I Look Out At The World

I look out at the world, it's but a cold dark place
Oh how I yearn to tell them of my savor and his grace!
From That Time 60-0302
You can walk across the line between grace, mercy, and judgment; and when you spurn grace so many times you can separate yourself from ever from the Presence of God.

Hebrews 12:7-8
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bast ards, and not sons.

Perfect Faith 63-0825e
We're coming now to the perfection, because the people has to come to this in order for the rapture. That's what's holding it away right now, is waiting for that church to come into that perfect raptured faith. I'm looking for it. It means a lot of shaking down for me; it means a lot for you; but together we'll make it by the grace of God.

There's Somebody Out There

There’s somebody out there, hurt and confused
And innocent person, about to lose
There’s somebody out there, whose heart is breaking in two

There’s somebody out there, feeling alone
A husband, a wife being done wrong
There’s somebody out there, shattered from a broken home

But, there’s somebody out there, with arms open wide
He longs to embrace you, dry the tears from your eyes
He’s hope for the hopeless; who will carry the burden you bare
When you don’t have a prayer, there’s somebody out there

There’s somebody out there, who thought it was cool
To keep taking chances, thinking they’d never lose
Now they’re hooked on a feeling that’s left them empty and fooled

There’s somebody out there who can’t quite decide
Whether to live or whether to die
Searching for straight, to make it through their crisis and survive

There’s somebody out there, with arms open wide
How he longs to embrace you, wipe the tears from your eyes
He’s hope for the hopeless; who will carry the burdens you bare
When you don’t have a prayer, there is somebody out there

Whose Image Are You Reflecting?

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.1_ 54-0103M
71-77 The church lives just the same as the world does, carries on, acts just like it, and everything else, and claiming to be the church. You can't do that. No, sir. Your very life proves what you are.
What you are... As I said in the beginning, what you are somewhere else is what you reflect here. What you are, what your celestial or terrestrial body is up yonder, what your celestial body is somewhere else is what you're reflecting back here. In the spirit land, what you are, is what you are here. If you're still vulgar minded and so forth in the spirit land, you're vulgar minded here. If you still got malice, envy, and strife, you're in the spirit land with that, it reflects back here. But if your whole innermost being has become cleansed and purged, it shows that you've got a body out yonder waiting, that's been cleansed and purged, and it's reacting back in the flesh. Don't you see? See, there it is. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." See?

THE.IDENTIFIED.MASTERPIECE.OF.GOD_ 64-1205
86 It's told, one time, the old gold, before they had the smelter. The... They used to take the gold and beat it, the beater would, the Indians in the early days when Arizona was in its youth. They beat the gold until the beater seen his own reflection in the gold. They beat all the iron pyrite, the dross, the dirt, out of it, until the beater could see his own reflection like a mirror, beating out.
87 Now, that's what the Gospel does. So many people don't like to be turned over and beat out. Well, what the church needs tonight is a good, old-fashion, Holy Ghost beating-out, of the world and the things of the world. That's what Pentecost needs tonight. That's what our movements needs tonight, is a good, old-fashion, gold-turning beating, until all the world is beat out of us, and Jesus Christ is reflected.

Texas Youth Round-Up 2009

This year Bro. Paul Lafontaine and Bro. Berry Coffee decided to postpone Winter Youth Retreat for the year and resume the following. So, being there would not be a youth camp in the winter, Bro. Jonathan Goff had it on his heart to pull one together in Texas (near San Antonio) at a Jewish camp ground there.
My sisters Cherith and Candace have volunteered to help put together registration forms, medical, a group game and the skit. In the end we all ended up drug into helping one way or the other, as it’s app to be 95% of the time. We turned it into a family project of sorts all helping brain storm for an activity for all the kids that’s constructive and yet fun all the same time.
Also Reuben and Cherith make the camp logo and flyer. Which both came out looking pretty sweet! Here is the website they pulled together with the help of Mitch…

The Token Applied

Last Sunday morning at my church, Bro. Aaron preached on "The Token Applied" for the morning serives. Here is a scripture and one of the quotes he read out of the message The Token preached in 1963 by Bro. William Branham that stuck out to me. Hope it's as much of a blessing to you as it was to me!

Colossians 3:1-3
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Token, The 63-1128e
And if the Life of Jesus Christ lives in the person, they become identified with Him. It's Christ in you, not a church member, not a system, but a resurrected power. It's the Holy Ghost is a Token upon you, that your life says "amen" to every Scripture. The promises written in there. And you're not yourself no more. You are Christ's. You don't think your thoughts. You don't think your thoughts. You say, "I think." You have no thought coming. The Life that was in Christ is in you. The mind that was in Christ is in you. The works that was in Christ is in you, and Christ Himself is in you. You are dead; your life is hid in God through Christ, sealed in there by the Holy Ghost. You're not your own. He was not responsible for anybody. The whole family must be brought into, and the token must be displayed. It had to be. If it wasn't displayed, then it was of none effect. You could believe in it; you could say, "Oh, yes, I believe it." But that didn't do it. It... You say, "Well, I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll put it in a bucket, and I'll set it over here on the wall. But really, I think, as long as I have it in here, if I had the blood over here..." No, sir. You can't be a secret boy about It. No, sir. You've got to have It. You've got to have It on display. That was the purpose of putting it on the doors, so He could see it on the lintel and on the doorpost. It's something you're not ashamed of. You want the whole world to know that you are dead, and your life is hid in God through Christ.

