Greetings bloggers and previous readers of my blog.
It has been a very long time, as you well know, since I last posted on here, and since then I have no doubt drifted to the far reaches of your memory, if ever I occupied any real place. NONE THE LESS I will give reason for my absence, my reason is simple and I know you all have heard it over and over again “I’m just too busy” well, it’s true, and I am. After all a lot has changed and this is 2009 “the year of change” which reminds me, we have a new president! YAY! Not….who just passed a bill to spend hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars to stimulate the economy and bring us out of this “crisis” Yay! Again not……it's only going to drive us further into debt, help people who got into houses, and bought cars they could never afford, it’s going to make government even BIGER, nationalize health care, and redistribute the wealth. Not to mention giving it to organizations that only further immorality, humanism, and ungodliness in our nation. BUT anyways where was I? Oh yes, I have been busy, between school, music and more recently work, I’ve just been too busy. Yes I got a job, and it pays pretty darn well. As for music, well I play violin for a state high school honors orchestra, and church. Oh and also speaking of music did you watch the inauguration of our dear leader at which Yo Yo Ma, Itzack Perlman…and some other people who I’ve never heard of played? (I’ll assume you did) well, it was prerecorded because it was too cold for the instruments to stay in tune. Once again…Anyways, I’ve been on facebook a lot lately if any of you have a face book account you can find me on there. Now where was I again?
Oh never mind I’ll post again later
God bless.

Here is a story I saw on www.foxnews.com, today, tell me what you think, I think the whole post-modernist way of "thinking" is disgusting.

While most London buses carry posters for shops or Hollywood movies, Christian churches and Muslim groups have bought bus-side ad space in the past.
Sherine came up with the idea after seeing a series of Christian posters on London buses. She said she visited the Web site promoted on one ad and found it told nonbelievers they would spend eternity in torment in hell.
"I thought it would be a really positive thing to counter that by putting forward a much happier and more upbeat advert, saying 'Don't worry, you're not going to hell,'" said Sherine, 28. "Atheists believe this is the only life we have, and we should enjoy it."
The British Humanist Association, which is administering the fundraising drive, said it had been so successful the campaign might spread to other cities including Manchester and Edinburgh.
Most Britons identify themselves as Christians, but few attend church regularly, and public figures rarely talk about their beliefs. Former Prime Minister Tony Blair was rare among politicians in speaking openly about his Christian faith.
Dawkins, author of the best-selling atheist manifesto "The God Delusion," said that religion nonetheless held a privileged position in society.
"Religious organizations have an automatic tax-free charitable status," he said. "Bishops sit in the House of Lords automatically. Religious leaders get preferential treatment on all sorts of commissions.
"This campaign to put alternative slogans on London buses will make people think — and thinking is anathema to religion."
Dawkins said that as an atheist he "wasn't wild" about the ad's assertion that there was "probably" no God.
Sherine said the word was included to ensure the posters didn't breach transit advertising regulations, which stipulate ads should not offend religious people.
Few believers appeared offended by the campaign, although most doubted it would work.
"I think people will ask themselves, 'On what basis can they make that statement?" said Inayat Bunglawala of the Muslim Council of Britain. "So it will get people thinking, so in that sense it can only be good."
Ad agency CBS Outdoor, which manages advertising on many London buses, said it had approved the atheist campaign.
Sales and marketing director Tim Bleakley said "our decision to take an ad that promotes God, or one that promotes no God, is based on commercial terms, as long as the advertising copy itself does not breach U.K. advertising standards."
The Rev. Jenny Ellis, spirituality and discipleship officer for the Methodist Church, welcomed the ads.
"This campaign will be a good thing if it gets people to engage with the deepest questions of life," she said.
The religious think tank Theos said it had donated $82 to the campaign, on the grounds that the ads were so bad they would probably attract people to religion.
"It tells people to 'stop worrying,' which is hardly going to be a great comfort for those who are concerned about losing jobs or homes in the recession," said Theos director Paul Woolley.
"Stunts like this demonstrate how militant atheists are often great adverts for Christianity."

PEOPLE WHO READ THIS...
Also read these stories:
LONDON — London buses have God on their side — but not for long, if atheists have their way.
The sides of some of London's red buses will soon carry ads asserting there is "probably no God," as nonbelievers fight what they say is the preferential treatment given to religion in British society.
Organizers of a campaign to raise funds for the ads said Wednesday they received more than $113,000 in donations, almost seven times their target, in the hours since they launched the project on a charity Web site. Supporters include Oxford University biologist Richard Dawkins, who donated $9,000.
The money will be used to place posters on 30 buses carrying the slogan "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life." The plan was to run the ads for four weeks starting in January, but so much money has been raised that the project may be expanded.
"A lot of people say trying to organize atheists is like herding cats. The last couple of days shows that is not true," said comedy writer Ariane Sherine, who started the campaign

BUSY! BUSY! TErrrrribly BusY! Much Much To BUSSSSYYY FOR... Well...pretty much everything

YES, My most sincere apologies to y'all, I've just been to busy with school and violin, that I haven't hardly touched a computer. But I digress.

