If, my poem (no laughing please)

If you said you would always be there, but didn't mean it

If you told me you loved me, but wasn't sure

If you stared at me for hours wishing I was someone else

If you spent all your time with me while wanting every second of it back

If you told me you cared when you felt nothing

If everything you ever said to me was a lie

It wouldn't change the way I feel about you

I know this because the truth is, there never were any "if"s

SORRY!!!

Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't written a blog in soo long!
I've actually been pretty busy!
Let's see....where do I start...Well, in March my sister and I flew to see my grandma and grandpa(Grandmonkey and Pops, my moms parents) in Texas. I had so much fun, it was amazing!!! We got to visit my dads brother while we were there since he lives about 45minutes away from our grandparents he invited us to a bar-b-q at his house with his longtime girlfriend and her daughter. It's way out in the country so I definitely felt at home. I really missed Texas, there's so much to do there and the people in the area we were at were extremely nice. Even Chik-Fil-A workers...I mean everyone was so sweet.
We were there for about 6 days. Went to their church(huge) and went shopping for days...lol

Oh and I forget if I already told you this in one of my previous blogs, but I'm going to tell you again...my sister and I got pet rabbits! They are ADORABLE! Mine's a brown-ish red color with some black spots and her name is Gracie(full name is Graceland after Elvis' place in Memphis). My sisters is almost all white with a little grey and black on her face and her name is Holly(after Amanda Bynes' charector on the show "What I Like About You"). They take a lot of time...and money, but they are sooo worth it!!

In less than 3 weeks the family(mom, dad, sister, me) are going to Disney World! YAYYYY!! lol, love it!
My sister and I have so many babysitting jobs for the church coming up. I love it when we get to babysit for the church, the kids are adorable.

I found an audition for something that's near Disney when we're there and it seems like a very good oppertunity, I just have to see if times and everything will work out.

Our church's Vacation Bible School is coming up in June. I'm going to be a class leader for the 4-5yr olds! I'm so excited. They're always the best age group!

And about my birthday, it was great! I did have a small party with 3 of my friends, we had cake and hung out and watched Hairspray. Then for my family day my mom, dad, sister, grandma, great aunt, and I went out to dinner at a steak house. It was very nice! I got a lot of awesome presents, but it's been so long since I've written a blog, my birthday was 2months ago and I can't remember exactly what I got...hehe
And, no...I still don't have my permit!! ARRRGGG!!! hahaha.....

Well, I think that's all the really important stuff going on in my life right now...except I do have one really cool update...
To everyone who was wondering(probably nobody...haha) I got back in touch with Glory!!!!!!!!!! You know that friend of mine from 2nd and 3rd grade...I wrote about her in one of my other blogs.
Well, FOUR different people contacted me about her!!!
I now have her phone number, email, aim s/n...We talked on IM once and she's still really sweet! So to everyone involved with contacting me with info on her THANKS SOOOO MUCH!

I should be going now, but I'll try to write again soon!
 Love y'all! - Luke 18:27

So Blank

Okay so, this is kinda just a way of saying, sorry I haven't written in a while, but I don't really have much to say. I haven't gotten to see my grandma yet, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years were all awesome, but the exact same as every year. I got a laptop I've been begging for, for about 4 years this Christmas! Along with A-LOT of other stuff like, a digital camera, clothes from Hollister, money, CD's, DVD's, Sims2, guitar, lots of candy and a bunch more stuff I can't think of right now.

I turn 16 in one month and thirteen days. I don't think I'll do anything much differently than what I do every year. Maybe go to the mall with a couple friends or something. I would really like to have a small party or sleepover, but there's one major problem: My friends absolutely DO NOT get along... which makes everything a lot harder. The friends that I am really close to and are like family to me don't like my old friends that I still talk to sometimes, and I would invite even though we're not as close anymore. So I think this year will be kinda boring too. I'm just happy I get to say I'm 16! lol.

I won't be able to get my driver's license since I'm not in a rush to drive. I don't even have my permit yet. I'm working on it, I'm close, but still got my final test to do. WARNING: NEVER LET YOUR PARENTS SIGN YOU UP FOR AN EXTREMELY BORING CLASS ONLINE! It would be better to test your brains out in one week with pencil and paper, then to worry yourself, put if off, and make excuses for it through a whole year. I never liked online learning, but give me a book I can highlight in and I'm good. =) lol.

