Working to ride

This is my halflinger pony Dusty. I got her in 2004. She is 12yrs old she is broke to ride and drive. She is chestnut with a white mane and tail. She is about 13.1 hands high . A hand is about4 inches. Dusty and I go on trail and road rides in the Summer. Yes, I have fallen of quite a few times when I got Dusty. I was ponied which means a horse and rider are in front of me and the rider takes the lead rope which hooks on to Dusty’s bridle and makes sure Dusty didn’t bolt. But now I do it without being ponied. I sometimes do it in our pasture. When I first did it without being ponied, Dusty thought it would be fun to roll when I was still on her!!!!!!! No way!!! Come on Dusty!!! No rollin’ when I’m in the saddle!!!!. In August I was riding Dusty without a saddle. Usually, Dusty doesn’t care but she got to excited and she started bucking like crazy. I flew off her but I accidentally held on to the reins and Dusty stepped right on my rib. She broke my 8th rib and punctured my lung. Before I ride I brush Dusty, I put on my saddle, the bridle, then my helmet. Then we are ready to ride.
