The title doesn't reflect a theme of today's Front Porch articles. It's just been one of those days for me! I sit down to write and I'm needed elsewhere, NOW! So, I finally decided I had just better get this done, I don't want any of you to miss what the Front Porch has to share with you today!
Christine Field has chosen a winner for her Homeschool Spice contest! This was a contest to see who had the best teaching tip/technique outside of the normal textbooks, and teacher's manuals. The tip itself is shared with us, and I think I'll be using it!
Jamin's Tip of the Day is a game of Circle Tag. As always she gives wonderful directions and alternatives on how to play. Personally I'm up for the freeze tag option. With this heat I may keel over if I try racing about, especially on blacktop!
Deborah Wuehler asks, "What Do You Crave?" Right now I'm craving cool. Deborah reminds us that we need to keep a balance and our eyes on Christ no matter what it is we are seeking in order to better our lives.
There you have it. Trust me, you'll be much better going over to the Front Porch than hanging about here. |