So anyways, I don't have huge expectations for this year...I wish I did though. I really, really, really want to get into acting and maybe modeling, but my mom...doesn't get it I guess. She doesn't really try to help, she calls one place(after MONTHS of begging her to) and if that doesn't work out, then that's it. She gives up easily. Me, I stick to certain ideas for a looong time. I'll probably still want this when I'm moved out, and it'll be even harder then. Not having your parents there for you.

If I could do anything and everything I wanted to this year here's what my list would be:

*Volunteer at a homeless shelter.
*Give blood.
*Go to a couple auditions.
*Meet someone famous.
*Go to L.A.
*Go on a missions trip to Bolivia and visit an orphanage.
*Get a job at a daycare.
*Help out a deserving single mom in my church who really needs a car, maybe give a helpful amount towards one for her.
*Have a family reunion, with a bonfire on the beach, the whole nine yards, not expensive just, sentimental, and memorable(my parents don't like extended family that much especially not all at the same time, they're never the ones to take the first step for anything).
*Have a 16th Birthday Party, small would be GREAT! Big...well that would be a MIRACLE.....
*Meet the someone that I'll spend the rest of my life with and fall in love...hahaha...yeah right like that's ever gonna happen. Seriously, I mean not EVER.
*Get a really great, dependable, likable, Christian best friend, who will always be there, that I have stuff in common with.
*Help out as many people as is physically possible.
*Put all my most important thoughts that I want my grandchildren's grandchildren to remember into a book.
*Make a difference.

If I die young, which I realize is not impossible(I'm not that naive), I don't want to be remembered as a nice teenager who volunteered and babysat. I want to be somebody. I guess that's a quest all humans have been set on finding since the beginning, wanting their life to of meant some thing....something great, discovering a cure for cancer...or being the first female or member of your race to do something important. Maybe that's why there are so many people in World Record books every year. They are so desperate to be remembered by the world, that they are willing to do whatever they can to be recognized, bu the only thing is, someone might read that book through once or twice. Your forgotten about a couple weeks later. That's not who I want to be. Hmmm.........who said children aren't capable of thought, decision making, and/or consequence processing, at the same level as an adult? You know, that makes us feel like underdeveloped animals.. Say what you will, but I've heard more morals, intelligence, sincerity, understanding, and logic come from the mouths of many five year olds than most of the adults I've ever talked to.
I think once you get to a certain age you lose the wonder and insight you once had, and you don't really even care anymore.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading, and congratulations if you have had the patience to get this far! Love Y'all as always! Have a great year and I'll try to write again soon...whenever something interesting happens lol. MWUAH! <333

Get to Know My Friends Without Ever Meeting Them! lol(just something I thought would be fun to do)

Alyson(16), Smart even though she doesn't realize her intellectual potential. She is really pretty if she would just do some simple things to take care of her hair, teeth, and skin. She is one of the most difficult people I know, which kinda makes her...her. lol She's been my friend for 5 years and I'm still learning new things about her till this day. She can make you happy if your in a bad mood and at a sleepover.......watch out! lol she comes out of her protective, worry bubble and she's so awesome! I think she has a hard time accepting herself for herself.
Ok, so yes, she can be a drama queen and completely depressing at times, but if that's all you see than you don't look at people through God's eyes, which is what I've been trying to do lately. Underneath that all is an amazing person who will change the world someday if she gets her thoughts straight. She just needs to know exactly where she stands. I love ya Aly!

Lisa(16), She is an amazing friend. She's got ur back no matter what until the end. But cross her and you'll be sure to be embarrassed in front of your hot-shot friends or made to feel so guilty that you apologize even if you were in the right. lol She's strong, but has her sensitive days. She wears her heart on her sleeve some days and you won't get her to talk about it on others. She is one of the few people I know who, when she messes up, she actually learns from it.
All in all, Lisa you're gonna make a great wife, mother and youth pastor some day. Follow God in all you do and KEEP STRONG. I love you Sa!

