My good friend Deeonly1 was wondering about my external brain. You know, one of those organizers.
You now know that my organic brain was toasted in an unfortunate farm mishap. My "good brain", the external one, I don't use often enough. About the only thing that gets put into it are the dates and times of activities taking place in my own little timeline. I rarely look at it to see what those dates and times are that I so dutifully recorded though.
I believe these day planners were invented not just as a way to organize your time but also as a place to keep your thoughts and ideas. I don't use my "brain" for that either.
I drop my "brain" a lot. With my old three ring organizers all those thoughts would spill out and get blown away in the wind. I had to change to a Polestar Family Calendar that has a spiral binding. I can't add any pages, but at least everything stays put when I drop my "brain."
I don't know why they haven't invented a better three ring binder. Today's binders are strong enough to pierce that stray finger you so negligently let out of control, but not strong enough to keep the paper in the rings upon impact.
I suppose the reason they haven't invented a stronger binder is because it would have to have safety labels all over the thing.
"Don't lose control of your digits!
Binder will snap off any strays like a dry twig!"
"Not made for body piercing!"
Some people just don't know how to use their brain. |