Recently I auditioned for a state, high school honors symphony, made it, that, pretty much takes out Monday, since I rehearse an hour and thirty minutes away from where I live, and for 2and a half hours straight I get to play . Which is awesome, since the music is a little challenging it is really good practice!
That, on top of lessons group classes, and playing for church has me playing violin somewhere around 15hours a week, which is good.

School as going fine, algebra is long and boring as usual……

Hunting here is GREAT, Pig, turkey, deer, DOVE, quail season coming up here in two weeks. And! Since we now have bird dogs that need training, we’ll be quail hunting Lord willing twice a week!

As far as bike riding goes I have gone on another 30miler and several casual 10-15milers as often as I can get out, (But that is for another post, cause, it would take to long to tell you about it.)

This is a little abrupt,
BUT, I must be off, I’ll post again as soon as I can,
GOD bless,

Sunday Bike ride

Ever just hop on your bike and just ride? Well, that’s exactly my brother Anthony, Sam and I did on Sunday after church. Only we rode between 20 and 30 miles......

(Above are the first mountains we came to, the one in the middle we climbed to the top of after ridding to it, and the one fathers on the left we wound up a ways behind that one)
(above: the vews from ontop of the center mountian) ( while we were at the top a Uh-60 flew by) (the view half way up, the big green hill you see off in the distance, well we rode past that one too)

(
and this is looking back from the top of the hill, those three hills you see, the center one is actually a really NICE cliff, and it is described by every major explorer that explored this area. I'll get some pictures of it up close)

Looking up halfway up the hill(above: some abandond bleechers, at an abandond field)Ok, above, is what might just look like a regular, really big, 3ft long grass carpe. But no! My brother is standing next to it! Just kidding! It is a regular dead, 3ft long grass carpe.
It’ what we did with it that made is special!
We took the fish out of the creek (we were on a low water crossing, which is a concrete bridge only a foot above the water and when it floods the bridge is designed so the water simply rises over it.) and we laid the fish on the bridge so it looked like the fish had leaped out of the creek and onto the bridge. The bridge was in a small valley so we went to the top to look around and change a flat tire on one of our bikes. While we were up there we saw some one driving by, as they went over the bridge they saw the fish stopped the car in the middle of the bridge and got out! They took a few pictures, looked at the creek no doubt amazed at how far the fish had jumped out of the water, so far it couldn’t get back in. after about 20 minutes 10 or so people had driven by and stopped to look at the fish!
On man and who appeared to be his wife drove by, and the man immediately stops backs up, gets out, of the car walks around the fish with his arms out expressing to his wife how big it was. All this as she rolls her eyes and tells him to get back in the car. Let me tell you, it was pretty funny!

Above is a picture of a 4’inch long locus we found dead of the side of the road! It was really big!

We saw armadillows total, the whole trip (thats counting dead ones) Here in Oklahoma we have wild bores, which around here grow to weigh up to 400lbs! That’s a huge pig!
Well about 4miles away from our house, still a ways out, (and we had already hear pigs fighting and squealing when we were onto of one of the hills) but as we rode down a stretch of road woods on one side nice plainsy grass on the other, we here really loud rustling in the bushes. So anticipating pigs (it was that loud) we stopped and quietly waited for them to show them selves. Wanting a good picture I got the camera out, but, to our amazement, no wild pigs came out, just two little armadillos. These critters are like little tanks, there is nothing stealthy about the armadillo!

Well that is all for now!

Hey, I just got back from running, and I just had to tell people-I saw my second LIVE armadillo! (Unfortunately, this one caught me by surprise, and was to close to the wood line for me to catch. But, the next one I've got to catch!)
Now, I know most of you won’t under stand this, but for three weeks in Oklahoma, that’s not bad!

Some Gave ALL

Today is the second anniversary of the death of my cousin Marc Alan Lee, The first Navy Seal killed in Iraq.
Below are some pictures and information I found on some political web sites regarding Marc’s Mother. and him.

(This is her Profile form Moving America Foward.ORG)
Her son, Marc Alan Lee, was the first Navy Seal to lose his life in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Marc, 28, was killed August 2, 2006 in a fierce firefight while on patrol against insurgents in Ramadi, Iraq.

