http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ourlearningcenter/567760/ Wed, 30 Jul 2008 17:44:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ourlearningcenter/567760/ Last night I went out to pull weeds from the garden since I haven't done it in a while.  I also picked some green beans, peas, beats and squash!  The boys were so excited to see that we had things in the garden to be picked.  They took the squash and were jumping up and down and yelling to their Dad that we had vegetables!  They were so cute.  We also have a pumpkin growing!  Benjamin was thrilled to see that and had to drag his Dad over to see it. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ourlearningcenter/567051/ Tue, 29 Jul 2008 09:11:00 -0500 http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ourlearningcenter/567051/ We will be getting baby chickens and the momma chicken soon.  A friend of my daughters was over today and I was talking to his mother about trying to hatch chickens.  She said that they have several chickens that are sitting now and once they hatch that she would give me the babies and the mother!  The boys are so excited!  I need to get a fence put up and some type of shed for them.  I am also going to take the boys over to the farm so that they can see how cows are milked.  They have been asking about that lately so what better way to show them!
