Speaking of pants... oh yes we were, two posts ago! Today I was once again out shopping for jeans. UGH! If my son didn't need these jeans for an upcoming event I would just say forget it, but need them he does.
Anyway, we were in Goodwill waiting in line for the dressing room. I've never seen Goodwill that crowded before! Standing in line to use the dressing room, at Goodwill? We were five people back and there were people lining up behind us!
I digress... standing in front of me was a young man with his slacks hanging halfway down his buttocks. Lucky for me his boxers had remained in the full mast position. What amazed me was that he was wearing slacks this low, WITH a belt.
I assumed the belt was to keep his pants firmly attached to his upper thighs. After five minutes I found I was wrong, he actually pulled his pants all the way up to his waist. I'm wondering, "Why not cinch that belt up a bit more?" Apparently the belt was only meant to be a classy accessory.
In case you are wondering, I did not keep my eyes riveted to this mans fanny. You can only look at the things around you in line for so long before you start over again. His action of grabbing his pants and yanking them up caught my attention. Interestingly enough he was holding another pair of slacks to try on. Maybe he had lost some weight? One can only hope. Let this be a lesson to you, your fashion faux paus' and bad behavior could be the subject of some strange lady's blog.
I would now like to draw your attention away from Mr. Incorrect Belt User, and share a few blog links with you.
Creativehsmom is sharing a wonderful letter written by a mom who had been using government funding to homeschool. This mother has an important message to share with all of us about how using such programs is not trusting in Christ.
Our brave and intrepid leader, Gena, has shared an e-mail from another homeschoolblogger about her son who is facing surgery.
OreoSouza has more information about Zachary Creighton, a homeschool boy who was missing and finally found alive. It is not a happy ending at this point.
Leigh2 shares another day of gymnastics bleacher conversation. What would you give to have been in her position?
Finally, I'd like to share a crazy website. The Precision Lawn Chair Marching Dads. Who'da thunk?
