He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”   Whether or not you believe these words of the prophet Ezekiel judge yourselves; as I have pondered and thought and wished I had not this errand to do, I cannot deny it any longer.   These are words of warning not of self aggrandizement or pride but of a charity which is hard to comprehend. We forget the powers we wrestle with, “not of flesh and blood but principalities and powers….against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I am not the enemy; but a warning voice in these last days.    This nation is on the brink of destruction.  This nation no longer serves the God who set it up as a free nation.   Therefore God is not bound to protect it from the destructive forces Satan has put in place over the generations.   We have come into this life of no coincidence or happen-stance.  We are here for a purpose to work out our souls salvation with fear and trembling.  We are here to choose whom we will serve.  Who do we spend our days in service to?  Ourselves or God.  We should have no other gods before Him.  Who are we serving?!   I write this to warn all. I do it because I love the Lord and he loves you, and He has placed this burden upon my heart.   He is calling all to repentance because the night is coming and the day of work (repentance) is about over.  The time for repentance is almost past.  The world as we know it IS coming to an end.  You can argue all you care too, but it is true! We as a nation and a global community have chosen evil. Collectively!  Through our ignorance  and complacency. We have chosen or allowed wicked, evil leaders to come in and dismantle our freedoms and rights as a God fearing nation and our laws reflect it, our government reflects it.   We have served ourselves.  The Israelites many times became prideful and walked contrary to the Lord.  They were His chosen people (and still are).  But time and time again he used the Assyrians, Babylonians and Philistines to chastise and smite and humble his chosen people. We are about to be humbled.  His judgment is upon us, we must repent and hold fast to Him and turn from our evil ways if we are to be saved.   We must look at the big picture and realize this life is not just about the temporal (jobs, homes, hobbies, politics, and money……things).  We must focus on the reason; the purpose for us being here, and the ramifications for our eternal decisions we make each and every day of our lives.  So many decisions we make every day are eternal...  They will affect us for eternity.  What we do with what we’re given.  None of us have the excuse of ignorance.  We live in an information society.  Information on demand anytime, there will be no excuse.  And what do we do with the information we receive?  Do we research it? Do we PRAY about it? Do we really want to know the truth?  Really?  All right lets go to the one who CREATED “The truth” and ask Him for the revealment.  Don’t take my word for it.  James 1:5,6 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. The Liver energy is considered the General, the director of energy, the leader of all the meridians, the instigator, the birth. So we are at the beginning again. Each Spring, as it has done for millenia, chi begins its yearly movement round the body, focusing in each meridian as the moon waxes and wanes. (Forgive us those in the Northern Hemisphere for discussing Spring, while you are experiencing descent into winter darkness.) In the spring. We are being born again, and as with our own birth, we are bestowed with the bounteous stores of energy our bodies have gathered during our time in the womb of the winter months. Suddenly our bodies release this energy, we clear away any accumulations and begin the ascent into the most Yang time of year, High Summer. We’ll need to be in tip top shape to cope with the extra energy needs of Summer. So our bodies begin to naturally detoxify. Our Liver energy is responsible for the free flow of energy which is needed to clear away accumulations and project us into Summer. What happens in the body when the Liver Meridian is not flowing freely? In the case of excessive symptoms like red hot pimples, painful muscles or ligaments or digestive difficulties involving pain some may be tempted to ‘cleanse’ the Liver with herbs and fasting. Be aware however, that most people have impaired digestion and starving it or giving the body only cold raw juices will not improve this, nor will herbs be very well digested. Instead, most excessive situations will respond to nourishment. How do you Nourish the Liver? Ancient Chinese Medical Texts prescribe the organ of an animal to treat the organ that is out of balance and its associated energy meridian. Kidney of an animal for the Kidney energy, tripe for digestion, liver for the Liver. The Li-Chi, a handbook of rituals