Back on!

Hi! Finally back on here! Here are some things that happened during the summer... but before I get to that I want to tell you I didn't get the Summer off for school. You see we take the summer break and add it on to our winter break. OK, here I go...
In March I was going to go to Air Fest for CAP, to patrol. Instead, the night before I was running a fever, so of course I didn't go. My mom and I both had the flu, and we were the only ones at home. when my bros had the flu, I acted as though I was their nurse. Now, it took strength to get off the couch and get a drink... or anything. We were so tired!
In April, my bros were on a two day bike-a-thon. But on the second day it rained, or more less poured. So we had to pick them up and drive them home. But later in the week I went with them and did thirty miles.
Here comes the best that happened in the summer... ENCAMPMENT!!!
We packed for Encampment Saturday, preparing to go to Encampment on Sunday, I didn't know what to expect. Instead of going to Church Sunday, I was being screamed at by the staff. I didn't feel alone in the screaming. EVERYONE (besides the staff of course) were being yelled at. So I was lead to a concrete barrack, they all looked the same. It was hot, and muggy. I could go on about each day at Encampment, so I'll just go to day 1 of Encampment (the day you arrive is not day one, it's day 0). I was in formation being sprayed down with some cheapy sunblock. The girl behind raised her hand and said her face was burning. I thought,"This is weird. sunblock burning you instead of protecting you from the sun!" Well, next thing I knew my face felt like it was on FIRE. I raised my hand and said my face was burning to. Captain said to rinse our face with our canteens, it didn't help. It stung so much I wanted to close my eyes. So Capt. let us go to the barrack to wash our face off. Sergent went with us. We ending up going to the medics. When we got there, the medics office was full. I thought they were goin faint. "A-all of them...wwhats wrong? Heat?" Well anyways cant go on about that, though they said we all looked like Campbell's tomato soup don't ask.... I won't go on about Encampment so I'll stop there. Oh, wait! One more thing! During the obstacle course, I fell a few times and ended up with a bruise on my back. How do I know what's on my back? I had my towel wrapped around my about to change into the clothes we sleep in. When the girl who slept by me said something was black on my back. She called over another girl who started freaking out. And to my embarrsement, they called over a Sergent. She sighed. "It's just a bruise. She has fair skin, it's going to show up black. It is a pretty bad bruise though..." Anyways, I didn't even feel a back ache or something... Moving on...
In July, we had VBS. It was space theame, so we had to make a space ship on the stage. It looked pretty cool! I got a part in a skit. It lasted the whole week of VBS. After the third time going on stage, I liked it.
I forget when, but I got a racing bike. I love it! Last bike I had was a mountian bike, which was OK but I never got to use it on a dirt path. Theres the bike trail, but it's of course paved. I like my new bike better than the old one!
I had to put my cat to sleep. He was my little baby... we would talk back in forth.. no really! I miss Tiger.......
(sigh) Anyways, my shoulder is kinda hurting right now. I've had it for like maybe 2 monthes? But it comes and goes... I guess I just keep pulling a muscle from playing the drums.
Anyways, I didn't write a ton but...
Bye!
Cassidy

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Well, to nights PT for CAP. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I'll be very very tired when I'm running a mile. We went on a bike ride a few days ago. We saw a girl who would come to our youth group on the ride. Then, who knew, we saw the pastor and his family too. We had a lot of fun talking to them, and riding with them.
I came up with I think a really good song. My friend likes it too(I think)! I'm not sure what to entitle it yet. I've thought of some names, but they all seem like they'd work for a song's name. Which might not be a bad problem for normal people, but sence I'm not normal I'm stuck!
I might be going to a seventy mile bike ride for church. Of course its split up in two days, 40 miles the first, and 30 the next. Like I said, I MIGHT be going on the bike ride, it depends on my allergies. Got 2 Go...
                                                         Cassidy
P.S. Please pray for my mom. She hurt her back a few days ago.

Encampment,windows,and scratches!

Well, you might ask whats been going on. And I'll try to tell you best I can. I was going to go to an ancampment for CAP, but then we didn't have the time to get some of the supplies I needed to go to it. So as the end result, I didn't go.( If you don't know what encampment is, it's basicly boot camp for a week) Wednesday, I sung at a pro-life confrence. I had a lot of fun! We sung The National Anthem, All the World, and Children of God.The speakers were very good, and at the end we took signs encouraging people not to abbort their child, and walked around the courthouse. I think its so sad that someone would murder their child.
This morning, for a youth group fund raiser, we washed windows for a woman at our church. It only took 6 youth to get it done in around an hour. I like to wash windows with a person to talk to when I'm doin' it. So I enjoyed doing it. When we got back from that, I went climbing trees with my friend, Savannah. I was climbing an oak, when suddenly my leg slipped. I still had a good grip on the tree it self, so I was left dangling on the branch. I jumped off, and fell on the leaf laden ground. I got up with only some scratches on my leg, and who knows how many scraches on my arm. The bad part of it was NOT the excitment of falling out of the tree, it was that I'm allergic to oak. So looking at my arm now, its red, a little swollen, and I think its its a little broken out. Savannah was trying to follow my example, and fall out of a tree to. She was in the tree, then next thing I know she was on the ground lying face down on the ground. I ran towards her, to see her move her head slightly. Thank God! I thought she was really hurt, but it turned out she got a few scratches and that was all!
                                                                         Got 2 go,
                                                                        Cassidy

Busy

Hey! Its me again! I havent written on my blog in a while, because I've been up to alot of trouble ummm...I mean I've been very busy lately. A few weeks ago we went to some caves. The caves were dark, humide, and full of places were you could get stuck! It was so much fun! I got stuck once. I was getting out of the cave, when I took the wrong passage. It lead to where it looked as if it would open to where i could get out, but it was very narrow and I tried to get through. And of course you know what happened. Anyways, I've also been baking a ton. Not that I mind, I like to bake. got 2 go

Time Again?

Well, I cant believe its almost that time again. "What time," you may ask. The time where children are getting along, the time where choirs are singing, pageants are shown, the weather changes, and most importantly the story of Jesus Christ is told. For some children its all about gifts, and food, and thats about all. But the most important time of Christmas is about that perfect One who was born. Now you might be thinking,"Christmas already! We havent even passed Thanksgiving!" But why I wrote about Christmas is that we need to prepare our hearts to worship, remember, and celebrate the birth of Christ. Its not about what we get, but what we remember.
                                                 Cassie

I'M THINKING ABOUT JOING CIVIL AIR PATROL. COOL HUH? IN CASE U DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS, ITS BASICLY AIR FORCE TRAINING. YOUR SUPPOSED TO ATTEND A FEW MEETINGS BEFORE YOU JOIN. SO WE MARCHED AND MARCHED AND MARCHED, UNTIL WE STOPPED AND WORKED ON TURNING. IT WAS FUN, BUT OF COURSE A LOT OF WORK. THERE WERE GIRLS ABOUT MY AGE, BUT I DIDN'T GET TO TALK TO THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE DOING THEIR DRILLS.
ALSO, C.A.P COULD (MAYBE, MIGHT) PAY A GOOD AMOUNT TO YOUR PILOTS LICENSE.
                                              GOT TO GO.
