<title>Aussie Nutcase - Homeschool Blogger</title>
<description>This is my blog, for those of you who need to be reminded of that fact, which I hope you don&#039;t need to be. But lets for a moment think about the word blog, meaning web log. Its not really a blog then, because I don&#039;t write in this regularly. Some of you old hands may remember me as bibleman. (discontinued). I&#039;m a proud member of Quadguys, and hopefully I&#039;ll post cartoons and entrys and stuff more often then not. enjoy</description>

<title>On 'lol'</title>
<description>Ladies and Gentlemen, Its been a while since I last posted, and it will be a while till I post again. So I will attempt to write an entry that will keep my vast expanse of readers (not) satified for some time. I'd like, in this post, to expound upon the evils of the term 'Loughing Out Loud', written as 'lol' or 'LOL'.

So, whats wrong with 'lol'? To start with, it gets used in the wrong context (e.g. &quot;I havn't seen you for ages&quot; and the reply &quot;lol yeah&quot;). Would you seriously be laughing because of that? Infact, are you ever really laughing when you write that? If something is genuinely funny, people usually say so. That brings me to
'LOL' is rarely used when you are laughing out loud. I mean, when you see someone of the computer chatting on MSN or something, how many times are you interupted from your book by peels of laughter eminating from them? Thats right, nearly never. But you can bet they're writing 'lol' more times than their are kangaroos in Australia.
'LOL' is such a brain-dead way of answering questions. If you write a lengthy, well-worded, well-thought-out message to someone and they reply with 'lol', you just feel really really...well, you know. It'd be nicer if the person disagreed with you, because then you can debate over the matter, or give further information, or something of the sort. But there really isn't&amp;nbsp; anything to be said in response to 'lol'.

I hope this has given you something to think about. And if you don't agree with me, then please comment or message me with something other than &quot;lol u syco&quot; or &quot;rofl yep&quot;.

<title>Home School Blogger (a sumery)</title>
<description>Hello everyone. Its me, your favourite blogger. I recently began a slow re-entrance to HSB, after a long and very un productive stay on Facebook, which I am still on, but thinking seriously of getting rid of.
Now, listen, because I am about to expound on a very relavent topic.
Suppose I was to click 'random blog.' I would get a blog which fell into one of the following catagories:

1. Home schooling Mum
2. Home schooled starwars freak
3. Blog-destined-to-be-great-but-isn't

Let me clarify those. A blog by a Home schooling Mum will be something along the lines of: &quot;Hi I'm a homeschooling mum of three. I've been homeschooling for about a year now, I love my kids and going on family picnics&quot;. The first entries will generally be long and lengthy, and if the Mum is going through hard times, will stay that way. However if everything is hunky-dory, the entrys will get shorter and less frequent until they are short, infrequent paragraphs about the odd picnic or science-hands-on-thing that happened on tuesday.

The Blog of the homeschooled starwars fanatic is a very broad yet narrow class. It includes all different types of film fans, inlcuding Starwars, Lord of the Rings (those two are probably the most prolific), Some harry potter and a few others. This catorgrie also includes book freaks as well, like myself. The entrys on these blogs are medium length, and, once established, can go on for an infefinite amount of time.

The third and last catorgrie, Blog-destined-to-be-great-but-isn't, is comprised of blogs that go something like this. &quot;Hi my name is Bill I love dogs I'm going to do an entry every week I want to be a teacher when I grow up&quot;. There are usually two entrys on these blogs. One really firy one, and a second one with about a tenth of the passion and starting with the classic line &quot;I havn't been on for ages but I'll try and get on HSB more often&quot;.

So, there you have it.

<title>Electronics (and stuff)</title>
<description>Gday everyone
Have you ever pulled some electronic device apart? have you felt the joy in dismantling it bit by bit? If not go and try it out right this instant, have fun, but don't blame me when you're Dad askes where his computer is*. One thing I've noticed about electronic gadgets in gereral, is, there is a log of case. I've pulled several things lately, and mostly they are just empty space, which can be dissapointing. other things, however, a jam packed with goodies, (assming that you assume resistors, trasformors, capacitors, and LED's are goodies).
btw, what do you think the edge of space, the shell that contains all pyisical objects (assuming there is one), is made out of? Could be chicken wiere, or maybe gold?