published during China’s Han era (202B.C. to 220A.D.), lists liver as one of the Eight Delicacies. Practically every cuisine has liver specialties. Some cultures place such high value on liver they consider it the seat of the soul. It is so sacred that human hands can’t touch it. As soon as a beast is slain, special implements extract the liver and cut it into as many pieces as there are members in the tribe. They would eat it there and then, raw and warm. Much like other great predators, ancient humans sought out older animals who would have larger livers and fatty offal and would often left their lean rump for the carrion. It is widely known by all ancient societies that liver is the most nourishing food on the planet. Liver contains more nutrients, gram for gram, than any other food including: High-quality protein Vitamin A - nature’s most concentrated source All the B vitamins in abundance, particularly vitamin B12 if consumed raw One of our best sources of folic acid A highly usable form of iron Trace elements such as copper, zinc and chromium; liver is our best source of copper A yet unidentified but proven to exist anti-fatigue factor CoQ10, a nutrient that is especially important for cardio-vascular function if consumed raw A good source of purines, nitrogen-containing compounds that serve as precursors for DNA and RNA. But isn’t Liver Dangerous? In spite of widespread tradition and abundant scientific evidence on the health benefits of liver, conventional nutritionists now warn against its consumption. Toxins “What about the Toxins” is a common response to the suggestion of consuming liver. Indeed, one of the roles of the liver is to neutralize toxins (such as drugs and pesticides); but the liver does not store toxins. Instead, poisonous compounds that the body cannot neutralize and eliminate are likely to lodge in the fatty tissues and the nervous system. The liver is not a storage organ for toxins but it is a storage organ for many important nutrients (vitamins A, D, E, K, B12 and folic acid, and minerals such as copper and iron). These nutrients provide the body with some of the tools it needs to get rid of toxins. So why would you want to clean something that is not dirty? Practitioners who recommend liver cleansing usually mean, deprive your body of any substantial food so your liver doesn’t have to work on digestion and can clean your blood of toxins. Again, this will only work well if your digestion is strong and you are not deficient of energy. Still, healing through nourishment is, in most cases, more valid a protocol. It deserves to be mentioned: Do not consume the livers of animals who’ve lived in confinement. Pasturefed and Organic are better choices (if you’re in Australia organic means animals have access to grass and natural feed). If you only have supermarket options, ask for calves liver, they have lived on pasture. Vitamin A Toxicity Concerns about Vitamin As toxicity stem from studies in which moderate doses of synthetic vitamin A were found to cause problems and even contribute to birth defects. But natural vitamin A found in liver is an extremely important nutrient for human health and does not cause problems except in extremely large amounts. The Merck Manual cites vitamin A toxicity in Arctic explorers who developed drowsiness, irritability, headaches and vomiting, with subsequent peeling of the skin, within a few hours of ingesting several million units of vitamin A from polar bear or seal liver. These foods are incredibly high in Vitamin A and need to be eaten with foods that are high in Vitamin D such as blubber from these animals. When A and D are in balance, that is a ration of 10:1, toxicity doesn’t occur so easily. The putative toxic dose of 100,000 IU per day is contained in two-and-one-half 100-gram servings of duck liver or about three 100-gram servings of beef liver. From the work of Weston Price, we can assume that the amount in primitive diets was about 50,000 IU per day. A good recommendation for liver is one 100-gram serving of beef, lamb, bison or duck liver (about 4 ounces) once or twice a week, providing about 50,000 IU vitamin A per serving. Chicken liver, which is lower in vitamin A, may be consumed more frequently. If you experience headaches or joint pains at this level, cut back until the symptoms go away. Eat it Raw If you are trying to balance Liver yin deficiency eating your liver raw will nourish the yin more than cooked. Eating Liver raw ensures you get the full dose of B6 and B12, CoQ10, enzymes and possibly the anti-fatigue factor. It’s yin energy soothes dried liver symptoms (itchiness, headaches, dry eyes, muscle tightness, irritability). The best way to eat raw liver is to freeze it for 14 days to avoid any parasitic infection (unlikely but possible especially in those with impaired immune systems). When frozen, cut