Danielle(also known as D., 13) ATTITUDE! lol. She's all girl and all attitude. She's a great person and gets attached, but NOT to guys...lol at least not that easily. She is SO random and will definatly tell you what she thinks even though sometimes she's a little too blunt about it.
She loves animals especially dogs. She hates her cats which is kinda weird those are the only animals she doesn't like..lol she even likes other peoples cats..just not her own. lol.
She gets easily annoyed. She is sooo small. She only weighs like 100 pounds. But she kinda looks lighter than that.
She does not gain weight no matter how much she eats... and she eats ALOT! lol Every two seconds she's hungry. She LOVES chocolate cake (unlike Aly who hates cake, cupcakes, most ice cream and only likes brownies), but D will eat anything!
Her absolute FAVORITE thing to say is "Get over it!" She's been saying it for about a year now CONSTANTLY! So that's Danielle...described the best I could, but you can never fully know D, she's always got something new going on! =) Love ya D!

MaKinzey(also known as Breezy on dittytalk.com, 13)
Wow..where do I start on her! lol I love her sooo much, she is my little sister, my best friend, but she knows how to get herself hurt...just fall in love. UNLIKE her best friend Danielle she easily gets attached to guys she likes right away. She knows how to handle herself though and just give her about 6 months and she'll get over it even she'll still talk a lot about them.
She is also very random and VERY pretty..she loves animals and being close to friends. It doesn't matter who it is, if she likes them after she meets them she will be their best friend and ALWAYS on the phone with them. She is really caring when she wants to be, but she can very, very stubborn! Very! lol So if she's having a bad day...she ain't gonna play nice lol stay out of her way...
She knows what she wants...well for now she does. It'll change next week. :-) Love ya Kinz!

Amanda(My official nickname for her is Manda-Man..long story lol, 17)
Ok...there is so much to say about Manda-man.. lol, she can brighten up my day just by walking in the room..She is true blonde and proud of it and don't nobody make a blonde joke around her! lol
She is a really sweet person and everything she does you just know it's out of good intentions. She is often positive, but we all have our days.
Actually she is one of the few people other than my family that I'd trust my life to.
She is just such a great friend. You could complain for hours and she'd just be sitting there paying attention and not just hearing, but listening. Anyone can tell that she is sooo sincere and she's SO FUNNY! She'll make HILARIOUS cut-down jokes and then feel like she has to apologize and she'll be like "I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it. I was just kidding, you know that right? I was just kidding.."
LOL and then she'll feel bad and were all like "OMG! You're way too nice!" lol. Most the time she is a really good sport, and you can always count on Amanda to play by the rules..of a simple board game or in life! She's such a quick learner and loves to encourage people 24/7. She is very determined when she wants to do something, she is going to do it.
Love ya Amanda(My Manda-man)!

Malcolm(16), haha my sisters unofficial boyfriend. He is very funny and LOUD! lol. We met him at youth group and he was the trouble maker. he has changed so dramatically in 2007. I don't really know him that well, but Kinzey does! She talks to that boy like 3 hours a day. He is always calling her just to call...it's so sweet. He has two cats, 2 older brothers, an older sister, and a mom. He lives at home with his mom and cats. He has a bazillion cousins and is always in his driveway or at the skate park with him and his self-proclaimed homies. lol He is very strong and has long hair. but like I said..I don't really know him beyond this point so let's move on...

Glory(about 15/16)
I went to school with this girl named Glory Traub once. It was in 2nd and 3rd grade in a Christian school on the west coast of Florida. She was a good friend and we kept in touch for a couple years after I moved, but then I called her one day ,she must of moved because her number wasn't working. Is this pathetic - that I still remember some of her 7 brothers' and sisters' names? lol She was really sweet and quiet until you got to know her and then she was a spirit bomb! lol She was full of energy and loved animals including snakes(which she brought to school one day after she found them in her pool lol...that wasn't too great of a result...poor snakes...) She always had the cleanest nails, nicest hair and beautiful earrings, but she wasn't a priss.
I really wish I could find her again someday..that would be a miracle..
I haven't talked to this girl for about 5 years and she might not even remember me, but I thought I'd include her because she'll always be a friend in my heart.
Love ya Glory!

Ok, those are my friends! The close ones at least. I am so glad I've gotten to meet them. Thanks for reading and remember, I'M ALWAYS OPEN TO NEW FRIENDS!!! <333
Love ya ALL!

