GrEEnPePPeRmInT http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/greenpeppermint/746235/ Fri, 20 Nov 2009 11:10:00 -0600 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/greenpeppermint/746235/ I had two state cup games this weekend.  We won our first game on Saturday 7-0!   woohoo!!  About 1/4 of the way through the second half I hyper-extended my knee though.  I felt it bend backwards and then pop back forwards.  ouch. :/   I couldn't play the rest of the game and I couldn't play today.  We lost our game today 3-1, but we still made it to the final four.  So we will get to play in the semi-finals and hopefully the finals next weekend. :)   I'm sure my knee will be better by then so I can play.  Graham and Fields both had a tournament this weekend too.   Graham won his tournament and Fields tied for first in his.  Congrats Fields and Graham!! ;)  Tonight we ate at Five Guys Burgers and Fries for dinner.  Mom and I ate there yesterday on the way home from my tournament too.   Their cheeseburgers and fries are really good.  I went to Wal-Mart with Mom tonight too.   Fun, fun, fun!! Another one of my soccer games was cancelled this weekend :P...weather.  It's probly raining right now; idk though because I'm in the basement. lol   It's a 90% chance of rain today and it's supposed to rain 1-2 inches!!  Good thing I don't have soccer practice tonight! Last night Felicity got a size 1 soccer ball in one hand and a football in the other hand.  She was like, "Okay, here is the big decision!  Quinn, grab the ball that you like better!"  Quinn runs up, grabs the soccer ball, and hugs it for a minute.  Then he ran over and slapped the football out of Felicity's hand and started hugging the soccer ball again.  lol  It was sooo funny!!   I guess Quinn is going to be a soccer player like the rest of us. :)  He made a good choice...in my opinion, (American) football is not a sport...it's a production.  There is like 52 players on one team and they play for what?...6 seconds at a time??...and then they need like 20 timeouts!  A guy runs for 10 seconds, everyone celebrates that a guy ran for 10 seconds, then there's a long time out.  woot woot.  Annyywaayyy, we have been trying to memorize Exodus 20:1-17 and last night I said it to Dad and I got $15 dollars for saying it!  Mom and Dad give us chapters in the Bible to memorize and then once we get it almost all memorized we can either get $10 and go on to another chapter or we have two more chances to say it and if we say it perfectly then we get $20!  I said it almost perfectly, I messed up on one thing, so I got $15. :)   Christmas is in 74 days!!  I already have a present for my sister and a present for my oldest brother. =)  Idk what I'm gonna get Dad and Graham...but I know what I'm going to get Mom and Quinn. GrEEnPePPeRmInT http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/greenpeppermint/732288/ Thu, 1 Oct 2009 10:41:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/greenpeppermint/732288/ I made a smoothie for breakfast today...it didn't go too well.   I finished the smoothie and I had it in the blender.  I noticed that some smoothie was leaking out of the bottom of the blender so I put it over the sink to clean it up and then...the bottom fell out.   All of the smoothie started pooring out into the sink!  I saved some of the smoothie because I flipped it over and I had a lid on the top.   We need a new blender.  We all got our soccer games in this weekend before the lightning started, except me.  lol  We played 32 minutes of my game and we have to play the rest some other time cuz it started lightning.    I reffed two games that day too. :)   Yesterday we had church and then we went to MBF's house for a little bit afterwards.  That was funn!! :D Here are some flower pictures I took a while ago...I'm gonna post 'em before summer ends, or maybe I'm already too late.   Anyone know when the first day of fall is??