it into teaspoon sized pieces and put them into little coin bags. Keep them in your freezer and use one baggie at at time, chopping into little pills to swallow with a drink. The primary benefit of swallowing liver pills frozen, is you can’t taste it. I take my liver pills with raw milk for the extra nourishment and so I don’t burp up the taste. The physician Max Gerson used raw liver juice, extracted with a special juicer that pressed out the liquid, in his original healing protocol with pancreatic cancer patients. His daughter, Charlotte Gerson, later dropped this part of the protocol because of the unavailability of fresh clean liver without bacterial contamination. Now a crude liver extract injection or desiccated liver tablets are used in the current protocol. However, Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez, a New York doctor who treats cancer holistically, insists that all his patients eat raw liver. Also grate frozen liver into the yolk of an egg or add it to tomato juice. Liver Recipes Lynn Razaitis, Leader of the Atlanta, Georgia Chapter of the Weston A Price Foundation, has found some wonderful medieval European recipes. She says,”Ancient cookbooks even describe the use of liver to thicken sauces, apparently by pressing raw puréed liver through a fine strainer and adding it to sauce that was then carefully heated but not boiled. (During Lent, fish livers served to thicken sauces!) As long as the liver flavor does not overpower the flavor of the sauce, this could be a good way to get liver into your family without them ever knowing it! We had toast with real butter and cinnamon sprinkled on it!   You might want to share this information with a friend, kinfolks and love ones ~ everyone needs healthy help information ~ what they do with it is up to them http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/jones9387/630391/ Wed, 10 Dec 2008 10:08:00 -0600 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/jones9387/630391/ Well a lot has happened in 4 months.  First of all we didn't sell our house.  :(  I guess it wasn't the Lord's time for us to move.  So we took our house off the market some months ago.  I don't know if Dh is going to what to put our house up for sale in the spring yet or not.  Just a couple of days ago I started to have this feeling like I wanted to start looking for houses again.  But I guess it won't do us any good to look since our house isn't even on the market.  We Sold our red tractor that we bought for the land that we were going to purchase because we didn't want it to sit and not have it be used  then we wouldn't have gotten what we paid for it.  My in-laws sold a horse then bought another horse.  Home-schooling is going pretty good.  We went hunting in November and brought home 4 deer. That I am thankful for.  http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/jones9387/559299/ Thu, 10 Jul 2008 11:57:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/jones9387/559299/ Well we finally hired a real estate agent to sell our house.  Because we have found a house and are wanting this house to sell quickly.  I am so tired of cleaning and trying to keep the house clean.  Don't get me wrong I do like living in a clean house but when you have kids it sure is hard to keep the house clean.  We are Hoping and praying that our house will sell.  We want to get out of here ASAP.  Also My sisters wedding is this Saturday and I am not going.  Long story.  I feel bad but that is the way it has to be.   So I am going out of town this weekend so that I don't have to bother with any of my family.   Just a messed  up situation.  The Lord has given me piece and comfort.  The Lord is weeding those people out of my life so that I can continue to grow spiritually.  My sisters have definitely hindered my spiritual growth. Despite what the political parties would like you to believe, the problem in America is not the politicians, it is the pulpits. I hate to break the news to you, but most of America's pulpits are filled with cowardly men. They are a shame to the Christ they claim to serve. Harsh words, aren't they? Not the type of thing that will make any friends in this "cheap-Grace" culture in which we live. But that's okay. I'm not looking to make friends. I am about fed-up with what I see. How did we ever get such man- pleasing leaders? All that our fore-fathers held dear is being destroyed before our very eyes and hardly a peep from the pulpit. They don't want to hear it. It's the pulpiteers that I am talking about. They are concerned with being too harsh, they tell me that "Jesus is in control," that they are not "called" to fight evil and that "we should pray for our enemies." Where have these guys come from? What we need is a return of the Voice of God thundering through the prophets standing in America's pulpits. Not the