Nationals

Oh, and I forgot to tell you, Fine Arts nationals was awesome. It was all great till like the last night which was fight central in the middle of the hotel, but it was all ok after. I tried to not let it bother me. I had a lot of fun...Indianapolis is sooo pretty and so is Ohio(our youth pastor made us ride 5 hours one way from Indianapolis to Ohio[the part where Cedar Point is located] just cause he wanted to ride some big roller coasters) lol. And then we had to rie back that night back into Indy. But I guess it was worth it. It was a fun, but looong day.We had sevice in the Colts Stadium every night! That was awesome. And they have these sky walk things that you can get from the Convention Center to the FOUR STORY MALL!!! And almost all the buildings were made out of brick and the best part of all....THEY HAVE CHRISTMAS TREES GROWING RIGHT OUT OF THE GROUND LIKE IN FRONT OF HOUSES AND STUFF!! Hey, I'm from Florida so that was a pretty cool change. I thought they were like grown in Canada in Christmas Tree Fields or something..lol
And for awards, our church's 'Large Puppet Group'(Iwasn't in it, but my friends and sister were) got 9th in the nation!!! And Lisa's Female Vocal Solo got a Superior, which isn't bad at all for her first year! =)

Anyway that was my Fine Arts Festival Nationals 2007, Indianapolis, Indiana story...

Haven't written in a while. So here's my new life...lol

Ok so- I've been going to a new youth group at a church down the street, I finally decided to leave mine. It wasn't for me. The preaching is more for newer Christians and this one is kinda advanced. The youth pastor there has an amazing understanding of the Bible. Like he'll say what he thinks a certain verse means and I'm just like, "Wow! I never thought of it that way..." There are NO GUYS in my life as far as boyfriends and crushes go and that's just how i like it right now...lol

I met some new people at that other church's youth group and I'm hoping that we will become good friends. They really r awesome. I'm starting to make some money now doing chores and babysitting so I get about $60.00 a month now, and I might start another babysitting job for every week soon! I'm excited about that. I danced for about an hour by myself last night, and if you knew me you would know, I don't dance! lol But I would really like to learn hip-hop dance so I started watching Alyson Stoner and Lindsay's dance classes at Mullenium Dance studios on youtube.com and I learned a couple moves.

School's ok. It's school, you know how it is...don't want to do it, but for something you have to do, it's ok. We might go see The game Plan tomorrow. It looks really cute. I'm a big Madison Pettis fan. And I've been able to keep up with all my websites except this one until now =) ....and I know it's horrible, but I love to read about celebrities and their lives. So I've been keeping up with that. haha found out some things bout some Disney stars I did NOT want to know...lol and saw some pictures I did NOT want to see... And no, not just the Vanessa scandal.
I actually feel bad for her...she really does need to stop talking to reporters though she keeps digging herself into a deeper hole.
So, all in all for a fifteen year old girl I'm doing pretty well... But I do need you guys to pray for my cousins...they aren't doing as well. Especially my 17 year old cousin...she really needs it. I'm praying too.

Thanks for reading, I'll keep ya'll posted! ttyl!!! ~Mayce

Excited

I'm getting really excited about the trip in 4 days to Nationals in Indiana. It's so gonna be great! lol as long as we get to pick where we sit on the plane because last time it was alphabetical and I had to sit by this guy i couldn't stand even though I try to be nice to him all he does is nag and annoy and make fun of girls. He acts 10....he's 17. He realllllyyyyyy hates me and I hope I don't get stuck with him again for 3 hours even though I feel bad for him. Not a lot of people like him for that reason and he's so vain that he makes up all this stuff like, "Nobody likes me cuz I'm fat." and "I'm so poor, will you buy me something or can I have that?" It gets soooo annoying because he's not THAT poor.
But even if I am stuck with him I don't think nothing can ruin this trip for me. I keep telling myself, there will be at least one other person on the row and nothing will ruin my fun. I haven't had a vacation in so long. It's not even supposed to be a vacation, it's supposed to be a competition, but whatever involves flying and being anywhere, but here is a vacation for me.

I live in nowheresville Florida where it's hot, humid, and at the moment thunder storming every single day. No, it's not a fairytale land of palm trees and Mickey Mouse(although i do enjoy Mickey at least once a year). Orlando or Miami would be great, but not where I am(in the middle). It's old people capital of history and hurricanes. We don't even have a mall. The closest one is 30 minutes away. Therefore i go about once or twice a month. So yeah, I can't wait to get away.
