Hey, y'all! Guess what I'm doin! I'm holdin a baby! Our friend from church brought her grandbaby over. I'll call the baby Butterball. She's so cute and chubby! I got her a few minutes ago, after she woke up from her nap. She wants the keyboard! She keeps reaching for it and gruntin! Well, I better go now, so I can play with her.

So, I'm justa chillin' at home right now. I really need to wash my hair--it's oily. But washing my hair is one of the 3 things I despise. Too much trouble. Maybe I should chop my hair off. I keep telling my parents I'm gonna get it up to my shoulders, but, what's the use? Even if I wanted to, (and if they'd let me), I have no way of getting to the beauty shop by myself--I'm only 15. Ya know, hair that's about 3 inches from your waste gets pretty hot in the Summer, but I don't care. I just throw my frizzy hair in a messy bun and go. :P Is there any other way? LOL

Well, I guess I better go. I gotta clean my room today, and I wish I could mow grass, but Daddy's doin' it. :( Hmmm...maybe there's something I can do, besides sit in my tree house and write. I love to write, but, man, it can get pretty boring. Okay. Sorry about all the yakkin'--I guess you can tell I'm bored. :S I'll write later. Any suggestions on what I should post?

Hey, it's me, Fay, again.

Since yesterday was my parents' anniversary, us kids went over to stay at our cousins' house.

We all swam in the pond, and I wasn't in there long, when I looked at one of my feet; it was COVERED in MUD LEECHES!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!! I was being a sissy, and was ready to pass out. Ugh. It''l give ya the chills--well, it did me, anyway. To of my cousins helped get 'em off one foot, then I GOT OUT and scraped the rest off. I stayed on the dock after that, 'til Moogie conned ;) me into going in with a little boat floatie thing. But THEN we fell off the floaties, and HAD to touch the ground, so we got leeaches on us! After Moogie saw 'em on her, she said "Let's get out."

Now I think it's funny, but I don't like the feeling of leeches stuck to me. What's really weird is when your feet are covered in 'em, and ya swish your feet around in the water, you can really feel 'em hangin' on. (yuck)

Anyway, me and Moogie had this "great idea" to go get their tan excelerator, and go lay out in the sun. We weren't out there for even 20 minutes, it seemed, when we were already RED HOT! Poor Moogie, her whole legs up to a little past her knee are as hot pink as hot pink can be! Just above my knee is really the only place I got it bad, 'cuz I didn't have a tan there. The tops of our arms are sore, and everyone's faces are red, but we all had so much fun!

Me and Moogie were looking at one of her mom's books about some funny cures for things, and we found sunburn in there, and you can blend up Cheerios in a blender, then pour it in your bath, you can do the same thing with oats, too, or you can rub cool whip or mustard on the burn, and there were lots of weird things you could do. I'm gonna try whitch hazel--that was also in the book.

Oh! Here's something useful we read yesterday--if you get sprayed by a skunk, take a coke bath! (Ya never know, you could get sprayed one of these days! Moogie's brother got the smell on him once.)

Hey, y'all! It's Fay, here!

I just cleaned up the kitchen, and straightened up my room earlier.

At about five o'clock, if it's not stormy yet, we're gonna go to the covered bridge with our cousins and Mawmaw and Pawpaw to swim. Yipee! I love to go to the covered bridge! If I'd charge my batteries to my camera, I could take pics...but I lost my charger! (I can use Mama's, though.) But it may be too late to charge 'em now. Well, no. It's 3:30...it shouldn't take that long. :P

Mama's makin' hot dogs, tater salad, and cooking black-eyed peas. Yummm...

Bug and her family went to the beach this week, and I'm hopin' they're on their way home...I miss her!

Hey, guess what! She e-mailed me last week! Now, ain't that somethin'! (It's about time, Bug!) LOL Poor girl, though...I've probably sent her 50 e-amils this year, just sayin' E-MAIL ME...please. LOL :P

Well, I'm smellin' hot dogs, so I better get one before they get eat up!!!