A Blond Joke

A blonde, a redhead, and a brunette went to heaven.

"There are 1000 steps to heaven and I will tell you a joke every step. If you laugh, you don't get to heaven," God told the girls.

The redhead made it to the 45th step, the brunette made it to the 200th step, and the blonde made it to the 999th step.

When the blonde arrived at the 999th step, she laughed before God could even tell her the joke.

"What's so funny? I haven't even told the joke yet," God said.

"I know! I just got the first one!" the blonde replied.

The Stature Of A Perfact Man

Now, first, it's faith; then virtue. And then thirdly, you add knowledge. Knowledge, now that don't mean worldly knowledge, 'cause that's foolishness to God, but knowledge to judge. Judge what? Right from wrong.
How do you judge it then if you've got Christian knowledge with your virtue and faith, you judge whether the Word is right or wrong. And if you can lay aside all your creeds and all your unbelief, everything that you claim you have done, then you have knowledge to believe that God cannot lie. "Let every man's word be a lie, but Mine be True." See, now you're getting knowledge. That's supreme knowledge. You don't have to have four degrees in some college or something like that to have it, because all these virtues are given to you by God to place upon the foundation of your faith, that you might come to the full stature of a real living man of God. Yes, sir.

Add--add knowledge, because--knowledge of His Word. You must believe it in this way. Such as... You should believe today that the--and accept it that the days of miracles is not passed, knowledge that what God says, God's able to perform.
Abraham believed that. And when he was a hundred years old, he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief. Look how ridiculous that Word looked.
Here's a man a hundred years old looking for a baby to be born into his home by a woman ninety years old (See?), almost fifty years a past, barren, lived with her since she was a young girl or a teen-age. And here he is; his life stream was dead, and Sarah's womb was dead; and all hopes was gone as far as hopes. But yet against hope, he believed in hope, because he had knowledge that God was able to keep everything that He promised.

Now, when you got it like that, then add that to your faith. When you got true virtue, add it to your faith. When you can walk out here on the street, live like a Christian, act like a Christian, be a Christian, add that to your faith. When you have knowledge, you say, "Well, I don't know now whether this Scripture is just right. Now, here's Acts 2:38; I don't know how to go...?... with that; Acts 28:19, I don't..." All right, don't do--don't add nothing, 'cause you ain't got it yet. See? What are you going to do? Because you haven't got knowledge enough to know of God yet that the Bible doesn't contradict Itself. Leave it alone. Don't say no more about it. See, leave it alone. But when you can see that the Scripture is not contradictory, that you can say that--and can see that by the revelation of God, the whole Word is wrote in mysteries, and only the knowledge of God can reveal It. Then when you get and say, punctuate every word of God with an "Amen," then add that to your faith.

Oh, you're getting to be a pretty good man right now. See? You're coming up. See? What with? With faith, then with virtue, then knowledge. See how it's building this man? You can see there's no--no way of escaping it. This is the way to become in the full stature of Christ. Yes, sir.
To judge, judge right, judge whether it's right or wrong to believe God's Word; judge whether it's right or wrong whether I should serve a creed or serve God; judge whether it's right or wrong, "I should be born again, or join a church." Then you begin... Judge right when the preacher says, "The days of miracles is passed."
The Bible said, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Now, which are you going to believe? When you say, "I'll take God." Now, you don't say that to say, "Well, I--I take it," just from your heart, "but something in you--your faith pushes out there. There you are. Your faith says, "I know He's the same. I've witnessed Him the same." There's nothing can take it away from you. "I know He's real." Then add that to your faith. Lay it down on the foundation.

See, you're coming up now. Coming right on up towards the Kingdom, got to this spot now, all right

Random info

Today at the dinner table, my dad told this to us in the form of a joke... I found it rather amusing, so later I went to research it, to see if it really was a true story.. I don't know how valid Wikipedia is, but that's what i got the following information off of. Take it all with a grain of salt, and I hope you get as big of a laugh out of it as i did!

"Turtles all the way down" refers to an infinite regression belief about cosmology and the nature of the universe. It is a modern retelling of ancient beliefs that the world is borne through the universe on the back of one or more enormous animals (such as a turtle in Native American creation myth),[1] though these myths do not normally include an infinity aspect or multiple/endless layers of animals.

Origin
The most widely known version appears in Stephen Hawking's 1988 book A Brief History of Time, which starts:

            “
A well-known scientist (some say it was Bertrand Russell) once gave a public lecture on astronomy. He described how the earth orbits around the sun and how the sun, in turn, orbits around the center of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy. At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said: "What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant tortoise." The scientist gave a superior smile before replying, "What is the tortoise standing on?" "You're very clever, young man, very clever," said the old lady. "But it's turtles all the way down!"[2]
            ”
