P.S I Love You**

P.S I Love You**
rated PG-13

"Sometimes there's only one thing left to say."
Directed By: Richard LaGravenese
Release Date: December 21st, 2007
Starring: Hilary Swank as Holly Kennedy, Gerard Butler as Gerry Kennedy and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as William
Runtime: 126 Minutes
Memorable Quotes: Holly Kennedy: What if this is it, Gerry? What if this is all there is to our life? You have to have a plan. Why do I have to be the responsible grown up who worries? Why can't I be the cute, carefree Irish guy who sings all the time?
Gerry Kennedy: Because you can't sing without making dogs bark?
Holly: *Chunks shoe at Gerry*
Daniel Connelly: What do women want?
Holly Kennedy: [whispering] We have no idea what we want.
Daniel Connelly: I knew it!
Summary Plot:

Holly (Hillary Swank) is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life-- a passionate, funny, and impetuous Irishman named Gerry Kennedy(Gerard Butler). So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. So it's a good thing he planned ahead. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief, but in rediscovering herself. The first message arrives on Holly's 30th birthday in the form of a cake, and to her utter shock, a tape recording from Gerry, who proceeds to tell her to get out and "celebrate herself".
In the weeks and months that follow, more letters from Gerry are delivered in surprising ways, each sending her on a new adventure and each signing off in the same way; P.S. I Love You. Holly's mother (Kathy Bates) and best friends (Gina Gershon) and Denise (Lisa Kudrow), begin to worry that Gerry's letters are keeping Holly tied to the past, but in fact, each letter is pushing her further into a new future. With Gerry's words as her guide, Holly embarks on a touching, exciting and often hilarious journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into a new beginning for life.

P.S I Loved This MOVIE! P.S I love you was a great film. Yet here we are again, we make God as the life-taker and bad guy.
Holly asks friend Daniel why God took her husband. He replies something like, Maybe you're being punnished for something.
And she nods. That was unnessecary as was the brief nude scene.
Other than that- it was a sweet story about a couple who loved each other dearly, everyone told them that it wouldn't work out because they were too young. But they kept on. And even in death he helped her find relief. Really sweet movie, I give P.S I love you a 3.5/4 stars.
This movie is rated PG-13 for sexual references and brief nudity

I Am Legend**

I Am Legend**
Rated PG-13

The Last Man on Earth is not Alone.
Starring: Will Smith as Robert Neville, Alice Braga as Anna, and Charlie Tahan as Ethan.
Release Date: December 14th, 2007
Runtime: 101 minutes
Memorable Quotes: Robert: "My name is Robert Neville. I am a survivor living in New York City. I am broadcasting on all AM frequencies. I will be at the South Street Seaport everyday at mid-day, when the sun is highest in the sky. If you are out there... if anyone is out there... I can provide food, I can provide shelter, I can provide security. If there's anybody out there... anybody... please. You are not alone."
Robert: "Day one thousand and one. We came in close contact with a hive today. Blood tests confirm that I remain immune to both the airbourne and contact strains. Canines remain immune to airbourne strain only. The vaccine trials continue. I'm still unable to transfer my immunity to infected hosts. The Krippen Virus is... elegant."
[mind wanders]
Robert: "Just fishin' in the dark, son."
[after a long pause, going back to his train of thought]
Robert: "Behavioral note - an infected male exposed himself to sunlight today. Now it's possible decreased brain function or growing scarcity of food is causing them to... ignore their basic survival instincts. Social de-evolution appears complete. Typical human behavior is now entirely absent."
Plot Synopsis: the last man on earth, our hero, Robert Neville, a sole survivor of a world dominating virus created by man, that initially takes out 588 million people in 2009, and was originally created to somehow cure cancer. In 2012, Neville (a former scientist) dedicates his life to surviving for the sake of the human race, since he's somehow immune to the virus and those who have been infected, and attempts to find a cure.
In order to find a cure, he seeks out the infected beings at night, who seem to have completely forgotten how to act human, their instincts and survival skills have become non-existent, and either takes them out to survive, or in some cases, drags them to his underground lab for research purposes, in hopes of correcting humankind's mistake.

