The first thing I have to do is tell you about a great post by Steve Walden. You know, that dad who was a blogger of the week, just last week? Some people just get better and better with aging. (Even if it is only a whole week.) I tend to get left in the sun and rot. Don't any of you tell me that being left in the sun can bring about good things like raisins. I detest raisins. They are poison pellets.
Back to Steve's great post. I seriously think it should be printed in TOS. So what if all of us bloggers have read it, I just think Steve should get paid for writing it! Besides he's a swell guy.
So, what are you waiting for? Go read it! Just don't forget to come back here!
You're back? Good! Now go over to the Front Porch and check out the new columns. Every Monday Christine Field will tell us about teaching special needs children. I know I'll be reading that every Monday because I have a couple of special needs children of my own.
Deborah Wuehler's column is Learning from the Master Teacher. This lady has some wise things to share with us.
Have you ever wanted to make a quilt? Now you can by reading the weekly how to's from Randi in Sew Crafty. Wish I could, but right now I just don't have the time. If you feel the same way, don't worry! You can start whenever you are ready because all of these columns will be archived, just check out the Front Porch side bar under each column's title!
Every day of the week you can check out Jennie von Eggers column, Homeschool Tip of the Day. Jennie has some fun ideas that take you outside that canned curriculum.
Be sure to check out each of these writers blogs as well. You can link to them from each of their Front Porch posts or from the sidebar under Front Porch Team.
Who says Mondays have to be so dreary?
