Doubt - not in God's Dictionary

Read Ephesians CAREFULLY
I am paraphrasing parts from Chapters 1 and 2.
Through Jesus we have access to the Father. We are given unsearchable riches of Christ. We have access with confidence through faith in Him. Let’s really comprehend how big He really is and how big His love for us is… it is even bigger than we can know.. and know that He is not only ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think but really, really wants to. It’s totally up to you. For it is ACCORDING TO the POWER that is IN US (our faith).
For God, doubt does not exist. And for his children, it should not either.
Our need merely to be single minded and not waver. It IS happening!

Get out of the Boat!

Get Out of the Boat and Keep Walking!

Do you want to see God work in your life? Get out of the boat!!!
I am making a major move in my life that I’ve dreamed about for at least a year. What did I do about it this last year? Pretty much nothing. No wonder nothing happened.
Get serious!
That’s what I have done lately. I decided that I needed to do the many things I needed to do, so that when the doors opened I would be ready! Was I ready? Am I ready? NO!
So how can God do anything if you are not ready?
Now I am out of the boat (have been for a couple weeks at least) and walking on the water.. moving forward. One thing I never do is look back (another great lesson to save yourself from sadness, heartache and regrets) and I am not getting back in any “safe” boat! I’ve waited for this for too long, and even though I have been sooo blessed where I am, I know God has even better for me!
Get out of the boat! If you sit on the shore you go nowhere!
2Corinthians 5:7 “walk by faith”
Isaiah 30:21 “This is the way, walk ye in it.”
.. “walk in the Spirit,” “walk in love”

Are You Really Listening?

Matthew 13
9"Are you listening to this? Really listening?"
10The disciples came up and asked, "Why do you tell stories?"
11-15...Whenever someone has a ready heart for this, the insights and understandings flow freely. But if there is no readiness, any trace of receptivity soon disappears. ...In their present state they can stare till doomsday and not see it, listen till they're blue in the face and not get it. I don't want Isaiah's forecast repeated all over again:

Your ears are open but you don't hear a thing.
Your eyes are awake but you don't see a thing.
   The people are blockheads!
They stick their fingers in their ears
      so they won't have to listen;
   They screw their eyes shut
so they won't have to look,
so they won't have to deal with me face-to-face
      and let me heal them.
16-17"But you have God-blessed eyes—eyes that see! And God-blessed ears—ears that hear! A lot of people, prophets and humble believers among them, would have given anything to see what you are seeing, to hear what you are hearing, but never had the chance.
... 23"The seed cast on good earth is the person who hears and takes in the News, and then produces a harvest beyond his wildest dreams."
.'"
Are you listening to this? Really listening?...
51Jesus asked, "Are you starting to get a handle on all this?"
   They answered, "Yes."
52He said, "Then you see how every student well-trained in God's kingdom is like the owner of a general store who can put his hands on anything you need, old or new, exactly when you need it."
58But Jesus said, "A prophet is taken for granted in his hometown and his family." He didn't do many miracles there because of their hostile indifference.

God's Economy, Baby!

Have you been listening, believing and seeing the bad money news? Sure... that's exactly how it happens! Faith cometh by hearing.. hearing both bad and good. First you hear it, then you believe it, then you think it, then you see it. Simple. And the more people doing this, the worse it will be. As for me, I made a decision long ago to live above the world. Since this whole "mess" started, I decided to continue my pattern. I turn off the news, refuse to listen, hear or think about it, but continue to put my trust in God. Now I can tell you again that He never fails you when you don't let your faith fail. In every situation in my (money is what we are talking about here) things are better than last year. I'm not talking about personal income. I'm talking about things like investments being worth more than a year ago, commissions I have to pay people being less, and even costs of big ticket items I need being down! Moreoever, every debt/bill was/is paid when it comes due! Go figure! :) People, you really can put your trust in the Lord. First get plugged in to Jesus if you are not, then simple believe what he says! Why is it so difficult?
Isaiah 55 The Message (Excerpts.. read it all!)
1-5 "Hey there! All who are thirsty,
come to the water!
Are you penniless?
Come anyway—buy and eat!
Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk.
Buy without money—everything's free!...
Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best,
fill yourself with only the finest.
Pay attention, come close now,
listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words.
I'm making a lasting covenant commitment with you, ...
8-11"I don't think the way you think.
The way you work isn't the way I work."
God's Decree.
"For as the sky soars high above earth,
so the way I work surpasses the way you work,
and the way I think is (WAAAAAAAAAAAAY lol) beyond the way you think....
12-13"So you'll go out in joy,
you'll be led into a whole and complete life.
The mountains and hills will lead the parade,
bursting with song.
All the trees of the forest will join the procession,
exuberant with applause.
No more thistles, but giant sequoias,
no more thornbushes, but stately pines—
Monuments to me, to God,
living and lasting evidence of God."