My Thoughts: During this movie I was with some friends and we were all tensed up. It was a great movie, with anticipation and seat gripping action. I am Legend was a great movie, though the main character says in the film that he did not believe in God. You never really find out if he changed his mind about this subject. Other than that, it was an emotional roller coaster throughout the entire film. Going back and forth from heart ripping scenes to gruesome violence. I Am Legend left me confused but full of adreneline. I give I am Legend a 4.5/5 stars. Just because I don't like jump-out-and-grab-you kinda movies.

The Village**

The Village**
Rated PG-13

1. Let the bad color not be seen. It attracts them.
2.Never enter the woods. It's where they wait.
3.Heed the warning bell, for they are coming.

Released: July 30, 2004
Starring: Bryce Dallas Howard as Ivy Walker, Joaquin Pheonix as Lucious Hunt, Adrien Brody as Noah Percy, and William Hurt as Edward Walker.
Runtime: 108 Minutes
First Lines: August Nicholson: Who'll pinch me to wake me up? Who will laugh at me when I fall? Whose breath will I listen for so that I may sleep? Whose hand will I hold so that I may walk?
Most Memorable Quote:
Ivy Walker: When we are married, will you dance with me? I find dancing very agreeable. Why can you not say what is in your head?

Lucius Hunt: Why can you not stop saying what is in yours? Why must you lead, when I want to lead? If I want to dance I will ask you to dance. If I want to speak I will open my mouth and speak. Everyone is forever plaguing me to speak further. Why? What good is it to tell you you are in my every thought from the time I wake? What good can come from my saying that I sometimes cannot think clearly or do my work properly? What gain can rise of my telling you the only time I feel fear as others do is when I think of you in harm? That is why I am on this porch, Ivy Walker. I fear for your safety before all others. And yes, I will dance with you on our wedding night.
Plot Outline:In a quiet, isolated village in olde Pennsylvania, there lies a pact between the people of the village and the creatures who reside in the surrounding woods: the townspeople do not enter the woods, and the creatures do not enter the village. The pact stays true for many years, but when Lucius Hunt seeks medical supplies from the towns beyond the wood, the pact is challenged. Animal carcasses, devoid of fur, begin to appear around the village, causing the council of elders to fear for the safety of the village, the pact, and so much more.
The Village was a wonderful suspense movie full of mystery and terror. It wasn't one of those slasher movies like Saw or such nonsense it was a realistic scary movie. Reminds me of the great film-maker Alfred Hitchcock. It was wonderfully made and if you like suspense, wonder, and like to be creeped out by the unknown this movie is definitely for you!
I give The Village a 4/4 stars!
This movie is rated PG-13 for a scene of Violence, and frightening situations.

Based on Gaston Leroux's 20th century French novel, Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical is finally adapted into a film. Our story begins with Opera Populaire's manager, Lefevre, leaving. His successors, Andre and Firmin, take over the opera, and bring with them their new patron, le Victome Raoul de Changy. To celebrate their new managers, the opera throws a gala, at which the leading diva refuses to perform, due to the mysterious 'Opera Ghost' who seems determined to have the screeching diva leave. Without a diva, Andre and Firmin are strong-minded to find a new leading lady, so they invoke the talents of a young, chorus-singer named Christine Daae, who has been taking lessons from a mysterious tutor. Raoul, Christine's old childhood sweetheart, who recognizes her at her triumphant gala performance, wants to bring Christine back into his life. But, suddenly, Christine's mysterious tutor reveals himself to her... Now, will Christine ask everything of Raoul or listen to the Music of the Night?
Phantom of the Opera was Si Magnifique! I absolutely adored it! I give it a 5/5 stars!!! Everyone should see this. Brief violent images such as two strangulation murders and The Phantom's face may be too scary for young children.
Rated PG-13 for brief violent images.

However, the boy's investigation of the death reveals more nefarious activities involving the one brother's business dealings with a notorious local hoodlum. Two cops, who are trying to solve the case, may also not be what they seem. While a fairly standard tale, their are still several twists and unexpected turns that keeps things interesting.
Okay. Four Brothers is one of my top 5 movies ever. Seriously. I LOVE this movie. I don't know why. Anyways, yes, I don't really recommend it for people who are sensitive to strong language...cause it's in this movie...every 5 seconds. But I still give Four Brothers a 5 out of 5 stars.
This movie is rated R for strong language, strong violence, pervasive language and some sexual content.
