Christmas is Coming!

We don't yet have our Christmas decorations up yet. We spent a lot of this last weekend getting our main Christmas gift set up, a big flat screen TV. Our 23 year old tube type of TV died last week - just in time to give us a good idea for a family present. But when we do start decorating, I am looking forward to one of my favorites. It is a Christmas string of lights that will flash and play Christmas Carols. I also love the bubble lights that we put on our tree. The M&M lights are pretty good too.

I have been thinking about what I would l would like for Christmas. I am hoping for 'Simia and Rix'. It is a Neo Shifter made by Mega Blox. Mega Blox are kjind of like Legos. I am also hoping for a Web Battler. It is a like a Digipet except that it has a sensor in its chest that lets it interact with a website. If I get two of them (Web Battler 2) I can connect them together and they can interact with each other.

History: I learned about geography things this week

We made a funny VoiceThread about what I studied this week. I hope you like it. We are still making some of it. Mom does a part and then I do a part. At first, we did turns right after each other. Now mom does hers and I check my VoiceThreads to see what messages on the VoiceThreads she left for me. It is kind of like getting mail. I like it. It is fun. Then when she checks her VoiceThread she finds my messages for her. I can't wait until I get the next ones.

History: I learned about Ancient Rome Today

Today I learned about Rome. It is a city in a country called Italy. Italy looks like a boot and is in Europe. Rome was started two brothers. They were were found by a wolf when they were babies. When they grew up. They built the city of Rome on seven hills and one wanted to be king of it. One got got killed because his brother who made himself king made a law that if anyone climbed the wall they would be killed. The other brother made fun of the short wall and jumped over it. A shepard killed him because of the law. There were seven more kings over Rome after that.