King's Kids

We should meditate on this more often. We are children of God. What does that mean? Think about it. You have children... you want to give them everything. Everything it is in your power to give, you give. Well God has all power. Why would He not give us absolutely everything also? We are his heirs. All he has is ours.

Galatians 4:
4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Be Healed.. Choose.....

Need healing? Need to walk in greater health? Simple.. believe the mulitude of Bible verses and STOP believing symptoms! Jesus has paid the price, now we have the easy part. Don't have to lift a finger! Just CHOOSE to believe! That's all it takes.Really.

Matthew 12:15 " great multitudes followed him (Jesus), and he healed them all..
Matthew 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. (sssssssssssssssoooo many verse like this in the gospels, grad hold of them!)
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Is it not obvious to you?

Is it Not Obvious to You?
Excerpts from Galatians 3: 7-14, The Message

7-8Is it not obvious to you that persons who put their trust in Christ (not persons who put their trust in the law!) are like Abraham: children of faith?…Scripture anticipated this in the promise to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed in you.”

We must live by faith, it is the only way, the only possible way to live a life both satisfying and pleasing to God.

“..anyone who tries to live by his own effort, independent of God, is doomed to failure. Scripture backs this up: “Utterly cursed is every person who fails to carry out every detail written in the Book of the law.”

…Rule-keeping does not naturally evolve into living by faith, but only perpetuates itself in more and more rule-keeping, a fact observed in Scripture: “The one who does these things [rule-keeping] continues to live by them.”
13-14Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse. And now, because of that, the air is cleared and we can see that Abraham’s blessing is present and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God’s life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing—just the way Abraham received it.

Answer this Question

5-6Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you? Don't these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God.

Think about it. What mighty things could we do without God? Nothing, right. We might think we are doing something on our own but even our own strength and every ability comes from God. From our fantastic design to every other thing we do. Just think of our bodies. Hands in just the right position to do what we need to do, fingers so we can do things, pick up things. Etc. etc.! How much more can he do the things we cannot do. IF we trust him to do it for us and in us, anything is possible. So then rest in God and put your complete trust in him, he will NEVER fail you if you do this. Guaranteed.

By Spirit Only

There is only one way to God, and, all the things of God even those that apply to the flesh of man. No matter how hard a man or woman works, claws or even begs, there is only one way. It has nothing at all to do with man, or man's works. Nothing. God's way is so much higher than our way. It is something higher, something greater, something ethereal, something supernatural. Indeed it is God Himself.
We have to believe in something -Someone - bigger. The way to ride on the Spirit road is by faith.
Galatians 3...
2This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
We do not become who we should be in Christ by any of our works. We can only "arrive" by abiding in the Spirit, by letting God do the work. We do not receive anything from God by "being good," etc. All of our works are as "filthy rags" anyway, so why not just rest in God and allow him to take care of all the changes we need in our lives.. inside and out?

People Pleasing Part 2

Galatians 2 tells us about how Peter was a people pleaser. When the crowd changed, his actions changed.
12For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
As if his actions would change his acceptance by God! No way....

16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified....
20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
