Pictures Around Home

I thought I would share a few pictures with all of you around our city homestead!

Enjoy!

(And keep in touch! We miss and love all of you so very, very much!)

This is our patch of oregano. It really spread since last year!

Rebekah plays in the grass. She's not too sure about the sensation of it!
We have grape hyacinths all over our yard. (Thank you squirrels! )

Rebekah "helps" me sew up her dress, this last week.

Rebekah and me in the back, by the Angelique Tulips.

Katie "made" me pose for a picture in the front yard by the lilac tree.

Just for fun - A little "poster" we made of Gaelin.

A nice photograph of Kate.

A "mama" and her pet "son" illustrate their love toward one another.

Our sweet (albeit naughty!) dog, Jeffrey.

Kate by the lilac tree.

Rose poses for Kate's camera!

Rebekah and her "contemplative baby" look!

We had construction on our road this last week. The city was doing resurfacing of the road on the Grand Avenue side. You can see a little bit of the last of their mess behind Rose in this photograph...

The children loooove to play on my rebounder! Doesn't Nadia look like she's having a blast!?

Have a beautiful week!

Gaelin's TWELVE!

Fresh News! Hot off the iron of daily Rella life!

March 4th, Gaelin turned twelve years old.

We ordered out for supper from Prime Time Pizza, here in Beloit:

Oliver, 5 yrs (He likes to eat the toppings, and THEN the crust. Remind you of someone, Dad?)

Nadia, 4 yrs, sports a pizza face.

Rebekah (8 mths) mushed pizza "bones".

Greasy Stephen (2 yrs)

We followed our dinner with some tasty chocolate cake covered thickly in chocolate frosting.

We had Rocky Road ice cream, as well.

Gaelin admires the yummy cake.

First tastes...

Yummm!

Oliver enjoys the squoosh of frosting between his fingers. (Yes, I'm working with the children on proper table etiquette. Believe me, it's slow going.)

Of course, a birthday just isn't quite a birthday without the session of gift giving!

A bird feeder was one gift Gaelin received.

He also got a bag of seed to attract songbirds.

Opening a gift from Aunt Nancy, Uncle Jay and J.J.

Magnifying glasses are right up this nature boy's alley!

Kate gifted Gaelin with a book she wrote and created called, "Kenneth".

Other gifts Gaelin received were an executive outdoor set, mints, a butterfly casting set and a tin of stamps and hinges for his stamp collection.

Thanks for letting us share with you!

Love,
Carrie
