Tea Party!

We had a tea party today, after the little guy was down for a nap.  We made Chocolate Chip scones, they are so simple and yummy.  This time we used Whole Wheat (Soft/Pastry wheat) and they still came out just as moist, light, and fluffy as our first try with regular flour.  I think the difference is the flour being freshly ground though, so if you don't have a grain mill, maybe you could do half WW.

We made a pot of tea and used our newly acquired tea set with cups and plates.  The kids all thanked me for making them tea and scones and we just talked about nothing in particular.

It's funny, yesterday, my 5 year old, asked, "Does Daddy have to work to make money all the time?"  I told her that yes, Daddy did have to work, so we could have a home, food, and clothes.  She then told me, "I think you should help him!"  I told her that I help him by helping at home and that Daddy needs me here.  I think she is just missing Daddy.  His schedule is kind of crazy.
