<title>Our Schoolroom 2007-2008</title>
<description>So I finally figured out how to post picture so I decided to unveil our schoolroom for 2007-2008.

This is in the corner by the window, it is our whiteboard(complete with reminders for the kids and things we have discussed. The magazine racks on the cubbies hold my teachers key one for each kid. The black drawers have papers and craft stuff for our hands on activities. And our table where we do our work.

This is our bookcase that hold our extra history books and reference section. We use our encyclopedia's a lot. The basket up top holds our history books we will use in the next year, we try not to buy a bunch because we don't have a whole bunch of storage and they tend to get lost in moves. Each years book are put in a big rubbermaid bin for the next go around. This is on the same wall as the black drawer, there is a bookcase in between.

<title>Our plans for the week</title>
<description>Well we are coming to a close with the 18th century, finally, we will be studying some famous scientists this week. We will study the Curies, Pasteur and the guy who discovered X-rays (my planning sheet is upstairs) we will also talk about the Salvation Army and the Spurgeons.

Saturday we are registering for our co-op classes, I am so excited we are number 2 out of 114, man I had a lucky day in March. Last fall we were 100 and by the luck of the draw we are 2, the kids are jazzed. We start back the Saturday after Labor day.
Please keep dh in your prayers he has an interview on Tuesday with a great company someplace he would love to work. I think we are both real drained with this job search and after 4 months we would love to close this chapter.
My goals for this week are:
type up my lesson plans for all 3 of my co-op classes so I can turn them in
pay bills (how depressing is that) on Monday
wash our sheets and towels
make grammar cards for CQLA
Talk with MUS person about fraction issues with dd

I hope you have a wonderful week and those who are starting their first week good luck and I hope you have a great week!</description>

<title>Our week in Review with pictures</title>
<description>&amp;nbsp; This is our week in review with pictures, my friend Trivium Academy's idea. It is also great for family to see what we are doing and let's see how wonderfully I can explain

This is my ds #1&amp;nbsp;notebook page on money (he was suppose to draw a reproduction of a dollar) and put on our timeline pictures for the week and talk about counterfeit.

This is my dd's booklet's that explain the Progressive, Populists and Muckrackers party. This is also her daily math practice pages, it is from the free pages. She actually did really well by only missing one, math is a struggle for her.

This is ds#2 geography page we are doing Trail Guide to US geography and this is his map page on New York. I really like Trail Guide but I don't think the kids love it, they don't loathe it so it works.

Alright and these are our statue of liberty's project we have been working on for about a month now! We were to make a replica of the statue out of water bottles, we learned model magic and we were suppose to paint. We had to construct the arms, crown and book out of a combo of wire, tape and pipe cleaners. WE haven't painted them yet and honestly we kind of like them this way.
So that was our week in review! Share yours!
