.&amp;nbsp; I told them I had to walk to the corner store to purchase some bread, soda, milk and chips for lunch and that I would play when I returned.&amp;nbsp; I then embarked on my long journey to the corner store.&amp;nbsp; Three minutes later I walked into the tiny shop looking for the desired items on the list as I waited in line.&amp;nbsp; Finally I was next. I told the very friendly lady everything that I needed, paid her the money and wished her a happy day.&amp;nbsp; As I got closer to the street that intersected the one I had to get to, a huge transportation truck drove right in front blowing all kinds of gasses in my face. &amp;nbsp;I then took a look in both directions for any oncoming cars.&amp;nbsp; Even though it was a clear I sprinted across the road.&amp;nbsp; Walking back home was always difficult for me then because I didn&amp;rsquo;t have the arms I have now.&amp;nbsp; It was because I had to carry a bag full of bread, milk and chips and in the other hand I had a couple of two liters of soda.&amp;nbsp; I would have to stop every 4 yards to reposition the drinks in-between my little fingers. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I would occasionally see a little kitten running around with 5 others or maybe worse, getting chased by a stray dog.&amp;nbsp; (If I ever mention I don&amp;rsquo;t like dogs at all, you will know why. Stray dogs were everywhere, always on the prowl.)&amp;nbsp; There was this one time I saw a goat eating weeds in the cracks of the side walk.&amp;nbsp; And speaking of sidewalks, they all looked like they were left there from World War II.&amp;nbsp; That being said, if I was given a dollar every time I tripped because of the bad sidewalks, I&amp;rsquo;d be a millionaire.&amp;nbsp; Once I arrived at my final destination I unlocked the gate, ran into the kitchen putting the newly purchased items down, I ran back outside of the gate with my basketball ready to play.&amp;nbsp; Walking in Romania was a ton of fun.&amp;nbsp; I not only walked to the small store but everywhere; the mall, the beach, bowling and to a friend&amp;rsquo;s house. Well I hope this was a fun story for you.&amp;nbsp; Please leave any questions and I&amp;rsquo;ll be more than happy to answer to my best ability. <title>Permission vs. Forgiveness</title>
<description>

We have all heard the saying, &amp;ldquo;It is better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; Well I say that is WRONG!&amp;nbsp; This is only a lie that the world has come up with.&amp;nbsp; It encourages children to become rebellious.&amp;nbsp; It is a deceitful mindset that leads them down a dangerous path. I say &amp;ldquo;It is wiser to ask permission first than to beg for forgiveness.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; If someone wants to do something that they don&amp;rsquo;t want their parents to know about, they never ask permission.&amp;nbsp; That&amp;rsquo;s just a part of sin nature.&amp;nbsp; If someone ever says &amp;ldquo;It is better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission,&amp;rdquo; almost every time they are leading you into doing something that is against your parents and God.&amp;nbsp; If you ask for permission first it will save you the headache of getting in big trouble.&amp;nbsp; Permission is something that you ought to practice. It&amp;rsquo;s a tool that allows your parents to guide you. They have better judgment and are trying to keep you out of harm&amp;rsquo;s way. When they say no it is NOT because they don&amp;rsquo;t want you to have fun.&amp;nbsp; Asking for permission is basic communication.
Of course, if you have wronged someone it is necessary to ask for forgiveness. It is the thing you need to learn to show others. &amp;ldquo;Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven&amp;rdquo;. Matthew 18:21-22 &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Forgiveness is most needed when one calls out for God to forgive them of their sin.&amp;nbsp; That is a true example of &amp;ldquo;begging for forgiveness.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; For you are saved by grace.&amp;nbsp; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8 &amp;ldquo;In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:&amp;rdquo; Colossians 1:14

