I have an anouncment to make. On April 5th through 6th, Memorial Coliseum is hosting an event called Aqire the fire. It starts at 6:00pm friday (so you won't miss school!) and then goes all day saterday. Aqire the fire is a nation wide event that teaches youth about their value in life, to abandon whathas become popular in today's culture, and follow God. (i'm the drummer) I just wanted to give a little backround of the Band. Josh, our lead singer, has been my best freind for like forever, and we both grew up around music. By the time we were about 12-13 I knew how to play the drums and Josh had become quite the guitarist, and we both frequently played for our two church's worship bands. Then, about two and a half years ago my fam and I started going to a homeschool co-op called First class clark county (FC3) or friday school. There i met Sierra and Savannah St.john, who's perents had started the whole thing, and Cayin was savannah's best friend. Josh and I had been wanting to start a band, but we couldn't find any other musicians. I knew that Sierra played the piano/keyboard, but I didn't  realy think much of it. Then I heard that Savannah could play the bass, and that Caylin played the giutar, and it clicked!! So we arranged a confrence call, a couple days later and we all got to talk, 'cause josh had never met the girls. Then Josh's fam started going to FC3 and we had our first band "rehersal" although we were really just getting to know eachother. A couple weeks and MANY insant messaging chats later, you would think we had known eachother for forever. Before long we started writing songs and making tunes. And that about wraps it up!! Thanx!! DUH! lol. And all of us go to FS (Friday School). Oh, I have an announcement! Ok. Saturday, April 12th, at 7:00 there is a concert at Crossroads Community Church. I would highly recommend going to that. Pillar, Wavorly, Brooke Barrettsmith, and MAnic Drive will be performing! Exciting! Yeah, so go to it! The ticket prices are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. I hope you guys can go, it will be fun. And those are great bands. :D Ok, before I go, I want to give you guys a verse to think  about. 1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for one another. I think this verse is very important to read over every now and then, and focus on what sacrifice means and what true love is, not the world's love, but God's love.