U.S. Navy officers told Debbie Lee that her son died after single-handedly holding off enemy fighters as his team rescued a wounded soldier from a rooftop. During the two-hour battle, Navy officials informed her that Marc Lee fired 100 rounds of ammunition against insurgents before he was killed.
(he was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star with Valor & Purple heart.)

As the Portland Oregonian noted, “A Navy SEAL's everyday life would reduce most people to sobbing wrecks: extremes of heat and cold, sleep deprivation, the constant specter of danger. It is an existence of late-night phone calls and missed birthdays, while standing watch over the troubled waters of this world so that others may sleep peacefully.”

Debbie Lee has toured the nation, speaking at pro-troop rallies, and helping to organize shipments of care packages to our troops serving overseas.

She met with President Bush and pledged her commitment to use her voice to make a difference in America’s to support for our troops. She presented him the Seal Team 3 hat, the Seal Trident and the picture of Marc and his platoon.

She appeared onstage at the 2007 Country Music Awards where Tim McGraw presented to her and other Gold Star Parents his new song, “I’m Already Home” which honors those in the U.S. military who gave their lives in service to this nation.

(here is part of a article she wrote. I found it fitting)
It was a warm August evening in Surprise, Arizona and a small group of friends had gathered as they regularly did on Wednesday evenings. This Wednesday was different as we were celebrating my birthday, which was a week earlier but we weren’t able to get together that week. One of my friends had given me one of the Willow Tree Angels named “Courage.” When she gave it to me she told me that it reminded her of me. She told me “To her I was a Woman of Courage.”
None of us knew at that moment how much courage would be required for me to survive that night what was about to happen that would change my life forever. As we were finishing cake and ice cream I received what would be the most devastating phone call of my life. My oldest son Kristofer, had called asking where I was and how long it would take me to get home. When I questioned why he said, “You just need to come home.” I had a sick feeling in my being and I knew what faced me ahead. I knew that when I arrived home that I would be informed that my youngest son Marc had died, being the first Navy SEAL killed in Iraq.

Remember those who paid the ultimate price for your freedom.
And keep Debbie Lee in your prayers this second anniversary of her sons death.

God Bless.

Well, as some of you know, last week my family drove up to Colorado.
We left on Uhmmmm, last-Monday-I think. We got to where my grandfather lives around 5:00 Pm, went out to eat, then all of my brothers and me, went home to our grandfathers house, when we got there it was still light. After un loading everything, I went and grabbed my new pellet gun. (See, they have a problem with Voles (a type of rat) and my grand parents and they’re neighbors Love for us to shoot them) After about 5minutes I saw what I was looking for- A huge fat rat crossing the side walk in they’re garden. And, I immediately shot it, first shot hitting it to far back, so it took another. After removing the pest, my brothers and I continued searching out side of they’re yard, near a dry creek bead. (30yrds away from they’re house) which was where they were coming from. I shot 3more before it was dark, all of which only took one shot.
This is what they look like.
That night we watched a movie until 11ish, then went to bed. Didn’t sleep a bit. So I got up at 06, grabbed my pellet gun and went out to shoot more rats. Before my brothers we even up I had shot 3 more. And then my brother Sam got up and we went and shot 3 more between the two of us. On shot I made was at about 40yrds, shooting off handed. It was really cool, because we say the rat way off, and I was using my brothers shoulder to steady the rifle, but before I could get a shot a bunch of quail can tromping right behind the rat, and I knew they would scare the rat away, so a quickly took a step away from my brother and shot the rat. It took a second or two for the round to reach the rat and when it did it just rolled of the trail and the little quail, passed safely by. Before 11, I had shot 12rats and my brother had shot 3.
Then, when I had come back form rat hunting, still gun in hand. I was looking around a lumber pile next to the house, when I saw the back of a snake, and stood still for a second, I had just barely set my foot down when it sprung up, scaring me half to death!
Then he struck at me as I jumped back. After that he stood there Just like thisonly, he stood higher then my knee and he struck at me. My older brother heard him rattling and came over when he saw I said, "should I shoot i?" and he said he said said “SHOOT IT!!!!” so I did. It took a few shots actually. But we got him.

We skinned it and saved the pelt.
Here it is it is. it was about 4.5 ft long. (This picture is mine, the other too are not)
Well, that’s all that was "exciting"
We worked on our house, caught guarder snakes, attended our grandmothers 70th birth day party, and drove hours and hours, and on and on.

(About getting pictures, for my last post. Sorry, I haven't seen my neighbors since, but I'll ask them to e-mail me them when I do see them)

Until then.