<title>April 2,3,4</title>
<description>

Hello everyone. &amp;nbsp;I&amp;rsquo;m sorry if I have kept you waiting; I&amp;rsquo;ve had a busy weekend.&amp;nbsp; Let me tell you what happened today and the past three days.
04/02:&amp;nbsp; The 2nd was the big day for my &amp;ldquo;Hunchback of Notre Dame&amp;rdquo; play.&amp;nbsp; Yes I did play Quasimodo and it was a hard task to make facial expressions and bend my knees for the entire performance.&amp;nbsp; But it was worth it all in the end.&amp;nbsp; That was one of the craziest plays I&amp;rsquo;ve done so far.&amp;nbsp;
04/03: Friday I had work in the morning which went well.&amp;nbsp; Then most of that day I just hung out at home, waiting for my dad to arrive home from the VSP academy.&amp;nbsp; The greatest thing happened this week. God answered our prayer for my father to get transferred to a station closer to home rather than Roanoke (a two and half hour difference).&amp;nbsp; PRAISE GOD!!
04/04:&amp;nbsp; The fourth of April is a very special day for my parents.&amp;nbsp; As of yesterday they have been married for 22 years!&amp;nbsp; Also on that day my sister and I had ACT tests at a nearby public school, and it was a lot of fun!!&amp;nbsp; After my parents had a great time together and the tests, I had to go to work and ended up enjoying myself.&amp;nbsp; There is this one manager that I work with and every time I work with her I&amp;rsquo;ll invite her to church; no luck yet.&amp;nbsp; Please pray for this lady. &amp;nbsp;She and her family need to go.
04/05:&amp;nbsp; Today is my most favorite day of the week, Sunday.&amp;nbsp; I love going to church and being with the people. &amp;nbsp;I love, getting to suit up.&amp;nbsp; But most importantly, I love worshiping the Lord my Savoir.&amp;nbsp; The best part about this month is that I get to be one of the ushers for the entire month!!&amp;nbsp; This morning I was talking to one of the most respected gentlemen there (he might tell you differently) about Rush Limbaugh ties and how they don&amp;rsquo;t sell them anymore.&amp;nbsp; When I arrived for the evening service he came to me and gave me one of his Limbaugh ties!&amp;nbsp; I thanked him so much; I&amp;rsquo;ll try to post a picture of me wearing it someday.
&amp;nbsp;
That&amp;rsquo;s all for now.&amp;nbsp; Talk to you soon.

<title>Gabriel Woodward for Representative</title>
<description>

&amp;nbsp;

Hi guys, I'm sorry that I have not been able to post anything. I&amp;rsquo;ve just been catching up with a lot stuff.&amp;nbsp; But you're probably wondering what this &amp;ldquo;Gabriel Woodward for Representative&amp;rdquo; is all about.&amp;nbsp; Well a month and &amp;nbsp;a half ago, I was a student at TeenPact Virginia.&amp;nbsp; Since I went there I get to go to the Alumni camp called National Convention (NC).&amp;nbsp; The NC is similar to TeenPact just 10 times better, from what I have heard.&amp;nbsp; There you can choose sign up to run for TeenPact office.&amp;nbsp; I enjoyed running for Senator so much at TeenPact that I really wanted to give it another go this summer.&amp;nbsp; This is a great opportunity to put myself in a leader&amp;rsquo;s position (win or lose.)&amp;nbsp; In the end, there will only be one President and Vice President, four Senators and nine Representatives.&amp;nbsp; Right now in my campaign I&amp;rsquo;m just trying to get more Name/Face recognition.&amp;nbsp; In about two weeks I&amp;rsquo;ll start buying my campaign materials, for example: posters, flyers and business cards.&amp;nbsp; NC is in the end of May to the beginning of June.&amp;nbsp; So please pray for me and that I might win and more importantly have fun and make great friends.&amp;nbsp;
Thank you for your support.

<title>300 Phone Calls</title>
<description>

This past week my landscaping boss (Jason) offered me a small job.&amp;nbsp; And I said &amp;ldquo;yes&amp;rdquo; willingly without asking what it was.&amp;nbsp; This is what he said &amp;ldquo;I need you to make 300 phone calls for me.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; My instant response with a little sarcasm was &amp;ldquo;Great!&amp;rdquo; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;About a couple days later we met up and he gave me a 6 page list of the numbers.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;rsquo;ve been working on it for about 3 days and I finished it today!&amp;nbsp; It could have had taken one day but I had a lot of stuff going on throughout the week.&amp;nbsp; Have you ever been assigned to make 300 calls within 6 hours?&amp;nbsp; It&amp;rsquo;s crazy just thinking about it, phone call after phone call.&amp;nbsp; My arm fell asleep on my desk as I made the calls.&amp;nbsp; I even got to the point to where I started to sound like a recording.&amp;nbsp; I would say &amp;ldquo;Hello my name is Gabriel with (the company name), how are you doing today?&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; Some people asked &amp;ldquo;is this a recording?&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; And others would just hang up, it was pretty funny.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;And now I am not afraid of calling people I don&amp;rsquo;t know at all.
Thanks for reading.
