Ok... so i have this job picking strawberries. And well, The next door neighbor
has horses. So... I went down to go pet them and feed them some carrots.
And then I touched the electric fence. lol. yep.... I was thrown backwards from the
jolt of energy that went through my body. it was fun though. lol. I would do it
again if i was dared. :D Just thought I'd share my interesting experience.
And yeah... for the most part, I'm quitting HSB. I've kinda lost interst. I might
post if i have the impulse too, but other than that. I'm pretty much quitting.
If you really want to keep in touch ask me for my IM and maybe I'll give it to you...

More chalk drawings from Julian Beever..

Scroll down slowly and stop at each new frame. Incredible!

Julian Beever is an English artist who's famous for his art on the pavement of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium .

Beever gives an amazing 3-D illusion to his drawings.

Did you spot Julian Beever on the Top of the Bottle?

Do you notice everything is fake, even the hose and water?

Look closely, you can see the bricks through the chalk on the monitor screen!

There is no hole in this pavement.

People are actually avoiding walking in the 'hole'

Which is the real guy & which beer is real?

Girl in Swimming Pool (Remember, both his feet in reality are flat on the pavement)

Girl in Swimming Pool (Seen in reverse, from the opposite side of the drawing.)

Politicians Meeting Their End

World's Biggest Fly-Spray

This drawing of a Rescue was to be viewed using an inverting mirror

Make Poverty History drawing from the side (40 ft long)

Baby Food

You can still see the blocks of concrete.

Spiderman to the rescue.

Batman and Robin to the rescue (SO COOL)

I can barely believe some of these... it must take so long to do it!

thingie from an email

cool thingie i got from littlebrowngirl

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).

To demonstrate how difficult it h ad been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.
He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.

Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

There are teachers. and then there are educators

An this blog was origainally supossed to be abou what again?

Ahhhh!... I have been grounded for so long! Sry I just dissappered!

Ok.. this blog was origainally supossed to be about school/bookreports kinda stuff. This part of the reason why mom signed me up for it. But yeah, as you can see... it's not excactly that. hehe. I have posted one book report. and that was my first post. So, I thought that maybe I should post another one.
Here goes:

Title: The Witch of Blackbird Pond
Author: Elizabeth George Speare
Written: 1958
Genre: Historical Fiction
Place of Publication: The Riverside Press in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Number of Pages: 249

Kit, the main character in the story, was raised by her grandfather on an island called Barbados. When her grandfather died, he died in debt, leaving Kit with no choice but to sell all the slaves, property, and most of her clothes that she owned. With no parents to turn to and barely any money left she had only one choice, she had to take a boat to Wethersfield, Connecticut and find her only known aunt and uncle. In the poor state that she was in, and the boat that was arriving soon, she didn't have time to write a letter to her aunt and uncle and wait for a response of whether they would accept her into their home or not. So she packed the few clothes of which she possessed and took the next boat, The Dolphin, to Connecticut. During her long days on the Dolphin she became well acquainted with a man by the name of Nathaniel Eaton, captain of the boat. When they arrived at Wethersfield, Nat was concerned about her aunt and uncle not waiting at the dock for her, so he took her to their house. He found out her aunt and uncle had no idea she was coming and he was stunned and upset about letting her ride the Dolphin without knowing this. Her aunt and uncle took her in despite no warning, her uncle definitely being the unhappy one in the bunch. While there, they made it clear that she had to start working around the house so that she could earn her keep. But while she was growing up she had slaves and people to wait on her, she never did anything herself. So she was a clumsy girl and had a difficult time mastering chores. To solve this, Kit and her sister started a school that taught kids how to read and write. Kit was very happy about this because she finally could do something and be good at it, but things went wrong and amongst the frustrations she ran away to a meadow to cry, where she meet an old widow. She became well acquainted with this elderly woman but when word got out that Kit was visiting her, rumors got out that Kit was practicing witchcraft because everyone believed this old widow was a witch. Everybody became even more suspicious when family's started getting sick and dying. All the blame went to Kit, putting both her and the Widow in danger. It's interesting from here on to see how all the problems are worked out and dealt with.
I definitely would recommend this book. I think girls may find it more interesting than guys, partially because a girl is the main character. I found this book very suspenseful and entertaining to read. Normally I don't like the classic books because of how they're written and it's hard to 'get into it'. But this book was very easy to read and follow. One of my favorite parts is when Kit jumps into the water to save a little girl's doll. It was cute and kind of funny. Hope you like the book just as much as I did.

Not to big and not real professional but hey... it's my blog, you guys don't care. do you?

so then I would have never came back. :D Well, I got my end of the year test scores in.
I'm pretty much an average student except for math, I'm above average. Just because
I'm cool like that :D... So what's new with everyone?
