Wow!! Long day.

It is the Second day, and my husband tried to back out of homeschooling. I think he is getting a little overwhelmed. He said "what if we screw up and he learns nothing, then he will be even worst off". My response was "worst as in a happy, self- confience child that not begging us to please let him stay home and faking sick all the time."

Its a chance I'm willing to take.

I have already turned down a very great job offer( my former employer wants me back). I'm in this for the long haul or when the kids decide they want try public or private school again. I think my husband is scared that we will be keep him from the daily social activites. I don't feel my child should have deal with the bullies of the class, just because the teachers think he extra senstive.

Please!! He can stay home and get beat up by his two year old sister. At least I can control her (a little), but she loves her brother and basically worships him. She only strikes out when he take something from her.

I met up with my support group again today. Their were have a curriuluem sale between the members. I pickup some great items , that I feel are going really help us. and the prices were amazing. I didn't get to stay to long, had meeting desi at the bus stop. last day of school for him. Yee!!

Well, I'm done for the day, I have only had two hours of sleep. It's time for me to crush.

My First Day

Today is the first day of our new life. And I could not be more excited.

I have been want to homeschool my children for years, but couldn't get my husband to agree. but this morning before he left for his meeting, he told me look into it.

We are that unhappy and sick of his school. No help just alot he not where he should be.

Well, that's all I needed. I logged onto the net and for six straight hours I

researched every website and support group I could find. I discovered a local group was meeting tonight, so I called my husband and off we went.

The ladies in this group are awesome. they were friendly and very helpful.Any questions or worries my husband may have had, were answered.

So here we are 2 steps away from pulling my son out of his overcrowding and understaffed class. And I can't wait!!! My husband wants to take the weekend to think this thru clearly.

As far as I'm concerned it is a done deal.
