The girls and I went out on a nature walk and collected items to use in the project. I gathered the whole family and we sat down to work on this banner!

Thanksgiving Unit Study

The girls school will focus around a Thanksgiving Theme for the month of November. It seems like we are always rushing to the Christmas season and never take the time to REALLY think about Thanksgiving and what it means. we have done some things on this theme in the past but this year I have found lots of things online and I want the whole family to take part. Last night we all made a thankful journal that we will write in each night telling what we are thankful for.

My home church, the church that I grew up in and t he church that I married my love in turned 100 years old this month! They celebrated with an old fashioned day! here are the kids in their sunday best :)
