Tuesday Two Truths and One Untruth
Are you ready to find out which of the following from last week was not true?
1. I dream about tornadoes
2. I wanted to be a fighter pilot
3. I was in labor with my first baby for 26 hours
Here are the answers.
1. True. Even though I have never even seen a tornado in real life, I dream about them converging on me when I am stressed. How many tornadoes in the dream depends on how stressed I am. I've had two tornadoes in a dream and I've had seven.
2. True. I did want to be a fighter pilot. In the 7th grade I had to get glasses so there went that dream. You had to have perfect vision. So, I decided to become a spy. However, when I went to join the Navy they had to many spys and weren't taking anymore so I had to go in, "Open" which means you wind up with what they give you, generally. I became a jet engine mechanic.
3. Not true. I was not in labor for 26 hours with my first child. From the moment I told Dear Man, "I don't feel good, I want to go home," to the time I was holding a newborn baby was only four hours. I was in labor with Blue for two hours. I would love a chance to cut that labor time by half! Adopting Tiki took two years and adopting Cheeko took one, so I guess I'm still on course.
Now for this week's two truths and one not so on the level list.
1. The 18 year old boy who was my "nurse" after I gave birth to Blue had never had a patient before in his life.
2. I would love to go to China!
3. A boy proposed to me when I was freshman in high school.
Which one will it be? 1, 2, or 3? |
