They look so wonderful! When I arrived at church yesterday I went before the cross and prayed. I felt a fresh feeling of my burden being lifted. I felt that the wind blew in a new way and that we were going to be ok. Thank you Lord for dying for us. I am getting so excited about the upcoming homeschool convention! It's just as exciting to me as a vacation! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I love the feeling of having a day "for me".  It's well needed at this time of year. Personally, I think they need at least 2 of these homeschool conventions a year. By this time, most moms are feeling tired and weary and desperate for encouragement. Thank the Lord, I have an opportunity to go. I am having a difficult week and it's been a real test of relying on God. I know that God's plans are not our plans and that He has all things in control. But it's sometimes so difficult for me (who is kinda a control person) to completely TRUST.  I wish I had the faith of a child right now!  I can't get into details but I would love those who have a chance to pray to pray for me. She has insprired me so much and I've only read 3 blog entries. I must find her and add her to my friend list. (if I can figure out how!) So I ordered Sonlight but I am still not sure what I am going to be doing next year. I want to make sure I include a fair amount of Canadian content and that's difficult to do with Sonlight. Although, sonlight's literature is amazing. So hard to choose! We've got a wonderful library started here at home and I know it will only get better as the years go by. THere are such good books out there and I am a book junkie. I go into my homeschool room and I love the smell in there---it smells like books! I should go! Have a great day everyone! Wow. Can't imagine those hot summer days when we feel this cold. But, I love the seasons. We are blessed to be able to see all of them here. My favorite of course is fall.
