Boy 2 just loves food. Several times a day he tells me he's,"Hun-tee." (hungry)
He'll eat just about anything, but of course, as all small boys do he really likes sweets. Especially ice cream.
Today the boys were going to grandma's house as Girl 2 was having a party. Boy 2 said in all seriousness, "I'm go in to Gamma's hout (house). We are go in to buy ite tweem(ice cream). We might even eat it!"
Everyone laughed and joked about how sorry our family was that even the act of just buying the ice cream was a real treat, but to actually eat it too! Such frivolity!
Wouldn't you know the little bugger stole grandma's heart and she gave him three helpings! Not all at once mind you, but even so to have it spread out over the day, he should feel like the Prince of Frozen Dairy Products!
I think we forgot to remind grandma that Boy 2 can't eat much dairy, he's allergic!! I do hope he doesn't have an asthma attack. He hasn't had one in months.
If he does, I bet his little eyes will still be beaming from the memory! |

We rarely make enough for second helpings, but there's plenty of fruit and granola to snack on to fill out those corners! Maybe I should cook more to go around, eh?