prissy Purpose Driven drivel passing as the Gospel today. The feminized-preachers of today cannot hold a candle to those who ushered in The Great Awakening which led to the American Revolution, and the abolition of slavery -- two world- changing events spearheaded by the pulpit. Listen to the message of America's premiere preachers today. Rick Warren and his Purpose Driven Life have infiltrated the Church. Over 400,000 pastors have attended his conferences and over 40 million of his books have been sold. Wikipedia tells us "Since September 2002, over 30,000 congregations, corporations, and sports teams across the United States have participated in a "40 Days of Purpose" emphasis. A May 2005 survey of American pastors and ministers conducted by George Barna asked Christian leaders to identify what books were the most influential on their lives and ministries." The Purpose Driven Life was the most frequent response. Today's Christians are more familiar with the words of Warren than the Words of Jesus. Thousands of America's churches have used it in their Bible Studies and thousands of preachers preach Warren's message. Joel Osteen was voted Most Influential Christian in 2006. His preaching style focuses on "the goodness of God rather than sin." He is a self-described "Life-coach" and "thinks that there are probably others better qualified, or more gifted for explaining Bible verses. Osteen explains that he tries to teach Biblical principles in a simple way, emphasizing the power of love and a positive attitude." Wikipedia. "Presently, Osteen and several Lakewood Church team members travel across the nation, presenting programs in large stadiums to a paying public." He has sold millions of books to millions of feel-good Christians. Watch this. While our nation is killing babies, our schools are indoctrinating Christian-kids in Secular Humanism, and "Truth has fallen in the streets," our preachers are attending church-growth seminars, using 'self-help" books to supplement the Bible, and chasing after the butts and bucks. They are fiddling while the nation burns, building their church rather than Christ's Kingdom. Public schools are destroying the faith of Christian children and the pulpits are silent. Legislation is introduced to remove the rights of parents and the pulpits are silent. Children are taught they came from apes and the pulpits are silent. Millions of children are "medicated" to control their behavior and the pulpits are silent. Gambling is promoted to pay for schools and the pulpit is silent. Precious babies are being murdered in the womb and the pulpits are  silent. Planned Parenthood kills babies with our tax dollars and the pulpits are silent. Judges make laws and the pulpits are silent. Tolerance trumps Truth and the pulpits are silent. Sodomy is granted legal protection and the pulpits are silent. The institution of marriage is crumbling and the pulpits are silent. Obama says the Sermon on the Mount justifies gay marriage and the pulpits are silent. Government has replaced God as defender and provider and the pulpits are silent. Faith-based initiatives invite the government into the Church and the pulpits are silent. The IRS muzzles the voice of the Church and the pulpits are silent. Taxes are levied to do the work of the Church and the pulpits are  silent. The Church locks arms with compassionate-conservativism and the pulpits are silent. Children's service agencies separate family members and the pulpits are silent. Self-help books replace the Bible and the pulpits are silent. A Purpose Driven Life is elevated above dying to self and the pulpits are silent. G.W. Bush says Christians and Muslims worship the same God and the pulpits are silent. The Constitution is ignored and the pulpits are silent. Pagans pray to open a session of Congress and the pulpits are silent. Our elected officials lie and steal and the pulpits are silent. Private property is stolen by government and the pulpits are silent. Mother Earth is protected more than Father God is defended and the pulpits are silent. Illegal aliens over-run our borders and the pulpits are silent. The entertainment industry celebrates debauchery and the pulpits are  silent. From a bygone era, the sound from the pulpit rumbles throughout the  ages. "Could a mariner sit idle if he heard the drowning cry? Could a doctor sit in comfort and just let his patients die? Churches don't need new members half so much as they need the old bunch made over. There wouldn't be so many non-church goers if there were not so many non-going churches. Truth, justice and the American way are a thing of the past. This is dad getting eaten up by triceratops.  I tried to get Trenton to stick his head in Triceratops mouth but he wouldn't.  I kept telling him that he is not real.  I guess he wasn't sure of that. Jenna ate the dino's head.
