<title>Explorer Competition</title>
<description>

Recently my Explorer post attended a Competition. We competed against 5 teams and did very well. We competed in 6 events which were, Quick Dress, Tool Identification, Hose Entanglement, Bucket Brigade, Tug-O-War, and building a Water Chute. We won first place in Water Chute, third in Tug-O-War, third in Bucket Brigade (these were team events), first and second in Tool identification (this was a personal event as was quick dress and Hose Entanglement) and we won first and second in Quick Dress.
Quick dress is going from street clothes to your bunker gear in less than 2:00 minutes. The fastest guy in our post can dress in an amazing 39 (will post video latter check back latter).
This was the Hose Entanglement the object of this event was to Start at the hydrant and take hold of the hose and when they say go than you try to get to the nozzle as quickly as you could, O and I forgot to add you are blind folded. I did not finish infact not many did, the winner spent 17 minutes on the hose. I spent about five minutes.

Here are some pictures from this event.

Looks hard hu? It was.
This is me trying very very hard not to get lost in the mess.

This was us building a Water Chute. The purpose of a water chute (very simply) is to collect water from a leek.

This is the finished product.

Tug-O-War.

&amp;nbsp;
Bucket Brigade. In this event your team each takes a bucket, fills it with water and dumps it into a barrel. Whoever's team could fill the barrel up the fastest wins.

Each man getting his bucket.
&amp;nbsp;

Hope every one enjoyed.

<title>Archery</title>
<description>I have had a Martin Jaguar bow for two years and am starting to make some good shots.
They are both from 20 yards away, let me know what you think.
&amp;nbsp;

This is a Queen of hearts I shot at.

This was me shooting a apple that was about 3 inches in diameter. I would post some more but it takes so long to load them.
One day I want to be able to split arrows but that might get expensive with arrows costing 5.00. A dozen of them, adds up to a whooping&amp;nbsp; 60.00 dollars. </description>

<title>Loss Of Freedom</title>
<description>Expelled is a documentary that Ben Stein made concerning Scientist who have lost the freedom to debate or mention that there could be an Intelligent Designer. As I watched I could not believe how much freedom we have lost in the Science field. Ben Stein&amp;rsquo;s movie shows how Scientist and Professors have been fired for even mentioning that there could be an Intelligent Designer.
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Scientist like Richard Dawkins (who is a self proclaimed atheist) wrote in his book The God Delusion that, &amp;ldquo;God is a psychotic delinquent that was invented by mad diluted people.&amp;rdquo; He also said, &amp;ldquo;God is a petty, unjust, unforgiving control freak and a vindictive bloodthirsty God&amp;hellip;&amp;rdquo; that&amp;rsquo;s only part of his quote it goes on with words that are as long as my arm describing how bad God is. Last I checked the God I serve and worship is perfect, just, forgiving, merciful, patient, all knowing, all loving, and all-powerful. Dawkins went on to say &amp;ldquo;When people give up God and religion they feel a great since of relief and freedom.&amp;rdquo; According to 2 Corinthians 3:17 the opposite is true, &amp;ldquo;Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.&amp;rdquo; My family and I are Christians and we don&amp;rsquo;t belong to an &amp;ldquo;unforgiving&amp;rdquo; God, my God is forgiving. In fact, He came and died for sinners John 3:16 says, &amp;ldquo; For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.&amp;rdquo;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; When Ben Stein asked Richard Dawkins if you ran into God after you died what would you say to him? Mr. Dawkins replied, &amp;ldquo;Sir, why did you take such great pains to hide yourself?&amp;rdquo; God does not hide himself you can see him everywhere especially science.
It makes me think, if America has lost that much freedom in the area of Science, what&amp;rsquo;s next? And is it already happening? This whole move was eye opening for me and I highly recommend that you buy it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
Buy the Movie Here.&amp;nbsp;

<title>Intro</title>
<description>Hi I&amp;rsquo;m 16 and just started blogging. It would be great if I could find some people to put on my friends list. There doesn&amp;rsquo;t seem to be a lot of guys that blog so if you just happen to come across my blog make yourself known (please).
I love to spend my days down at the lake trying to coax a largemouth bass to strike my lure, I also like sitting in the woods with my rifle patiently waiting for the &amp;ldquo;big one&amp;rdquo; to step out from behind a tree. When I&amp;rsquo;m not doing any of that I&amp;rsquo;m probably doing school.
