| Hi this is Kylie. I just wanted to let you know I have a new blog address: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/Narniagirl. I've made a few changes, and I'm having a free poll going on, too, so be sure to stop by before Oct. 15th. Also, my old blog address will probably not work, so you might want to add me to your friends list again, this time as Narniagirl.
Thanks, Kylie |

| Not sure if you were upset with my entry or not, but I thought I should say for all my readers that I grew up downwind of a tallow plant that was less than a mile away, and have lived on airbases while my husband and I were in the Navy for 12 years. I know full well about smells and sounds.
I find it interesting that people in a town want an airbase, airport, train or smelly factory near their town because it will be good for income and jobs. Those things usually set up outside of city limits and many set up well outside city limits. Over time the town grows and surrounds the business. Instead of helping this business relocate yet further out of town, the people just complain about all the noise and olfactory offenses. They demand that the company go elsewhere. Interestingly enough when it does, people begin to complain that the town citizens are out of jobs, or that it now costs them more to get the products they buy or use from these business'. I've read of this happening time and time again. To complain of smells and noises with your neighbors is one thing. To begin to demand your rights for a better smelling or quieter neighborhood is quite another. |

| I live right next to Disneyland and I love hearing the neighbors complain about nightly fireworks, traffic, and music. As if they had no idea they were buying a house near an amusement park! That is WHY I bought the house, so I wouldn't have to buy a ticket to see the fireworks. he he he!
BTW I found you by "random blog" and had to comment. You crack me up! Michelle |

| But it's not my fault! I was oppressed. That train running by my house is violating my constitutional right to happiness and a peaceful night's sleep! Never mind. I'll just stay here for now. But tomorrow I plan on suing the railroad company for my fatigue and mental anguish. Maybe the government too for allowing the tracks to be built next to my property. And the people who sold me this house for not disclosing that a train would actually go down those tracks. And the train driver for blowing that whistle during the day when I'm trying to take a nap. And the company who made that whistle for making it so loud... |
