<title>A Heart of Thanksgiving</title>
<description>It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is almost here already!&amp;nbsp; This year has gone by so fast.&amp;nbsp; As I sat down to write this evening I thought of the song 'Count Your Blessings'.
Count your blessings, name them one by one.&amp;nbsp; Count your many blessings see what God has done.
It never fails.&amp;nbsp; There is no quicker way to lift your spirits then to start counting your blessings.&amp;nbsp; We have so much to be thankful for.&amp;nbsp; Thanksgiving shouldn't be left&amp;nbsp;just for&amp;nbsp;November though.&amp;nbsp; We need to have a heart of thanksgiving every day.&amp;nbsp;
I will list a few of the things I am thankful for.&amp;nbsp; If you would like to, leave a comment and say at least one thing you're thankful for this year.&amp;nbsp;
Things I'm thankful for:
My salvation, a wonderful loving husband, six beautiful children, a home to live in, clothes to wear, food to eat, a great church, freedom to homeschool, men and women who are willing to fight for our freedom.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:&amp;nbsp; be thankful unto him, and bless his name.&amp;nbsp; For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Psalm 100:4-5</description>

<title>Is my homeschool pleasing to God?</title>
<description>At the end of every school day I ask myself the same question...Was our homeschool pleasing to God today?&amp;nbsp; Some days I succeed, but some days I fail miserably.&amp;nbsp; I want every area of my life to be&amp;nbsp;acceptable in God's sight and this is what I strive for daily.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
In order for our homeschool to be pleasing to God I must daily remind myself what the ultimate goal is.&amp;nbsp; This goal is different for every family, but for our family&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;goal is to&amp;nbsp;raise our children to be &quot;Acceptable Unto Thee&quot;.&amp;nbsp; For us, it's not important that they&amp;nbsp;attend&amp;nbsp;Harvard, drive around in some fancy expensive car, and make a&amp;nbsp;six figure salary.&amp;nbsp; I want my children's lives to count for&amp;nbsp;God.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable&amp;nbsp; in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.&amp;nbsp;
Psalm 19:14