Recipe!

I thought I'd just post my bisquit recipe. (Well, Mama taught it to me. I've been doing it since I was about 7, though.) Here it is:

4 cups of flour

1 1/2 cups of milk

1/2 cup of butter

Pre-heat the oven to 375. Mix together the flour and (melted) butter first, then add the milk. When it's nise and think, (like dough), lay out a sheet of wax paper, and dump the dough onto it. Flatten out the dough, and cut out the bisquits, and set them in a cookie sheet or any kind of baking pan, and if you have some grease or lard, it's real good to spread that on top of the bisquits before sticking them in the oven. Let 'em cook for about 7 minutes, or 'til a little bit crusty on the outside, or just check the middle to see if they're not gooey.

Thar ya have it! They sure are good bisquits!

This resipe makes about 12 bisquits. (Maybe more.) It's actually a double recipe, but at my house we always double recipes. :)

I think it'd be cool if me and Bug did quizzes--answering questions about each other, so I will do one now about her, and if she wants to, she can do one on me. :) So here goes...

What's her favorite car? Volkswagon Beetle. (duh...a bug. :)

What are (some of ) her favorite things to do? E-mail me, hang out with me, and do blog with me!!! Ha,haha! Wel, she likes to read, swim, watch TV (instead of talking to me on the phone! I'm just teasin', Bug!!!). She also likes to sew (sometimes--we've both skipped sewing class a few times...won't do that again! Daddy was not happy about me doin' that...).

Her favorite color(s)? I know she likes aqua blue, and I think she likes purple...well, for Pete's sake, she don't even know her favorite colors!!! (She should know mine, tho. I talk about it A LOT.)

Her favorite person? ME, OF COURSE!!! (I just had to throw that question in there, y'all!!!)

Her favorite band? Well, I'm not exactly sure...but she LOVES tobyMac's songs--she likes that head-bangin'-rappy-stuff), so I would say tobyMac. (She DEFENITLY knows my fav.!!!)

Her favorite song? I have NO idea whatsoever. Bummer.

Her LEAST favorite subject in "school"? Math? No, wait. I know. It's Science. Yuk-O!

Does she love her p.j.s? YES!!! :P

So...

I talked to Bug today on the phone, and we talked for about half an hour. She's got some big news! But I think she'd like to tell it. She said, though, that Tuesday their power went out, but I think the lap top works again, so hopefully she can post. Poor girl! Her lap top won't even let her go to brandonheath.net!!! What torture! Y'all need to check out them videos he's got--their real cool. And there's an "interview" with him, it's the first one, last time I checked (yesterday). He's also got a new music video for Wait and See coming up...I can't wait!!! Well, I better go. Bye.

Hey, y'all! Fay here.

We (me and my parents and sibs) went to the beach today, and we all got SO sunburned! I'm as red as a tomatoe! My lil brother wore his goggles just about the whole time, and it's so funny, he's got white spots where they were! Ha,ha!

Well. hopefully Bug'll post soon...BUG!!! POST AS SOON AS YOU READ THIS!!! :P

We've decided!

Bug and I picked our top 3 and one other, to give us 7 band names to choose from, and we "voted" with our moms. All of us voted for the name "aisha", which means "noble and eager". We all thought that'd be a good name for a band. Now we feel more "official"--well, at least I do!

Bug and I tried working on a song with the keyboard and guitar, but it's a little harder than we thought, getting the chords and stuff to sound right with the melody, and trying to play at the same tempo! So, we thought, to start out, we might do some short songs from the song book, so we worked on "God is so good". I'll sing alto and play the piano, while she sings soprano and plays the guitar. I think with practice we'll get pretty good. We may not ever be famous, (which is defenitly okay with us), but at least we'll be having fun, and most importantly, honoring God. Maybe I'll post a song or two on here when it's all finished. Maybe. Well, I'll go for now. Hopefully Bug will post soon! Please leave some comments!!!
